Hello Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

Happy Mother's Day to everyone, not much happening here today, I'm having a girls night tonight for mom's day 2 sisters, myself and Mom all going out for dinner, then bingo, YEAH let's hope we win.

Personals:

Reenie: Welcome and sorry, I don't have any advise for either of your problems.

Paula: The clip for next weeks 90210 shows David and Donna getting married. Anyways about my background, it's really screwy, Dad is French Native Indian, Mom was adopted as a child so she doesn't know, but considering the fact that my whole family has dark hair and dark skin and I have red hair and light skin, our guess is some English or Scottish somewhere, don't know where I got the little bugger from though glad you liked it. :-)

JULIANNE : Hey HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!

LEE: 4 eggs at a time no wonder he has such a bad rash girl, I can't believe the doc wouldn't tell you about this. Let him only have one and not every day, I promise you will see a difference.

CHARLINE : The calender was a great thought but he still doesn't get the whole picture (he probably does he just loves playing games with me) We try to X off each day before bedtime but he wants to do all of them so we can get closer to his birthday. LOL

Okay that's it for today.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!!!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note before I go and hang wallpaper border. Had Caelen at Costco and Home Depot for over 3 hrs today, and not 1 tantrum, I think that was a record. I had mom and grandmother with me, and they spoil the kids, so that is probably why.

Thank you for all of your well wishes. DH toe is a little better, he actually put shoes on today. (Big baby)

Alice-Donna and David married? I haven't seen the clip yet, but I'll be watching. I have been watching that show since I was 17, pretty pathetic eh! (no offence to all you other 90210 junkies LOL!!!) Red hair? I pictured you as a brunette, although it suits your firey personality. Now I am going to have to revamp my image of you lol!!!

Hope all of your toddlers are well, and a Happy Mother's Day to everyone.

Bye for now,
Paula and Kids

Moriah-No, I knew you didn't want to debate, I was just to tired to email you ( have to go into another program to access email, normally not such a big deal by Im on a 486). I agree with you, if I had to do it over again, I would have Caelen done. I'm amazed at the amount of people who have told me in the last week, of boys and men having to have it done due to unforeseen problems. I know personally, my cousin had to have it done at 13. Can you imagine? Well I guess neither of us can really, that would be like asking a guy if he could imagine giving birth lol!!! Happy Mother's Day Moriah. Talk again soon,

Good morning ladies...SARAH here. Happy Monday. Hope you all had a great Mother's Day. Mine was terrific. DH and HANNAH got me 2 free season passes to Elitches/Six Flags. I'm very excited about that. And then we had MIL, SIL, and niece over for breakfast. DH made breakfast, and it was great!!! :) Then we got a couple of hours to ourselves before we went over to my mom's house. So, you can guess how we filled up that time! !:) :) And then my mom had a ton of people over. We had such a nice day...and HANNAH, again, was such an angel!!! Her new thing is "Uh-Oh". Sooo cute. She was VERY lovey with her mommy yesterday!!! :) :)

Oh, BTW I still need to ask for prayers for ERIN and JULIAN. Things are NOT looking good at all! :(

Well, on to personals:

MOE - Thanks for the prayers.

JULIANNE - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Thanks for the prayers! NO, you're not pathetic!!! I'm already looking forward to ER, too! :)

HELEN - You let AMANDA chew gum?? I'm gonna try not to give HANNAH any gum as long as I can! That will just start a whole new thing. Glad you got to visit your friend.

JAMIE - My dog's name is SASHA, too. What kind of dog is yours? Ours is a black lab.
Thanks for the ++++ thoughts for ERIN and JULIAN!

ALICE - I'm scared of storms, too! I agree with you that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle!! You are TOO funny with the DONNA and DAVID thing. I read that, and started cracking up!!! LOL LOL Oh, I think George Clooney is a hotie!! It was funny, I thought the same thing after I wrote "my column" haha. PO5 is Party of Five.

REENIE - WELCOME!!!! I'm sorry I can't help you out with either of your dilemma's. I just hope both of your girls get through it!!! +++++++ thoughts!

Hi from LisaB. The sitter got me a Mother's Day Card and had Max sign it for me. I'm always calling him a little stinker and the card said something like "I'm a little stinker, Mom, but I'm a cute one!!!!". It was adorable. She also made his handprint in plaster and put his name and the date on it. She gave me flesh colored chalk to put on the handprint to make it stand out. I was so surprised!! The field trip went well on Friday except riding 90 minutes on a school bus holding a toddler is NO fun ... especially a sleeping one!!! Max wouldn't go in some of the mazes and all as so were so many other bigger kids there (6+) but he loved petting the animals and playing with the toy tractors. He kept poking at a bunny, pushing it away from the water, and then tried to beat a chicken on the head. My little monster!!! He was really good until the VERY end, when he got tired and started fussing. I bet several other Moms and kids - including one who lives about 5 miles from me. Her son just turned 2 and she has a 1-month old named Max!!! It was nice to find out how her son has attached to Max, etc. as my Max will be right at 2 when HIS brother is born. I was surprised at the differences in all the kids (mainly 18-months to 4 years old). A 17-month old was probably the most talkative kid there!!! Yesterday we went out to lunch for Mother's Day and DH planted a new flower bed for me. He felt bad because he forgot to buy me a card but I really didn't care ... Max was EXTRA sweet all day! My Mom also sent me a card telling me how proud of me she was that really brighten my day (of course, I found out yesterday that it may just be a lack of pride in my younger sis that prompted the card ... my sis was visiting and "helped" herself to one of Mom's checks and wrote it out for $50, forging Mom's name on the check - just the latest of her little "misdeeds").

MOE: I thought of you the other night. I was laying down with Max and he kicked me, REALLY hard, right in the nose. Have him and AJ been talking again behind our backs?!

LEE: I was wondering how your pg friend you posted about at PT is doing.

HELEN: I thought some of Marie Osmond's kids were adopted and at least one boy is from her first marriage.

ALICE: The calendar countdown until Nathan's birthday is a GREAT idea!!!

JULIANNE: YEAH on Colton going down the slide sitting on a truck - WHAT a sight!!! I can't even get Max to go down a slide completely by himself yet!!

THERESSA: I'm glad Marcus likes his bike. I got Max a big wheels at a rummage sale but he refuses to use the pedals. He stands astride it and carries it all over the house!!!! We got a wagon at the nursery last weekend to put our selections in - Max didn't want to ride in it but tried to push it EVERYWHERE (including into people, the stands the plants were on, etc.!).

BETH: I think we all have a fear of us or our DHs dying early. Allison sounds adorable wearing training pants over her diaper!!!

JENNI: Max also likes to kiss mirrors, but I never have gotten a picture of it. Saturday night when Max gave me his after-bath "naked baby" hug he head butted me right in the throat. It took my breath away - it hurt so bad I started crying and couldn't talk normally for about 15 minutes. Poor Max was all upset, seeing me cry.

PAULA: Do you paint as a hobby or were you painting the house? I hope Caelen won't have to be circumcised as I'm sure it'll be harder on him since he's older. The poor little guy.

MARYANN: I generally only post from work. At home I'm too busy enjoying my family, cleaning house, etc. to post!!! I don't think the "mom effect" happens until after the kids all move out - LOL!!! I agree that small birthday parties (especially the first one) are the best!!! The tulip festival sounds like fun.

SARAH: I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. I hope things work out well for her and Julian. No, I haven't watched ER yet ... but I did watch the prior 2 I had on tape this weekend!!!!

RITA: I'm sorry Maddy was sick and your movie was ruined. I hope Amy's teeth come in quickly.

MORIAH: Thanks for letting us know Alex's surgery was postponed.

CHRISTINA: I'm sorry Lys has been sick. Actually I kinda like NOT having any good series on TV, as I need to be spending time doing more productive things then watching the boob tube - LOL!!!

MOE: How great of you, raising your niece for a year!!

HELEN: I used to watch the Donnie & Marie show also. I had the BIGGEST crunch on Donnie! I even had several of their albums (and Shawn Cassidy!!!).

JAMIE: YEAH for having your family back for the summer!!

ALICE: OOPS - Nathan may be crawling all over the car now that he can undo the seatbelts.

REENIE: Welcome!!! My nephew had to wear pullups until he was 5-6 as he couldn't go all night without wetting the bed. I know I personally wet the bed until I was around 7. I would try not to worry about it - just limit Jessie's fluids in the evening and have her go potty before she goes to bed. I'm sorry for your problems with Tori; please keep us posted as you learn more.

PAULA: I hope you guys all GET and STAY healthy soon!!! We took Max to the ER once (for croop). You feel kinda silly when it ends up being no big deal but I figure better safe than sorry, especially when they are so young!!

MARTHA: Welcome back!! I'm glad MOST of your flights went well!!!

CHARLINE: I'm glad Hayden's diaper rash is gone.

SARAH: I look forward to new pictures of Hannah!!!

Hi and Happy Belated Moms' Day from Sue and Cameron. Looks like most of you had a nice day - as did we. The weekend flew by. DH had to work all day Saturday, so Cam and I headed to RI to hook up with both my sisters and my mom. We gave my mom a mother's ring that she LOVED. It was a bit small, so I have to bring it to be resized, but she was thrilled anyways.

Cameron had a blast. On Saturday, we walked up the road to where he got a kick out of seeing the ponies and riding on his gramma's shoulders. He slept really good - even through a SCARY thunderstorm. We went to the beach yesterday a.m. and he loved playing in the sand. He filled up a pail with rocks and was so mad when he couldn't pick it up. Hell, I could barely lift it myself!

When we got home around lunchtime yesterday, DH had bought some flowers to plant and had done a couple of projects I'd been nagging him about. The weather was gorgeous, so we just cooked out on the grill and called it a day.

I see from the posts that we have a number of Elmo fans out there. Add Cam to the list! He screams (Mo, Mo, Mo!) every morning when Sesame Street comes on.

REENIE - welcome! Sorry I can't help you with either of your questions, but I'm sure somebody here can give you some insight.

MORIAH - sorry Alex's surgery had to be postponed. We did have Cam circumsized as a newborn - even though DH's grandmother told us we'd be "butchering" him if we did. I don't know if he would ever had had a problem, but I feel like it's one less thing to worry about. I'm sure they'll be happy to give him something for discomfort too if you decide to go ahead. Cam's penis looked sore and red for only a couple of days but cleared right up after that.

HELEN - didn't have a chance to say "thanks" for the pics of you and Amanda last week!

Gotta run. Catch up more later!

Hello, everyone. My name is Jenna. I post on preschoolers today, but I thought I'd like to find some mommies with babies the same age as my middle child. I have a 5 year-old son, Kirk; a 17 month-old son, Aaron; and a 5 1/2 month-old daughter, Anne. Aaron is a walking, talking bundle of energy. He wants to be like his big brother and he loves to take care of his little sister. He's a beautiful blond boy and he loves everyone. Right now our biggest problem with Aaron is the fact that no car seat can hold him, we call him our teeny houdini. Next is that he is the most accident prone person I know. We have blood shed at least once a week! Well, I just wanted to tell you a little about "us" and next time I'll try some personals. Thanks

Moe and AJ here! Hope you all had a Happy Mother's Day. It was Okay for me I guess. DH was out playing ball, so I ate at my mothers. I had AJ repeat after me, he said "Happy Mommy Yeah!!" He did not quite get the "Day" But I liked the way he said it!! Also it was graduation for our high school yesterday, so I took AJ to an after party. He was quite the flirt. He would run up to some of my cousins high school friends and say "HA" really flirty-like. They thought he was the cutiest thing. It was funny.

Helen - AJ says "dum" too!

Jamie - I am tired just reading about what you will be doing!

Alice - Depends!! You are too much!! Are you telling me that you act like a 23 year old or look like one!! LOL What is BTW? Do I want to know??

Reenie - Welcome

Lee - I thought my Boogie Boy was bad! LOL My son uses a cream for his exzema. He has been really bad this week, and he doesn't eat eggs!

Charline - I have problem with AJ eating my dogs food!!

Sarah - How sweet that Hanah is so loving. AJ, believe or not, on Saturday was very nice to me. His brother spent the night at his aunts, so he was not irritated by him, so he was nice to me.

Jenni - I think DH kisses the mirror when I am not around!! AJ did kiss himself in the stove reflection!!

Lisa B - Did you draw blood? AJ had on his boxing glove last night and belted me in the lip and it started to bleed!! He took me off guard, I did not see it coming. Did you ever get those pictures???

Well everyone have a good night. I have my last meeting today with my group. Cook Out!! DH is going to have to fend for himself and the boys. I guess I'll take McDonalds!! : )

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. I had a nice Mother's Day. DH, Hayden, & Teddy(our dog) sent me beautiful flowers. Hayden and I played outside. He was giggling and chasing after the bubbles that I was blowing. It was a nice relaxing day:)

Alice-It sounds like you had a great ladies night out.

Paula-Yeah for Caelen lasting for over 3 hours at Costco and Home Depot without a tantrum!

Sarah-It does sound like you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Hannah does sound like a little angel:)

Jenni-I have a question for you. Does Nicholas still drink from a bottle? If so, was it hard to wean him from the bottle? I'm starting to wean Hayden, but he loves his bottle so much that he won't drink that much milk anywhere but the bottle right now.

LisaB-That was such a great gift that Max's babysitter made with him. It sounds like the field trip went very well. It sounds like Max gave his mommy a nice gift by being extra sweet all day:)

Tara-What a great way to spend Mother's Day with a barbaque in the park.

Sue-The beach sounds nice. Too cute about Cam trying to lift the bucket filled with rocks.

Jenna-Welcome!

Moe-AJ sounds so cute saying Happy Mother's Yeah! He sounds like he is a little flirt:) So, AJ tries to eat the dog's food also.

Have a nice night everyone.

Hi! It's Martha. Mary Beth is at a neat age. She's way more challanging for me, but I love to watch her try to figure things out, and hear her babble. While she can be fussy at times, the simplest things will make her smile and laugh. We are still struggling with table food and I try different grown-up things but I don't force it. Yesterday she tried to figure out the buckle on her booster seat. She played with it for at least 10 minutes and had the 3 prongs inserted but not in all the way. She knows how the baby gate works, but fortunately does not have the strength to open it. She tries putting her shoes and socks on and brushing her hair but it will be a while before she suceeds. She just started walking on May 5th at nearly 14 months. Today for the first time, when she was a little fussy, I walked towards her with my arms open stooped to her level and she walked into my arms and hugged me. Well, enough bragging from me. I'm about to make myself gag! LOL.

This weekend, DH replaced the valve on our upstairs toilet. The toilet started to malfunction a week before we left on our trip and we had no time to figure out what to do. It was such a drag. Well, once he replaced the valve, the darn thing kept running and running so today I bought a new plug thing and installed it myself. I am so proud b/c the toilet now works wonderfully! This is big for us b/c we are the most UNhandy people ever brought together in marriage. We seriously considered calling a plumber to replace the valve. Woohoo!

Ok, does anyone else's toddler really fight getting a new diaper? Even when it is extremely poopy, she carries on like it is the end of the world! She also likes to drop her sippy cup over the side of her high chair. Has anyone else's toddler done this and outgrown it? It is so tedious picking it up over and over.

Charline - glad to hear that Hayden's rash is cleared up. Those doggone teeth! Mary Beth teethed for nearly two months before one popped through. I think she is perpetually teething b/c her fingers go in her mouth whenever something doesn't work out her way. Poor Teddy and his added pounds. I was just thinking about how DH and I have both added a couple extra pounds since Mary Beth. We used to exercise together now we have to take turns.

BTW, I love Elmo, myself. I think he is adorable and lovable. Mary Beth has not gotten into any of the characters, but I look forward to when she does - even Barney.

Alice - that girls' night out with your mom and sisters sounds wonderful! Hope you enjoyed it.

Paula - how did the wallpaper boarder go? Did you do it by yourself? I wouldn't even attempt it by myself.

Sarah - those season passes to Elitch's sounds great! Can Hannah go on the rides? I went to Elitch's once probably 15 years ago with my sister who now lives in Westminster. Hannah sounds like a doll! Is she always so good? I think Mary Beth is sweet-natured overall, but she is not always so good. Like in church - good grief she is a handful. Lately, DH has had to take her out every time. We may have to start sitting in the crying room. Glad you had a good mother's day with the family.

Jenni - glad you had a nice visit with your mom. Isn't it fun to watch our toddlers dance? It amazes me sometimes how she can keep the beat.

Lisa B - yeah for the fun field trip! The hand imprint sounds neat. I would love to do that with MB. I hear you about the TV. It's actually a relief when the season finalies are over, and there is nothing competing with my time in the evenings. I love to become absorbed in a good book and read in the evenings.

Tara - July 24th will be here before you know it! It is nice to have a set date so that you can make arrangements for childcare for Adriana, and hopefully your DH can be home, too.

Sue - yea for DH getting some projects done around the house - that is a terrific Mother's Day present. Glad your trip to RI went well and Cameron enjoyed himself.

Jenna - I don't know what I would do about Aaron and his escape tactics. Perhaps there is a gadget you can buy that will "kidproof" the car seat buckle. I get the "One Step Ahead" catalog in the mail. Hopefully one of these ladies will have an idea for you; it is pretty serious that he stay locked into his seat. As far as his boo-boos go, I guess you know a lot about first aid - something I know little about. Poor guy. I guess it goes with the territory. That is neat that he is so sweet towards his little sister.

Michelle - where are you?

Moriah - Hope Alex feels better soon and you guys can get that surgery done and behind you. Yeah for the new bedroom for Alex. Sounds like things are going well, overall.

Take care, everyone!

Hayley here - I've been so crazed with travel/work/family stuff I haven't read the posts or posted in 2 weeks. Mostly good, some bad stuff.

DH's grandmother (who turns 100 on Saturday) broke her femur in her nursing home last week. The Drs basically told us this was it, but she made it through the surgery (14 pins - yikes). It's such a shame that she's still hanging on, as she has almost no quality of life, and it's killing my DH's father - he's just exhausted, and completely depressing my DH, who has this big fear of death and the dying. Not having any grandparents/parents alive myself, I guess it's not as difficult for me - plus she's not my blood relative. It's interesting that we were about to throw her a 100th b-day party too - she always hated her b'day and lied about her age! It's interesting how she's pretty much catatonic, but her eyes flutter and open when Becca speaks to her. So we've been doing lots of hospital visits lately.

Before all this happened, we had a great time in Las Vegas - now a great town for kids, interesting enough! We took Becca to see the lions at the MGM grand and fountains at the Bellagio. Getting a sitter was a piece of cake, and cheaper than in San Francisco - DH and I got a couple adult dinners/shows in in the evenings! Also took Becca in the pool - her screams could be heard throughout Nevada! Left DH there to finish up his biz trip.

Just had her 18 mos. checkup - 75th percentile for height/weight, almost 27 lbs. Dr. said "does she always talk this much?" LOL!!!

Helen & Amanda - thanks for the pics!

Kahne - You go girl - congrats on nursing school!

Hi! It's Martha again. I just had to respond to a few posts.

Moe - AJ sounds so cute saying "happy mom yeah!" What a ham being so flirtatious at the party. He certainly knows what to do. BTW means by the way - a handy little abbreviation. Ouch on the lip! Mary Beth can also be a little rough if I am not careful.

Charline - Mary Beth kept going after the cat food. She must have thought it was a buffet set out just for her. So we put the food in the basement. Poor kitty has to shinny underneath the baby gate to get to her food. She can just barely manage it. About weaning from the bottle - I read somewhere to water down the milk in the bottle and give Hayden the non-watered down milk in a cup. He will start preferring the good stuff in the cup. Maybe water it down gradually so that it does not upset him. I also have several different kinds of sippy cups b/c I kept trying to find one she would drink out of. She really likes the Gerber ones that are shaped like an hourglass. I love them b/c they are spill proof. One thing I did do was add a little sugar and vanilla extract to the milk in the cup to get her to drink it and then I cut back on the sugar and vanilla until it was plain milk. Good luck!

Hayley - how sad about DH's grandmother. It is so wonderful that you can take Becca to visit. I am sure it adds joy to her day even if it does not show much. We talked about going to Las Vegas but I was reluctant b/c I did not think it would be good for a child. Good to know that it is a fun place for kids. How interesting that you hired a babysitter when you were there. I would have loved to have had a relaxing meal a couple times on our last trip with just DH and me. How funny that Becca was a chatterbox for the Dr.

Ok, that's it for me for tonight, I promise!! Take care everyone!

Hi mommies. Remember me? It's Patty and it's been five days since I've posted! I am so busy right now and I hate it! I've also been really stressed out and I didn't want to complain too much on here. Jaime and I are having big time arguments. The latest - she wanted to spend the night with one of her friends in a hotel room because her friend was babysitting her sister and all of her friends for her birthday party. And, NO parents. Of course I said no and that resulted in a huge fight with too many things said. DH is still acting all neglected, school sucks, and to top it all off I hate the worst knots in my neck that I can't even turn my head! I took today off and went to the chiropractor (never been to one before), then to the dentist, and to the doctor. He changed my meds, so I hope that helps. All weekend, it was all I could do to even get out of bed. If it weren't for Jesse and Jarin, I swear I'd have lost my mind by now. Good thing my sweet boys keep me going. =)

Ok, after five days I'm going to totally skim, so I hope I didn't miss anything big.

**Moe: What is with you and getting hit in the face? LOL. Jarin Always asks me for pop. He loves Sprite. =) Uh-oh girl, all day Kindergarten? Don't get me started. LOL at you sending Jalen to a private school when you work for the school system.
**Charline: Wow - 4 new teeth. Guess that explains the grouchiness, huh?
**Julianne: That will be neat to be able to check on Colton via the Internet. LOL at his attitude when he says "sorry". Hope that doesn't last! =) I can just picture Colton going down the slide on a toy truck. Boy, that kid is going to have a great imagination! =) Happy 7th Anniversary!
**Christi: Hi stranger! Yay for Caleb doing so well in the big bed. I'm afraid to even try with Jarin. He'd be out every ten seconds.
**Paula: Poor little Caelen! I hope his little pee-pee is ok. I had Jarin circumcised because his daddy and brother are, but God, that is the worst feeling when you sign that paper to have your baby suffer like that! I hope Kyla and DH (and his toe) are all ok now too.
**Paris: I know, I am so bad about logging on. I always forget I have that until I'm about to log off! That's great that you are willing to take in DH's nephew. I hope that works out for the best for all of you. =)
**Jenni: Yay for Nicholas working on those walking skills! I don't know what will happen with the new girl. I sent the letter through the mail on Friday because it mysteriously disappeared from her bookbag the first two times I sent it home. So who knows???? So adorable - kissing his naked little self in the mirror. That picture will be priceless.
**Lee: Gees!!! I hope by now (since I'm so far behind!) that both Gabby and Hunter are feeling better. Poor little things - exzema and a sprained ankle all at once! Thanks for the Teacher Appreciation wishes. I celebrated today by taking off. LOL LOL LOL
**Darleen: Congrats on the new job. It sounds perfect - 1/2 days and you get to take Nolan! =)
**Sarah: I taped ER last week for Carol's last night and I still haven't watched it. You're in trouble now if Hannah is repeating everything!! LOL at you having a potty mouth - I tend to be the same way, especially when I get pissed, oops, I mean mad about something. Your poor cousin - I hope everything works out ok. How sad for her at a time like this to have to think about possibly going to work and leaving her baby. I'm sure that's the LAST thing she needs.
**LisaB: LOL at Max being ornery at school. I highly doubt it since he'll know his parents won't be too pleased if he gets into trouble. Too cute how much he enjoyed the new Elmo books.
**Kahne: Congrats on getting into nursing school! Yay for you! =)
**Alice: Too funny that Nathan is so excited about his birthday. Well, can you blame him? surely it will look like Toys 'r Us at your house afterwards, won't it? Knots Landing used to be my favorite show too!!!!! Ok, I am totally losing it at you and your comments about Donna and David! =)
**Beth: Hi stranger! Gees, you are making ME worried about dying. Stop thinking about that! That's great that Allison is doing so well with the potty training again. Too cute with her wearing the underwear over her diaper. =) Yes, I am DEFINITELY glad that summer is almost here. I can't wait. We still have almost a month though since we don't get out until June 13th. =(
** Moriah: Shopping for a penny? Now that's my kind of shopping. =)
**Christina: I hope by now Lys is feeling better!
**Helen: Your pool sounds great. =) I love picturing Amanda stealing gum. Too cute. =) Thanks for the pictures!!!
**Jamie; Yay for you and DH taking a break from school for the summer. Sounds like you will be plenty busy!
**Reenie: welcome to you and your daughters. I don't have any advice for you, but it sounds pretty scary. I hope everything works out ok.
**Jenna: Welcome.

Well, girls, sounds like you all had a good Mother's Day. Other than the blow-out with Jaime, mine was ok. I was still feeling pretty depressed and didn't want to get out of bed. DH and Jarin got me cards and a gift certificate to get my hair done. Jaime gave me a flower and a card, and Jesse made me a card and his teacher made a cookbook out of all the recipes each child brought in.

Speaking of prayers: if you guys remember me talking about Amy (in jesse's class) - she just finished a second round of chemotherapy. The first round shrunk the tumor but not enough, so they did another. She will be having a third round at the beginning of June and then they are hoping the tumor has shrunk enough that they can remove it. We saw her at the hospital last Thursday. She is doing ok, but is feeling a little down. I can't blame her, but she is always so optimistic and outgoing and she was pretty quiet. So, keep her and her family in your prayers too.

Jarin and Jesse got haircuts today. My baby looks so old! =(

A big hello to all! Lee here.
I see that alot of us have kids that love Elmo. Hunter is especially lucky in the fact that DH's middle name is Elmo. NO kidding.LOL So he gets down on the floor and the kids jump on him and he starts laughing and shaking like Elmo.LOL So weird because he sounds just like Elmo. The kids say we have the real Elmo. Too funny to me!!! Mother's day was WONDERFUL!!!! I thought it was Christmas at my house. The kids made presents and cards for me(and they're better than ANYTHING store bought) DH got me an exotic plant and a hanging basket. The men of our church cooked breakfast for the moms. And with DH being a chef he had fun. My kids sang in front of church for the moms. Anyway, I could go on and on , but I won't put ya'll to sleep LOL
On to personals:
HAYLEY: Sorry to hear about DH's grandmother. I have 2 G-pas who are dying so my prayers will be with you guys!!! Way to go Becca on 75%. Yeah!!
MARTHA: Way to go on fixing your toliet!! Yes my Hunter also acts like it's the end of the world to have his diaper changed! He would live nakie if I let him.LOL About the sippy cup, My advice (and it's only meant positively) is don't give the cup back. She is already learning actions get consequences. This worked wonderfully for Hunter at this age. When he dropped his cup more than three times we took it and wouldn't give it back except to take a sip and we took it right back. He learned quickly. This is something I've done with all 4 of my kids. But all kids are not the same so I hope you find something that works for you.
CHARLINE: Glad you had a wonderful Mothers day. My parents have a dog named Teddy too.
MOE: I'm glad my boogie boy can make you laugh. Another notch on his ladies belt. LOLOL Hunter also got a cream. And I'm glad because I can't sit back and watch his whole personality change b/c of a medicine. Glad you had a good Moms day!!
JENNA: WELCOME!! Hope you find this board as refreshing as I do!!I have a 2.5 yr. old boy who also refuses to stay buckled. Thank GOD for his older siblings who can help us keep buckleing (sp) him in.Hopefully, we can find an ans. to the "teenie houdini" problem. I love that phrase LOLOL!!!
SUE: Good for you having a great Mothers Day. Sounds like we spent our afternoons almost the same way. Too cool.
TARA: I'm glad you had a good Mothers Day as well!!!!
JENNIE: I never thought of it that way "laugh or stock up on dollars" LOLOL alot!!!! Too funny. You have a nudiest too, maybe they have a baby nudiest colony LOL Iread what you posted about pulling the pee-pee. I had to ask DH about Hunter pulling on his. It looks painful to me, but DH says it feels good. GO FIGURE!! It looks to me that if he pulls too hard one of these times POP off it'll come in his hand! LOLOL
SARAH: way to go on the season passes!! I hear you about the few hours to yourself. I didn't get that present untill about 11pm. But it was worth the wait.LOL
PAULA: Way to go: NO temper tantrums!! Come visit me and have Caelen show Hunter how to do that.LOL Happy Belated Mothers Day!!
ALICE: NO the dr. didn't tell me about the foods. So I thank you for the advice!! I don't think Hunter will be too thankful though LOL Eggs are his favorite food (with ketsup) yuck.
LisaB: I'm so glad you had a WONDERFUL Mothers Day!! About Michelle (my friend) we think she's going to keep the baby!! Yeah. But having been a nurse for 10 yrs. She has really been trying to get her diabetes under control. She also went to see a genetics dr. to get some tests run to make sure everything is okay. She's 10 weeks preg. now. There are alot of things that can go wrong when you have diabetes and you get preg. w/out having it under control. And I was wrong about the name of the prob. with Marrisa. It's called Potters Syndrome. I've got to go for now but I will fill you in soon.
Thanks for listening ladies talk to you tomorrow.LEE

Hi, Romaine here- I survrived!!

I got out a day earlier than expected and seem to be healing really well. Saba had a blast w/ her grandparents this past week!

I am not allowed to lift though which is hard w/ an 8 month old. Ils left today and Dh is on afternoons, so he is here during the day. I have hired a sitter to be w/ me in the evening to help me deal w/ the girls. They are having such a good time w/ her! She is excellent w/ the girls!!

My parents and g-ma are to arrive on Wed., so I will need the extra help only until then. I hope that I will be allowed to lift next week! I had told work that I would be back, but the doctor said to go back the week after.

I feel mostly normal, but end up exhausted and sore if I dod not rest. I have over-done things in the last 2 days. I have to remind myself that It will take time for the insides to heal as well!!

DD2 is on her way now! As of yesterday, she is officilly on the move (I don't know what to call her method!)> She has been on the move for 2 months, but was not aware. She TOTALLY knows that she can get places now! She also pulled up and stood freely for 2 seconds! Man I am in trouble w/ her! (She is 8 months).

Saba peed 3 times this week in her potty!!!!! NOW are we on the way????? She does it on bath nights!

I am sorry that I do not have personals, it took a LONG time to get to the bottom as it was!! Hello to you all!

OH! How can I forget!? Leanne called tonight to tell me that she is in labour!!!! Yesterday was her earliest due-date. All that bed-rest for nothing?

I'll let you know what happens!!

Hi from Rita

I had class today and had no access to a computer. Mother's Day was a bust at our house since it rained and I was sick. Now I am better and DH is sick. I did get to go on a scrapbooking spree on Saturday and got a mini rose bush that I have been wanting for a while. The picnic will have to wait for aonther day.

Patti - Re-read the beginning of your entry - it sounds like you are in the confessional: My name is---- and it has been five days since I last posted.
(This will only make sense to the Catholics)I hope that things settle down with Jamie soon.

Paula - I do have sympathy for your DH. I broke my big toe while I was on vacation in the UK and had to limp through most of the trip. Didn't find out how badly I broke it until I came home. It took months for it to heal properly and allow me to get back into fencing. I joke that my broken toe is the only way that Larry "caught" me, since he let me stay at his place for the week that I had to stay off of it. Actually, his care and concern were very obvious and the rest, as they say, is history.

Sorry this is short, but I have a screaming three year old to tuck in. Take care everyone!

Hi! Sarah g here.
Oh my goodness- Isaac turned three yesterday!!!! The kids spent Fri. night and all day Sat with their dad. Had a nice party w/o me IL-style. We had a small party with my family here on Sun. Isaac picked the menu: homemade macaroni and cheese, watermelon, zucchini from the garden and spinach salad from the garden. He wasn't too excited about the veggies, however. He had a great time and seems to be adjusting to the idea of two homes for his parents. So, Isaac's off to the Preschooler's board :( so glad I've got Sofie to talk about over here with you all!!!!

Charline- Thanks again for pics!!

Romaine- Glad you're doing well! Don't over do it. Good thoughts for Leanne to have a wonderful labor and birth :)

Haley- My grandma passed away from cancr a month ago and she suffered horribly in the end, but it was just a miracle the way she responded to my kids. Sofie, still being so little, had the empathy of an angel for my grandma. I hope all goes well for you and your family. It's great to bring the very young and the very old together.

Moriah- Hope Alex is doing well! I took up your suggestion and went to babystyle.com. Oh what a deal!! Thanks for the tip :)

Well, ladies, I only skimmed, so that's all I've got from memory...... Good night!

It is such a battle with her. She's been doing that for about 6 months now!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!! Congrats on fixing the toilet. Yep, HANNAH should be able to ride some of the rides in Kiddyland, plus there's a waterpark there now. And BTW, NO!!! HANNAH is not always that good!!!

HAYLEY - Sorry to hear about your DH's grandma. It's sweet to hear how BECCA lights her up, though. :) We are going to try and go to Vegas in July, without HANNAH!!!!!

Just hang in there and stick to your guns...my mom was always in my business, and back then it really pissed me off, and today SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND!!!! Thanks for the nice thoughts of ERIN! I'll keep AMY in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi from LisaB. Does anyone remember Candance, Tanner's mom? She posted at Pregnancy Today a few days ago. She's about 11 weeks pg and is understandably nervous as she had several miscarriages before she had Tanner.

SARAH: Thanks for the e-card!!!!

TARA: Will DH be able to stick around home on your scheduled c-section date and for a while afterwards? I'm sure it's hard with him having to be gone so much.

SUE: It sounds like Cam had a GREAT weekend. He sounds adorable with his pail of rocks!! One of Max's fav words is Mel-Mo (i.e., Elmo). I think he said Grandma this weekend also, as we drove my MIL's house (he only said it once so I'm not sure ... plus he usually says "mamamama" when he sees her). My older sister told me that circumsicision is a form of genital mutalation when he had Max done. Don't you love the way SOME people can't accept the fact that you may think differently than them and just shut up and respect your opinions?

JENNA: Welcome!!!! You sound busy with your 3 kids. I was 14 when my brother was born and he was accident prone - he always had a cut or bruise somewhere (generally on his face - just before he got pictures taken). Once when just the 2 of us were home he slammed his hand in the car door and it was bleeding like crazy - so here I was with a hysterical kid trying to calm him down, access the damage, and decide what to do!!! The good thing is that now that I'm a mother I take all Max's little accidents in stride versus getting hysterical. LOL!!!!

MOE: Darn, I KNEW I forgot something this weekend ... checking my e-mail at home. I rarely get anything on it and I was so busy I didn't even get on the computer. I'll be sure to check for your pictures this weekend (we don't have local access and the phone lines are bad so it takes FOREVER to download pictures ... so I only do that on the weekends, when I get unlimited long distance under my calling plan). YEAH for the "Happy Mothers Day" from AJ; I bet you just melted. He may beat up on you a lot but he IS a sweetie!!! Fortunately Max hasn't caused me to bleed yet.

CHARLINE: I'm glad you had such a nice Mother's Day!!

MARTHA: I'm glad you've rejoined our group!!! Mary Beth is growing up quick, isn't she? Max has gone through phases of hating diaper changes and then he's ok again for awhile. Right now he screams the entire time as he wants to flip over and wave his naked butt in the air!!! And he also tries to stick his hands in poopy diapers - GROSS!!!

HAYLEY: It's great that you take Becca to see DH's g-ma!!

PATTY: I was wondering where you were at. I hope things improve with Jaime before long - but also realize she's at that difficult age where Mom is just about the stupidist person on the face of the earth. I'm sure she's probably also making the "I'm not going to make the same mistakes YOU did at my age" comments, that must be extremely hurtful. Try to keep your chin up and vent here all you want; we all feel for you. At least school will be over soon and you'll have a break for awhile. I hope the adjustment to your meds help. Thanks for the update on Amy.

LEE: DH sounds hilarious with his Elmo imitation!!! We do the same with Max - if he throws something off his high chair it stays on the floor until he's finished eating.

ROMAINE: I'm glad your surgery went well!!! I'm sure it's hard not being able to lift your baby. Thanks for the Leanne update. Everyone at PT has been wondering about her so I'll have to post an update (unless you already have!!!).

RITA: I hope you and Larry are both 100% again soon.

SarahG: Happy belated birthday to Isaac.

Hey, me again.
I wanted to respond to LISA's post:

LISA - Isn't that great about CANDANCE??? I've known for about 6 weeks now, but she asked me not to say anything just because of her being nervous about it (like you said). She has an appt today, and will possibly hear the heartbeat!! :)

OK, that's it for me.

Katy here

Hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day. DH took me out to breakfast, it was wonderful.

Liam has started the terrible two's early, I think. Lately he's been getting really frustrated at the tiniest thing. And he's starting to hit. Boy it makes me want to push the fast forward button somedays. But then he has moments like yesterday when he was fun and playful and giving me lots of kisses. Anyone else experiencing this?
Well got to head to class. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning ladies. Sue and Cam checking in. Twice in two days - a miracle! Not much going on here with us except that Cam had a "word explosion" yesterday. Until now, he's only said a handful of words, but came out with about 6 new ones all in one day. I haven't yet decided which is more aggravating: having him grunt at me or yelling "More! More! More!" LOL.

DH and I are in for a fun weekend. We are going with 3 other couples to Poland Spring, ME (I'll wave to Birdie on my way up the turnpike!). Yes, there really is such a place! There isn't a whole lot to do there, but that's the point. They have a nice golf course that the guys take advantage of on Saturday while we girls head for the outlets in Freeport (LL Bean, Carters, Osh Kosh, etc.). I'll definately be broke by the time we come home. Nothing to do at night besides play pool, shoot darts, and drink. Last year I had a terrible case of the "flu too many" on the drive home. LOL! Cam will staying with my in-laws so he should have fun getting spoiled there too.

CHARLINE - I had Cam down to just taking a bottle before bed and got him off of that just about 3-4 weeks ago. I gave him a spillproof Playtex sippy cup that he kind of has to suck on and had no problem with him. I think it was more traumatic for me!

MOE - Cameron is a cat food lover as well. I think Meow Mix is his favorite brand, although some Friskies will do in a pinch!

MARTHA - Cam fights having his diaper changed to. I've tried all kinds of tactics to distract him, but nothing works. It's so maddening! He also liked tossing his cup over the side of his high chair, but we now have a system. I'll pick it up for him two times, then it's gone for good. Seemed to have taken the fun out of it for him as he rarely does it anymore. LOL at you and DH being the most UNhandy couple brought together by marriage. DH and I are both very handy - we've renovated our old house all by ourselves (wiring, plumbing, walls, you name it!). Grabbing a crow bar and smashing walls down can be quite therapeutic!

Hope everyone is having as beautiful a day as we are here. Might have to go for a walk and soak up some sunshine at lunch. Enjoy your afternoons!

Hello, ladies. Jenna here. Aaron is taking his daily 3 hour nap and I am having my easy time. God bless him for being a good napper.

And onto personals. . .

Moe-How cute AJ is. That sounds like cheer. "Happy Mommy! Yah!"

Charline-I love getting flowers.. How sweet that Hayden and Teddy chipped in, too.

Martha-Go you! I am not handy either. It feels so good to do something yourself.

Hayley-My great g-ma died at 96. She was nearly blind, deaf, and crippled. It was sad to us that she lived as long as she did. She was so miserable.

Patty-Good luck with Jamie.

Lee-How fun. My Church does breakfast for mom's too.

Romaine-Saba is such a big girl.

Rita-Sorry Mom's day didn't work out. Maybe next year, huh?

Sarah g-I'm glad Isaac is doing well. Happpy B-day to him.

Sarah-Aaron talks constantly! He doeesn't say much, but he is always talking.

Lisa B-That's me. I don't get too worried about that anymore. I just love on him until he feels better.

Katy-Aaron is terribly sweet, but for some reason he bites my father. Aaron will give g-pa a kiss and hug and then a bite. Go figure.

Hi mommies. I'm on my way home from work to see my angel. Thanks for all the nice thoughts. You guys are the best.
**Lee: Add Jarin to the list of Elmo lovers. He has a Rock & Roll Elmo and he LOVES it! Too funny that your kids have the real Elmo. Jarin is also a nakie fan, and a fan of pulling on his pee-pee. It's so funny because Jesse watches him do it and says "Ouch!"
**Romaine: I'm glad you are doing so well. Sounds like you have lots of help. Make sure to take care of yourself. Yay for Saba peeing on the potty and for Mya being on the move. Let us know about Leanne as soon as you hear anything. =)
**Rita: LOL at the confessional. Yes, will you please be my priest? LOL Hope you are all feeling better at your house soon.
**Sarahg: Happy Birthday to Isaac! Thanks for the continued prayers for Amy.
**Sarah: Jarin talks constantly too, except only he knows what he is saying. LOL. I love to hearhis little voice though, it is so sweet. I'm glad to hear you went through this with your mom and now get along. I never had an attitude with my mom so it's hard for me to understand. Thanks for the thoughts for Amy.
**LisaB: Glad to hear Candance ended up on PT. She and I email each other about every other day. I'm sure it will help her to get some advice from you guys. Thanks for the ++ comments. I know this is a Toddler board, so I try not to vent too much about my teenager. I went to the teenager today momstalk once, but everyone was talking about how great thier teen was. I definitely didn't need to hear that! LOL
**Sue: Have a fun week-end.
**Jenna: Jarin is also a good napper. Isn't that afternoon free time great?
**Have a great day.

Hello all you moms and tots, Christina here. Gosh, I have been so busy, have not had a moment for anything except work, Lys and cleaning, laundry and running around! This weekend was nice. We had the BF's parents over for dinner Friday, Saturday we spent the day with Lys and then went to dinner and then went to the bar to do some dancing! Sunday, went to brunch with the family - really nice one at the Holiday Inn and just ate soo much, Lys had her day where she wanted to eat off her fingers so oh-well, it was cute! =) She made me a present at daycare: They gave every toddler a peice of ceremic tile and wrote Happy mothers day at the top and then she put her hand prints on in red paint and then signed it, then they wrapped in construction paper and made me this cute card with a flower on the front of it. I almost cried because it was the best gift! Then we went out to dinner with the BF for pizza and then to his parents and then finally home!! Long day no kidding!!!

I have not had a free moment to check the posts, so I will start fresh tomorrow, sorry!

Lys is feeling much better and she is talking and talking and talking all the time, but she is so cute and so intelligent for her age. She gave me this big huge hug on Sunday and just kept giving me kisses, It was too cute.

Helen: Thank you for the pics, she is too cute and she has the blonde hair and blue eyes just like my Lys. :)

Well off to lunch and then back to work and then working tonight 5:30 to 10:30pm!! I am a walking zombie these days!

I'll try to check in later before I leave for job #2.

Have a good one everyone!!!

Hayley here. Still on deathwatch for DH's grandmother - they took her off her feeding tubes and are transferring her back to her nursing home. So now it's just a matter of waiting. Very sad for DH and FIL - they haven't experienced a close death of family member for many years (I, on the other hand, am an old pro!)

Thank God for Becca - she's a riot and keeps us grounded! She's such a parrot, and whatever you say to her, she says "More ..." when you're done. DH and I had rewritted the Barney song with dirty words (I won't upset any of you by going into detail, but we both hate that evil purple dinosaur, and the song involves matches and gas and ends with "kicking his purple ass") So after Arnie was singing it the other day, Becca started saying "More Ass? More Ass?" Needless to say, we were a big hit at daycare! Obviously time to clean up our potty mouthes!

Hello just checking after lunch.

Haley: Hope things go smoothly for you and DH and that it does not drag on to where she is in pain. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Well unfortunlantly back to work again, I do not even have 5:00 to look forward to, cuz my 2 job starts at 5:30=(
And no less its the first day of this new job - I hate those!!

I have one issue that you maybe able to advise me on. Last week I came home and the BF's cell rang and he was laying down and answered it, well I could of sworn that he said "why are you calling me?". Well my first thought was what and who is that! Well once it bothered me for oh 3 hrs! I brought it up and he told me I was dreaming and he did not say that it was a hang up, well then I called the number that came up at the time the call came in and a girl answered! Now he does have "girl freinds", but he is always worried I am going to get mad and when this happened I told him to be honest, well to this day he denies that no one was on that call, I still have my doubts and now with this 2 job well I am alittle worried. We do have a good relationship. Maybe I am wrong and I am mistaken.??? What do you think??

Talk to you later. :)

Hi again from LisaB.

SARAH: Hey, you can't be keeping secrets from us!!!! No, really, I can understand Candance asking you not to tell. I just hope everything goes well for her. Jennifer, Adam's mom, is completely her 1st trimester (after 2 recent miscarriages) and is starting to feel more confident that everything is going to be ok.

KATY: Oh, yeah. Sometimes I literally feel like screaming as I get so aggravated with Max and the next second he's so sweet I just want to kiss him all over!!! I think they KNOW when we reach the breaking point and are smart enough to lay the charm on really thick - LOL!!! Max gets so frustated anymore - he wants to do things he can't quite physically do yet, repeats the same things over and over and gets upset when we have no clue what he's trying to tell us, etc.

SUE aka Crowbar Lady: Remind me to NEVER tick you off!!!! YEAH on the word explosion!!!

JENNA: Aaron sounds ornery, biting on g-pa!!

HELEN: Sounds you enjoyed your night out and Mother's Day!!!

PATTY: Romaine posted at PT that Leanne delivered her baby girl at 1 am!!! She was around 6 lb 6 oz if I remember correctly.

CHRISTINA: What a great gift from Lys!!!!

HAYLEY: How funny, Becca saying "more ass" at daycare!!!! All the other Mommies probably HATE you, but hey - WE love you here!!!

CHRISTINA: If YOU think your BF might have another woman on the side, you have problems - whether he does or not. You obviously did not dream that the phone rang, dreamt the number, and called the number to have some girl answer it - there are just too many ties that tie together for you to have imagined all this. Granted, he might have just said it didn't happen as you knew you be upset (even if it is just a friend). You've had enough man trouble already - you don't need this too. I would tell him that you honestly believe the phone call happened as it described it to us and that you realize it may have just been a friend versus "another woman" ... but that if he wants you to trust him, he has to tell you the truth, and when you suspect he's lying you are naturally going to suspect the worse. Best of luck.

Hello ladies, Moe here, ready to go home! It is hot in the office today. Last night I had my last party with my service group, and DH was at DS t-ball game, so I had to find someone to watch AJ. Got his SIL and when they came to pick him up, he screamed with delight went right to my BIL, not a bye-bye mama or nothing!!DH picked him up later and he cried b/c he did not want to go home!! My baby did not want to go home!!!

Charline - Your dog gave you flowers...I need to have a talk with my dog!! LOL

Martha - Good for Mary Beth learning all those things. Better hide your car keys, she make take them to go cruise!! Hey maybe I should fix our toilet, it keeps running too. DH turns of the little thingy behind the toilet so it won't run at night, that sound drives me nuts.

Haley - Vegas! My brother lives there. I will be going next year for his wedding. I would like to take my kids. Will it be okay for a 6 and 2 year old? LOL on Barney, I don't like him either!!

Patty- You did the right thing with DD. Teenagers..Scary!

Lee - Funny on DH being Elmo. You made me laugh hard on what you told Jennie about the pee-pee pulling. LOLOL

Rita - Funny what you told Patty about confessional

Sarah G - Happy Birthday Isaac

Lisa - Brother Max is a doll!!

Katy- I have a hitter too! I get slapped, hit, punched etc. I am hoping once AJ gets more verbal, he will settle down .

Sue -Too funny about the cat food. I have to watch AJ really close when we go outside the other day he picked up some dog do-do! Gross!!

Jenna - 3 hour nap. I only let AJ sleep 2 hours, if he gets more than that, he won't go to bed at night.

To everyone else!! Have a good night!

Hi again, its Christina!

Lisa: Thank you for your advise, I am going to speak with him tonight when I get home, because I cannot have my heart broken again and he'll be out the door with no where to live! I think it may have just been a freind, but you never know. He has never given me a reason not to trust him, so we'll see. Thanxs again!! :)

Hello mommies--Julianne here. Boy do I need a sanity break. I had to be to work at 5:30 am to help with safety training. I was soooo tired when I got home.

I promised myself I would change the sheets on the beds. Colton loves that--we call it "bouncy boom" time. Well, he bounced too much because just as I was pulling the covers up he puked over the clean sheets. Yuck! So now all the sheets are in the wash. So much for going to bed early.

DH & I went to the mall and TGIFridays for our anniversary. We had a really good evening together w/ lots of talking. Very nice. He gave me a basket w/ hanging vines and a potted mini rose bush.

Mothers Day started off not so well. DH begged off church as he developed a cold overnight! He promised me that if I let him sleep in he would be nice when my parents came over later to visit. I didn't even bother to debate that agreement.

When we got home from church Colton was so excited to see daddy that he ran and climbed on the bed. DH was very grouchy and growled that I wasn't keeping my side of the bargin. I tried to keep Colton out of the room, but he wanted to see DH so much.

I decided that it wasn't fair to keep yelling at Colton for wanting to see daddy so we went to the mall. There is a big treehouse w/ slides and stuff that he loves playing on. Then we rode the carousel--too long of a ride he starting crying to get down before it was done. Lunch was burgers at the mall!

We had to go to SIL's for cousin Cheyanne's 2nd b-day party. Colton was such a show off there. They chased eachother all through the house. It was great to see him having so much fun especially since he didn't have a nap all day.

I guess I shouldn't skip so many days as my post is quite long--sorry.

Sarah: So sorry to hear that things are not going so well for the twins. I will keep praying for them. Thanks for the e-mail anniversary card.

LisaB: What a great card & gift your DCP had Max do for you!

Sue: Sounds like you had a great Mothers Day. Nice of DH to do some projects and plant some flowers for you.

Jenna: Welcome.

Charline: Yeah for getting flowers.

Martha: What a proud mom! Colton too can be a monster on the changing table. He tries to grab the diaper from me and just doesn't like to sit still.

Hayley: Sorry to hear about DH's grandmother. That's great that she responds to Becca. Good check-up!

Patty: So sorry that you have been having such a rough time. I missed your posts! Hope things cool down between you and Jamie soon. Good thing your boys can cheer you up! I've been to the chiro for my back and it has really helped me. Take care and get better. I will remember Amy in my prayers too. So much for a little girl to go through.

Lee: What a great Mothers Day. I love hearing the little kids sing in front of church.

Romaine: Glad you are getting some help while you get better. Yeah for the girls having fun w/ the sitter. Keep us posted w/ any news about Leanne.

Rita: Sorry you felt sick for Mothers Day.

Sarahg: Happy 3rd Birthday to Isaac. We are glad that you are still on this board too. Keep us updated on Isaac as well as Sofie.

Helen: Too funny about Dh spending Mothers Day sick on the couch. What do you two think you are doing staying out and partying at your age!

Christina: Great gift from Lys! Sounds like you had one busy weekend. You are going to drive yourself nuts thinking about the phone call. Trust is an important part of your relationship. I would confront BF one more time and stress that he needs to be honest with you. Hope it all works out.

Time to put the sheets in the dryer.

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. One of Hayden's teeth finally broke through today! I made lasagna last night and Hayden had his first taste of it and said mmmm mmmm! Then he would open his mouth for another bite.

Martha-Congrats to Mary Beth for walking! Hayden also like to play with the buckle on his high chair and the seat belt in his carseat. Doesn't it just melt your heart when they walk to you and give you a hug:) Good for you fixing your toilet! I'm very impressed. Both of our toilets are malfunctioning right now and I just tried to help DH fix one of them. I hope that it is fixed because it has been leaking for the last week. Hayden fights me almost everytime that I change his diaper. I sometimes wonder if the neighbors think that I'm killing him in here because he screams so loud.(LoL!) Thanks for the tips about weaning from the bottle. I'll have to try them.

Hayley-Sorry to hear about your DH's grandma breaking her femur. Wow, 100 years old! That's cute that she opens up her eyes when she hear Becca. It sounds like you had a great trip. That's great that Becca did so well at her 18 month check up.

Patty-I hope that things get less stressful for you. Just know that all of your cyber buddies are hear to listen, so vent away anytime. You can also e-mail me anytime if you need to vent. I will keep Amy in my prayers. Take Care:)

Lee-Glad that you had a wonderful Mother's Day also. That's too funny that the kids think that your DH is the original Elmo.

Romaine-I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well. Now, relax and let everyone take care of you so you can recover. Yeah for Saba peeing in the potty 3 times! Congrats to Mya for pulling herself up and standing by herself!

Rita-Sorry to hear that you were sick on Mother's Day:(

SarahG.-Your welcome. Happy 3 year Birthday to Isaac!

Sarah-That's great that Hannah loves playing with her cousins. Are they around her age? Hayden doesn't have any first cousins yet.

Sue-Congrats to Cam for his 6 new words in one day! You mean I have to look forward to hearing more more instead of grunting.LOL!

Jenna-wow, 3 hour nap! Hayden still takes 2 naps. Hopefully, when he drops to one he will still be a good napper and take a 3 hour one like Aaron.

Helen-It sounds like you guys had fun on Sat. night. Hayden finally got 1 tooth today!

Christina-It sounds like you had a nice weekend. Glad to hear that Lys is feeling better. She sounds so cute giving you a big hug and lots of kisses:)

Moe-Why don't I have my dog have a little talk to your dog about getting his mommy some flowers sometime:) LOL!

Hi to everyone that I missed. Have a good night everyone!

Hello everyone from Alice & Nathan,

Not too much happening around here today so I'll go straight to personals:

SARAH - Sounds like you had a great mother's day, good for you. PO5 got it, we do get it here I used to watch it when it first came on, but I just can't seem to get into it any more. New show 3rd watch I like that show, lot of hotie's in that one.

JENNI - watch Nicholas and his little pee, pee. Don't want him pulling that off!

HELEN - Thanx for the pics of you and Amanda, what a cutie, oh yeah Amanda is too! LOL What beautiful blue eyes, she is gonna break some hearts.

MOE - BTW, By The Way, I do tend to act a little young for my age (but who cares) really I was referring to looking young. And I'm not giving away my secret, okay actually I stay looking young by laughing at you. LOL

MARTHA - Nathan used to drop his cup over the highchair and I just wouldn't pay him any attention just left it there so he stopped. BTW I love Elmo, oh yeah so does Nathan, he got me hooked on him. LOL

PATTY - Hey welcome back, I know you don't want to admit it girl, but your kids are growing up.:-)

LEE - don't they all have to have ketsup on everything, Nathan also has ketsup on kraft dinner, yuck on both. Try AVEENO baths for the itchy skin. And give Hunter Benadryl for Allergies, use at bedtime cause it might make him a little drowsy, but it helps with the itching.

ROMAINE - Good to hear from you and glad you are feeling okay.

RITA - Too funny about your comment to Patti, I didn't even get that when I read her post, LOL LOL LOL!!!

SARAG - I post on PST also, however I do like this board better, so I am a little aprehensive to let go at the beginning of next month, how about we both just stay here. :-)

CHRISTINA - Okay I am not the best person to answer the question that you were wondering about, my beleif is the BF is lying I would definitely be suspicious, sorry if it hurts you but that is what I think, I truly hope that I am wrong. I just read your last post and if you suspect him than you really don't trust him. Have a talk with him and be honest don't hold back.

LISAB - Are you a therapist on the side, your advise to Christina was right on, very good girl!

Okay I gotta go check out PST nite ladies.

Hi to everyone I missed, where the heck is Paris?

Theressa here - haven't been around much lately. I got ICQ and Paris has been IM me - so now I figure I should catch up with the rest of you!

Mothers day went great. DH cleaned the house and fixed dinner. (We would have gone out, but my folks were out of town, so I had to set irrigation water all weekend - I was beat!) I got a planter from Bryton that he made in school, then at church they gave me apotted flower that we just perfect for the planter! The kids love to take turn watering it. (Hope they don't flood it out!)

I went outside yesterday to check on the kids playing, and Marcus was on TOP of the horsetrailer. There is a ladder and platform on top for hay storage. He was paitiently waiting for me to come and get him down ("mom down please" - he is talking soooo much now!) Anyway, it gave me a scare, but he thought it was fun. I am going to have to think of some way to make it nonaccessable to him for the summer.

Well, on to personals!

JULIANNE - Sounds like moms day went ok after all. I hate it when my DH is sick - he makes such a fuss! Is your like that? You would think they are dying, but then when you get sick - LOL MEN!

MOE - I know how you feel - my kids love to visit MIL. They beg to sleep over. Marcus is the only one that likes to stay w/ mom (For a little while longer yet.)

HAYLEY - I hope that all goes as well as can be expected w/ your DH's gma. Its always a tough decision to make heroic efforts to maintain a non quality of lifestyle. When my gpa asked that next time, we just let him die - we did, and he passed peacefully on. He had already been thru so much, that it was better that way. You are in my prayers.

CHRISTINA - Dancing - oooh I miss dancing.

SUE - have a fun weekend coming up. DOn;t spend too much ! LOL

Hi Everyone,

Well I've been gone to long to even attempt to catch up on personals, so once again I will start fresh.

Did I say that I wanted to avoid the doc's for a while? Turns out I have a sinus infection so antibiotics for me, and DH's toe is now infected, antibiotics for him too, and if it is not any better by tomorrow, going to hospital to have nail removed and toe drained (YUK!!!). So instead of avoiding the doc, it has become my second home lol!!!

Caelen did have a bacterial infection in his penis, but the antibiotics have worked. So now there is 3 of us on antibiotics and all for different reasons.

Not much more to update, still renovating (inbetween the doc appts. Moving day is now only 11 days away, and we still have about 45 days of things to do, so it is getting a little stressfull. Sorry kind of went away from toddler issues, but I'll be back in the swing of things soon.

Now we have trouble getting him to sleep, it usually takes over 45min. and he wakes up crying during the night and then we have to go in his room and calm him done. Were tempted to put him back in his crib although we really don't eant to do that. Help!!! Should we have his big sister sleep on his floor for a night or two? Any other ideas? Please help us.

Well HELLO! Have you missed me? Paris here! :0) Well, I'm assuming you are all shouting cheers of glee and doing a dance of joy right now, so I'll move on. LOL Quinn is doing great! Little bit of a temper, but she's almost 2 so there ya go. She is just talking up a storm and being so funny too! All of my kids have been hilarious lately. Must be the weather. Which, today, by the way is gorgeous! We are going to go out and frolick in the yard. Nice choice of words eh? I like that word though. :0) Great mom that I am, at tball practice the other day, I got so into teaching the little ones, that Matt (one of the twins - I think it was him anyway) said "Where is Quinn?" Geez!!! Forgot about that one! Well, she was in the truck. Still I felt like an idiot for forgetting a kid. Not that she could go far, we are out in a field on the edge of town, but still. So, that's about it for now! I couldn't possibly catch up on all these entries but I have noticed it has slowed down a bit. Must be cuz I was gone eh? LOL Have a great day ladies. I'm off to get a tan!

Hi! It's Martha. Nothing much new here except I am trying to get ready for our trip to Virginia Beach and we leave Saturday morning. My dilemma right now is that I need to cut the grass on Friday, but I do not have anyone to watch Mary beth. It's supposed to rain in the afternoon or evening otherwise DH would do it. I could try to do it while she naps. I should be able to get it done during her two naps. I just hate to impose on my neighbors. I have one neighbor who is a stay-at-home mom, but she has a 2yr old and a 5 month old, one elderly neighbor and the others work all day. I really need to find a teenage girl who lives within a 10 minute drive. I don't feel like I am imposing if they accept payment. I thought about asking our priest if he could refer anyone to me, but he might think I am weird. But I also would like to meet the girl and decide for myself if she is suitable. We really should find a good babysitter so that DH and I can go to the movies or play tennis once in a while. Anybody have a tip for finding a babysitter when you are not from the area?

Lee - thanks for the sippy cup advice. I will try it. That's so funny about your DH acting like Elmo and his middle name being Elmo.

Romaine - so glad to hear that the surgery went well and you have people to help you with the girls. You are wise not to try to do it all yourself and get the help when you need it. Yeah for Mya and her crawling! MB did not do an official crawl until she was 9 months and she was about 11 months before she stood on her feet. Double Yeah for Saba and going on the potty. It's definitely a step in the right direction! I hear that you have a new niece! Congratulations to your whole family.

Patti - sorry to hear about your troubles with Jaime. You are doing the right thing by holding your ground. Hope things get better. I see what I am in for in a dozen years or so.

Rita - sorry to hear that your Mother's Day didn't work out. Hope you get to have a picnic soon.

Sarah G - Happy birthday, Isaac! Wow the big 3! What part of the world do you live in where you are getting things out of your garden this time of year? Our girls are close in age! I will send you a picture soon. Do send me one of Sofie, thanks!

Charline - do you have any pics of Hayden you can e-mail me? It's been a while I think since I have seen one. Wow, that's fantastic that Hayden liked the lasagna. We are still struggling with table food.

Sarah - I will have to stop picking up the sippy cup. Honest to pete! I tried to be unemotional about it. Good to hear that Hannah had fun with her cousins. Are they close in age? All of Mary Beth's cousins are at least 4 years older and boys except for 2 girl cousins who live in CA and are 4 1/2 and 12 months. We never see them.

Lisa B - yep, Mary Beth also puts her hands in the poop! I do remember Candance. Tell her we said "good luck" with this new pregnancy.

Sue- yeah on the new words! Someone did tell me that once kids learn to talk, they become more demanding. At least with words, you know what he wants! The weekend getaway sounds like fun. Doesn't matter where you go, really. Although I do like to shop. I hope you find lots of bargains. One thing I do is when Mary Beth starts dropping food over the side of her chair, I either end the meal or switch to the next item on the menu. I will have to stop picking up her cup AND her spoon.

Moe- at least AJ had fun with his aunt and uncle! The part I changed on the toilet only cost me $3.00 and it only took me about 10 minutes. It was the stopper for the hole inside the tank that lets the water in the bowl. All that running water fried my nerves b/c I kept thinking cha-ching cha-ching $$$$.

Julianne - sounds like Colton had a good Mother's Day!! Hopefully your DH will make it up to you. My DH had a headache on Mother's Day, took a nap, took a walk, and went into work for a few hours!! I made sure I bought some good food for a cookout, which I helped prepare, but he did give me a card and told me I was doing a good job with Mary Beth. I guess that is all that matters.

Well, take care everyone!

Hey girls! Lee here.
Not much going on. Hunter woke up and called for me. (Usually he just gets up) I thought something was wrong, but when I walked in there he had the biggest smile for me and his arms stretched out for a hug. I melted!!
JULIANNE: Happy Annv.! Glad you had such a good time. It's so hard to let the DH sleep when the little ones want to see them. I go through that daily!
ALICE: Thanks for the tips! He has a prescription cream that works great. But I'm concerned about the Aveeno. I can't keep Hunter from trying to drink all the water in the tub LOL Will it hurt him if he drinks the water with Aveeno in it?
PAULA: Hope your luck turns soon, then you can move back home. LOL I feel like I live in the dentists office. Mon. Gabby went, Tues. was Peytons' turn, Thur. is Lances turn. And I have to take Hunter when Lance goes b/c we think he chipped his tooth. UUGGHH!! Glad Caelen is doing better.
PARIS: Glad you're back.
MARTHA: You're welcome! any time. I don't know if you're religious, but the priest may be a good to start. I looked in my church and couldn't have found better babsitters. Personally, I like the fact that I was lucky enough to have Christian teenage babysitters. Just a thought.

Hi from LisaB. I guess Max started crying again after I left the sitters yesterday and clung to the sitter until her DD distracted him with a bunch of stuffed animals. He hadn't done THAT for ages. Then he and I both got haircuts last night (DH was with Max). My little monster screamed the entire time like someone was beating him. As soon as he was done DH and Max went outside. I got done and went out - said "hi" to Max and the little stinker completely turned his head away. He wouldn't look at me, talk to me, acknowledge me, etc. until after we got home ... and I think that was only because he slept on the commute and forgot about the Mean Mommy Monster deserting him. I felt so awful, but when we layed down together for him to go to sleep he kept lifting up his head, smiling at me, and wanting kisses - which made me feel much better!!!

MOE: Max sometimes cries when I make him leave the sitters ... all the other kids and toys are just more interesting than boring old Mom and the carseat. LOL!!!

JULIANNE: Mean old Mommy, bouncing Colton that hard that he vomited (just kidding!!!). I'm sorry DH was such a grump to you and Colton on Mother's Day, but it sounds like you 2 had fun anyway!!!

CHARLINE: YEAH on the tooth. Hayden sounds adorable with him mmmm mmmm!!!

ALICE: No, I'm no therapist ... just a boring old accountant!!!

THERESSA: I'm glad you had such a nice Mother's Day. I'm sure it was a little bittersweet, thinking of Thad. Marcus sounds like quite the little dare devil ... you'll have to keep your eyes on him!!!

PAULA: I'm glad Caelen's penis has cleared up; hopefully he can avoid circumcision. I hope your sinuses and DH's toe are better soon. No more health problems - YOU HEAR ME!!!!

MELISSA: Does your son's bed have a rail on it? If not, you can buy them to attach. Maybe he's just afraid to be so "in the open". I think letting his sister or someone sleep on the floor by him is a good idea, while he's adjusting to his new bed.

PARIS: You know, if you weren't so tired from partying all the time, you would remember to get your kids out of the truck. LOL!!!!! I'm just kidding!!!!!

MARTHA: I went to Virginia Beach MANY years ago ... it's a beautiful area and I'm envious that you'll be going there while I stuck at work. I would ask the priest or maybe some ladies from church with younger kids for babysitter recommendations. You might even be able to find a teenager from the church!!!

LEE: Hunter is such a sweetie, wanting a hug after his nap!!! Max also likes to drink bath water - GROSS!!!

Hello from Rita

I come back after my two day class and to find that my boss is leaving this unit. A lot of you will remember how long it took me to find this job.. I am finally feeling positive about embarking on this new direction with a good guide and now I have no guide! I have no idea what to expect.

To add a bit more stress, tomorrow is my appointment with the endocrinologist...

Amy is still quite the little stinker. We bought her her first pair of tennis shoes. You would think that they are running shoes to see her scurrying about! I look one minute to see her next to me at the computer and two seconds later she is saying "look" and I find her on the second shelf of a bookcase! Last night she pointed to the Pooh design on the border above her crib and said "Winnie Pooh." We are never sure what she will do or say next.

Twins Update: The little one gained three ounces and is up to 1 pound 11 ounces. They have been moved into a lower level NICU nursery since they are doing so well. The doctors are actually talking about them going home sometime in June. Wow! I hope to get up to the hospital soon to see them.

Martha - The church might be a good place to find a sitter. I remember getting several jobs from church members when I was a teenager. Have a great trip!

Paris - How was Quinn doing with being left in the truck? Amy never lets me leave her anywhere - she has some lungs!

Sorry this is a rather lop-sided post. I'll do some better note-taking when I am back into the swing of things. Take care everyone!

Hi Mums!
I really hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! My husband took me out to the most romantic little restaurant up in the Gautineau Hills in Quebec. I wasn't really surprised, I knew something was up, but it was still wonderful!
Mia seems to be changing so quickly as she gets closer to her one year birthday (next week!). I think that she's saying words but I don't want to get my hopes up...ie. duh for dog & duck, anana for banana, dada for Daddy and just about anything else!!
I went to the Dr today to get the green light to have another baby. We've decided to go ahead and try for number two. So, hopefully within a few months I'll be able to post "I'm Pregnant!!!"

Just a couple little personals:
Martha : I don't envy you a bit!! I have my inlaws in town as well as my sister and Mia's godparents. You have to be soooo careful in hiring babysitters! I honestly don't know if I could do it. I'd have to have know the person for a long time. So, I'm not very much help to you, but I wanted to wish you luck!
Melissa : Again, I can't be much help here as my darling is only one year old and takes two two hour naps in the day and sleeps 12 hours at night! I've kinda adopted the philosophy that one shouldn't go to the child when they wake up at night, unless it sounds urgent. Ie. if they're just crying cause they can't get to sleep, then they should be left to work on it on their own..or else they won't learn to do it on their own, and you'll always be stuck with a little one who gets up in the night.
Sue : I liked your Garden 'poem'. I seem to have a hard time to keep my rose bush going, but I'll certainly try to aspire to your idea.
Paris : I love the name Quinn. What was your inspiration?

Until later ladies...have a wonderful day!

Hi Alice again,

Okay who watched 90210, OMG I couldn't stop crying, that's it for good, I can't believe it!!!

I sent pics to those that I had e-mail addressess on file if you don't get any and want some, (and who wouldn't of my little darling) just let me know.

Not much going on today. I stayed up way to late last night chatting with a new friend, so I ended up taking a nap w/ Marcus this afternoon. It was great to just cuddle up with him and go to sleep. No more incidents with the trailer so far. LOL :)

ALICE - got the Pics! Wow - what a cute family. Paris IM me while I was looking, and she even agrees. How goes the countdown for the birthday boy?

MARYANN - Happy early birthday to Mia! Can't wait for you to join us full time here on TT - and with a little luck soon you'll post to PT again! Wishing you all the best of luck in TTC (And don't forget to have FUN trying!)

RITA - Hope things don't get to rocky at work. It's hard when you expect one thing, and then a whole other direction opens up. Hopefully it will only be better.

LISA - Yes, thoughts of Thad were a little harder on Mothers Day. But a day does not go by that I don't think of him. Thank you for remembering. Now that some time has passed, no one seems to mention him anymore - but that does not mean that he is out of my life. Anyways - I really appricate your remembering (and not being afraid to mention it!)

Hi- Sarah g here.

Just a quick hello. I am unfortunately in major procrastination mode for a speech I have to give on Saturday. It's my last one, but I'm just dreading it.

Sofie is learning new words every day. Yesterday was ball, tonight she made the 'f' sound for foot. Oh wow! She's been patting herself on the chest and saying "mama" It totally cracks me and Isaac up that she calls herself mama. She's walking everywhere and loves to say "up" when she stands up or climbs up on something (oh no, Rita, help!)

Haley- Your Barney Song sounds hilarious!!!! I've always gotten a bad feeling from the big purple dinosaur as well :)

Rita- Glad to hear the twins are doing well. Hope you have a smooth transition at work with all your big changes going on.

Julianne- Sounds like your Mothers' Day was pretty hectic. Now you need a real day off! I was lol to myself about bouncy bouncy, or what ever you called your sheet game, but I'm so sorry you had such a catastrophe! Poor Colton, like I said, now you need a real day off ! :o)

Alice- I'd love to see pics of Nathan. I haven't posted on pst yet, no time!

Martha- Good luck finding a sitter. I don't know what I'd do w/o my inlaws. They drive me nuts in their own way, but I do appreciate their babysitting. I live in northern California in a very rural area. We've had rain this week, which is quite strange for us this time of year, but I think it's great. Have a great trip this weekend!

Melissa- Hi! My advice is to be flexible. I tried having my son sleep in his bed at 2 1/2 and it was awful and impossible to keep him in bed. So we had a little talk together and he even really wanted his crib gate back on. So just this weekend when he turned 3 we took the gate back off and put a small bed rail on. Knock on wood---- it's going really well. Best wishes and let us know how it goes.

Theresa- OMG! On top of the horse trailer! And a "please" to get down!! Glad he was ok!We're borderline ranchers with day jobs over here, but I am only minimally involved... kind of a bum-ranch-daughter. Was it you who has a brother or something in a barn apartment too? Yay for dh cleaning and cooking!

Goodnight ladies!!

Hi Everyone,

Well started packing Kyla's room today, so I figure another 12 years and I'll be done lol!!!! Have I mentioned, I hate moving.

Martha-I have the same dilemma with babysitting. Thankfully I have alot of family here, but after a while you start to feel like you are imposing. I would love to find a teenage girl that I could trust.

Lee-I too went through the dentist thing about 6 months ago. Isn't it great when baby calls for you?

LisaB-You bad mommy, deserting Max lol!!! It is amazing how they can get angry with you. Thank goodness they soon forget. I'm dreading Caelen's first real haircut, but it must be done soon. I promise NO MORE HEALTH PROBLEMS!! (knock on wood)

Rita- I must have missed something. I remember you saying you had a doc appt a couple of weeks ago, but I never heard the outcome. Hope that everything is ok.

Alice-Liscence??? Congratulations!! I thought that I waited a long time (got mine at 23). To all you drivers in Ontario-Beware! Just kidding. It gives you a whole new sense of freedom don't you think?
I cant believe 90210 is over. Do you think maybe there is a support group available lol!!!

Maryann-Yeah for trying for #2. It sounds like you had a very nice mother's day.

All for now,

Hi, Paris here. I thought I would do some posts now. :0) I am only going to do the ones from today though, or after my last one cuz it's 12:30 and I'm actually tired! I can't believe it. Anyway, on to personals.

Martha: Have fun on your trip. About the babysitter thing, why don't you ask your neighbour who she uses. That's pretty much what I did when I moved here. Otherwise, the church seems like a good idea. Good luck!

Lee: Hunter sounds adorable doing that! Big hugs are wonderful!!! :0)

LisaB: Hey, I haven't gone out and done anything for three weeks now! God, how boring I have become! lol Anyway, to clarify I didn't forget her in the truck. I just sort of forgot she was there and she took off and got in the truck. Which is probably worse than forgetting her in the truck. But if you could see where we were, there was no chance she was getting too far without anyone noticing. It's hard trying to teach 7 five year olds baseball and running after a 22 month old too. :0) Bad bad bad Mommy I was.

Rita: I am so happy to hear the twins are doing so well! That's great. As far as leaving Quinn somewhere (ie. living room, inside, etc) it depends whether she wants to go or what kind of mood she is in. If I go out to let the dog in or something, sometimes she freaks cuz she wants to go out and other times she doesn't care. She really is quite independant. Guess she'd have to be when I forget she's there eh? God, I feel bad about that! But, she was having a great time playing in the truck. So, I left her there to play in it. I was only about 10 feet from where I was. I can see you all thinking I left her to play in a parking lot. We were in the middle of a field! :0)

Alice: Congrats on the license! I remember you telling me something about that! That's great!!!!!

Maryann: I used to live in Aylmer, Quebec. The Gatineau Hills are gorgeous. Glad you had fun. I actually found Quinn's name while just reading through a baby name book. It was in the boy section but I liked it for a girl too. So, we picked it. It means wise! :0)

Alice again: I watched 90210. I haven't this year til now. Thought I would see the finale. I thought it was good but I didn't cry! :0) It was nice though. The pics of Nathan are adorable as usual!!!

Theressa: Hey! When I came back on, I tried to send you a message, but you must have been logging off. :0)

Sarah G: Wow the f sound is hard! Good for her!!!

Paula: Good luck with packing! Geez, I haven't even finished unpacking yet!! LOL

Well, that's it for tonight ladies. I hope everyone is doing well! I have another tball practice tomorrow! Yay! Work those little buggers. LOL Promise won't forget about Quinn this time. :0) Talk to you soon!

Hello Christina here: Well I was tears last night over 90210 - they ended the show! I somehow knew that Donna and David would get hitched their vows were just OMG so intense and so beautiful!!

Lys is coughing still after two weeks almost and well I am alittle concerned she may have inherited asthma from me. I am going to call the doc today and speak with him about it. She has been with my mom since I am work till 10:30pm and I miss her and she said mama miss you, love you, bye-bye. All too cute, cannot wait till next week Friday when this training is over.

RITA: Glad to hear the twins are well and will be going home soon! =)

Well have to get started at work, will try to catch up.

Hello everyone!
My name is Cordé, and I've now "graduated" to Toddlers Today! As if May 16th, when Sarah turned 1, we now visit here! Boy, time sure does fly in the first year! We've been on preg. and Babies Today...and I hope I'm a little better in staying in touch with you folks here on Toddlers Today. I really find this MomsTalk a wonderful way to gain info as well as an opportunity to vent!
Sarah has been walking since 5/1 and our lives have changed so very much with chasing her! I guess it's just par for the course!
I have a quick question...Sarah tends to "play" with her toothbrush and DH and I help her with the brushing (only 8teeth now), but should we be using a baby toothpaste? We are just using the brush by itself. I visit the Pediatrician next Monday, I plan to ask him then, but Sarah is really into brushing her teeth with us!
Thanks for your time! Have a great day!

Hi from LisaB. Every night Max grabs his Elmo and Bear in the Big Blue House stuffed animals to take to bed with him. He grabs them and goes off running down the hall. I always say "wave night-night to Daddy" (yep, I'm bad and still lay down with him until he goes to sleep). Anyway,
Max will gently put both animals on the floor, wave to DH, grab the animals, and take off running towards the bed again. It's so cute!!!! I've been thinking "wow, all those kids at TT talk so much more than Max" ... until I sat down and started listing all the words Max has said (mama, dada, yellow, truck, gone, hot, out, Elmo, pup, no, boom, ...).

RITA: I'm sorry to hear your boss is leaving. I hope things work out well. Amy is a little climber, isn't she?! You'll have to watch her every second to keep her out of trouble!!!! We got Max some sandals for the summer. He's so funny in them ... he's so busy looking at them and acting as if they weigh 20 lbs that he can't hardly walk!!!! He wore them today and took one off in the carseat (they have velcro straps) and then cried because I wouldn't pull over just to put them back on - LOL!!! I'm glad to hear the twins are doing better.

ALICE: Congrats on getting your license!!! I have a cousin that was in her early 20s before she got hers ... and was then immediately in 3 wrecks (totaling 3 brand new cars) ... so BE CAREFUL!! Thanks for the photos of your little sweetie.

MARYANNE: YEAH for a romantic meal out!! Good luck TTC and have fun!!!! I agree about being leery hiring a babysitter I don't know well. I used to babysit alot when I was 12-15, often for people I barely knew. It scares the CRAP out of me now when I think how much responsibility these people gave me ... I could have done ANYTHING with their kids.

THERESSA: Isn't it great to find a new friend and to have so much to talk about?!!! Thanks for your post to me. I almost didn't mention Thad as I was afraid it would upset you, but then I thought if I was in your shoes I would want to know that someone was thinking about me and my special circumstances.

SarahG: I'm almost afraid to put Max in his boy boy bed over night, although he does sleep in it for naps. He lays down in our king size bed to go to sleep at night and tosses and turns all over the place. I think he would fall out of the bed 2+ times in a few minutes and then NEVER get to sleep - LOL!!!

PAULA: Max got his first "real" haircut right around his 1st birthday and did ok - but he sat on my lap the whole time. This time DH was with him as I was getting my hair cut also - I think that was the difference!!!! I've cut his hair several times at home, but can only do it when he's asleep as he screams and won't sit still.

PARIS: I can't imagine keeping track of ONE 5 year old and a 22 month old at the same time ... neverlone all the kids you had at ball practice!!!! GEEZ, what am I going to do with an infant and toddler?!

CORDÉ: Welcome!!! I buy Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Gel (I think that's the name) for Max from Wal-Mart. You shouldn't use the "regular" kids or adult toothpaste until they are over 2 years old ... something about the floride.

As a parting thought, I hope some of our old regulars come back soon ... Louise/James, Shelly/Riley, Birdie/Noah, Barbara/Stephen, Deb/Emily, and probably many others that are slipping my mind right now. If you're lurking, please post and let us know how you are doing!!!!

Hayley here. I'm an old geezer, 'cause I thought 90210 was dreadful! And what's with Tori Spellings boobs? Of course, I'm a Hollywood writer myself LOL!! There's a very funny article, in either this week's Newsweek or Time, that compares the trauma of Kelly Martin's last 10 years to Bill Clinton's - check it out!

Still waiting to see what the story will be with DH's grandmother - I can't believe she's still holding on, even though she's eating nothing but a tiny bit of pureed food and water.

Big work this weekend - it's the annual fundraiser rummage sale/raffle for Becca's day care. We have to put in about a zillion hours, and hire a sitter to watch Becca while we do so - it seems ironic!

Corde- I brush Becca's teeth w/water. The Ped. said we don't really need toothpaste until she's 2, as long as she doesn't eat a ton of sweets. But ask your dr.

Alice - congrats on the license. I had to take my test 3 times in NY City - of course, that was almost 20 years ago!

Hello from Rita

I feel as though I have just survived a severe vampire attack - my neck is very sore. I had three needle aspirations done on my thyroid this AM. I will have to wait for results. The good news is that my lymph node is okay. I was somewhat concerned about the big C because I was told that it was enlarged as well as the growth on my thyroid. Thanks for the ++++ thoughts and please send a few more that the results will be good.

Welcome Corde! I remember you.

Lisa B - Yes, I am missing a lot of our old regulars, too. I'll be e-mailing Debbie soon since we had planned to meet this summer while we were camping.

Hayley - Oh you crack me up!
I have never been a 90210 fan, but I watched a little last night and was thinking that Donna used to be a lot less buxom. I guess Daddy's money can buy all kinds of things?

Alice - Nathan is quite a handsome fellow! Thanks for the pictures!

Sarahg - Happy belated BD to Isaac. Yes, Amy is a climber.
Maddy never attempted a quarter of the things that Amy does. Maybe it's a second child thing? Keep an eye on Sofie...

Gotta get going. Take care everyone!

Hello moms and tots, Christina here! Well Lys is doing good today and less coughing. she never really gets sick, so I have not really been through this too much. Will talk to her on the phone in an hour or so, when she gets up from the nap. I am off to job #2.

Oh yeah- Donna's boobs on 90210 were funny lookin!! That dress did nothing for her. It was beautiful, but not with her boobs looking like that! David oh what a cutie and Dylan!!

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. I haven't been feeling that great over the last 2 days. AF decided stop by and she brought with her Mr. Migraine.(yuck!) I was laying on the floor this a.m. because my head hurt so much and Hayden came over and gave me a kiss, so did Teddy the dog. It was so cute.
Hayden's newest antic is to pull out clean clothes from his dresser and throw them in the hamper with the dirty clothes.

Alice-Thanks for sending me the pics of Nathan. He has such an adorable smile:) Congratulations on getting your license!

Theressa-Glad to hear that you had a nice Mother's Day. Your heart must have skipped a beat when you saw Marcus on top of the horse trailer.

Paula-I hope that all of you have speedy recovery and are off of the antibiotics soon.

Martha-I'll send you some pics of Hayden after I post. We are still struggling with table foods also. Hayden does still eat some babyfood for breakfast and lunch. I am always concerned because I don't think he has even reached the 20lb. mark yet. He was only 18lbs 12oz. at the 1 year check up. We still don't have a babysitter either and both our families live out of state. Have a great trip.

Lee-That is so sweet that Hunter had his arms stretched out for you to give you a hug:)

LisaB-It sounds like Max didn't want you to go to work. That's cute that he kept on lifting his head towards you to get more kisses:)

Rita-Amy does sound like a little stinker climbing the bookcase. Too cute about her saying Winnie the Pooh. Glad to hear that the twins are doing better. I'm sending some +++ thoughts and prayers that your test results will come back ok.

Maryann-Glad to hear that you had a great Mother's Day. It does sound like Mia is saying a lot of words:) Good for her!

SarahG-That's great that Sofia is saying so many new words.

Christina-Lys sounds so sweet saying mama miss you, love you, bye bye:)

Sarah-I hope that you feel better.

Welcome Corde & Sarah! Happy Belated 1st Birthday to Sarah!

Moe-Happy Belated 21 month Birthday to A.J.! Yes, Teddy(my dog) would like your dog's cell phone #. Happy Birthday to your DH1

With all the talk about 90210 I just had to watch it last night. I haven't seen it in a couple of years. It was very good! I agree that Donna's breast looked huge and the dress wasn't very flattering to her buxom figure.
Did anyone watch Friends tonight? It was so good! Monica & Chandler are getting married.

Hello to everyone else. Have a good night ladies. I'm going to try and watch ER if I can stay up. If not, I'll just tape it.

Hi Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

Not much going on here today, yeah long weekend starting tomorrow, for all of you that get the show Electric Circus on Friday nights in Canada @ 9:00 on Muchmusic, I think it is also available in the States via satelite, anyways it is a dance show and my sister is a regular on the show and she is taking Nathan with her tomorrow night so if your interested please watch my little sweety.

On to personals:

THERESSA - Thanx, and the countdown is going well, but funny you should ask we went out for dinner tonight and on the kids menu was a birthday cake so he thought we were there for his birthday, geeze this child is just not giving up. 12 more days.

SARAG - I sent the pics hope you enjoy.

PAULA - As soon as we got home yesterday I told DH I want a car. God I can't believe I waited this long what a fool. Give me your e-mail so I can send pics, why don't you ever post it.

PAULA - Okay I got the second post, dumb me LOL, Kay sent the pics.

PARIS - You're the computer whiz here, so scan some pics of your kids girl, I want to see some new ones. Actually I have seen, Quinn and Victoria but never Alex.

CORDE - Welcome and sorry can't get the accent on your name. Are you french? Definitely use baby toothpaste, they tend to swallow it and the regular stuff has flouride it will make her tummy upset. Keep up that great habit cause when she is two the thrill of brushing will be gone. LOL

LISAB - Hey I still lay down with Nathan and he is almost 3, I don't see anything wrong with it although DH has another view on the subject. What are you trying to do jinx me before I even have a car, I am an excellent driver thank you very much. LOL

HAYLEY and RITA - The two of you are cracking me up, hey leave Donna alone she's out of a job now. LOL

MOE - Very funny, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, drivers license, okay now you can make fun of me. LOL Be nice cause I'll get AJ to punch you in the nose. Happy Birthday to DH.

Kay gotta go check out PST, you guys aren't gonna kick me out in 12 days are you? boo, hoo.
Talk to you tomorrow.

Hello everyone!
It's Cordé and Sarah here.

Lisa B, Hayley, and Alice- THanks for the tips on the brushing of teeth. Sarah thinks it's so much fun as she sees us brush ours.

Rita -- Hope the results are AOK!

Charlene -- Hope you are feeling better

ALice -- I'm only a tiny bit French. Like 1/8th! I'm a "mutt" of sorts -- The main parts are a little Chech, Polish, and a little dab of Irish!

Well, it's raining where I live and I hope it tapers off b/c DH and I are going to a wedding this afternoon. ..although it really doesn't matter, I just think it's a wonderful touch that a wedding day be a sunny day...

Have a wonderful FRIDAY !!!!

CORDE and SARAH - WELCOME!!!! You picked a great name!! LOL We let HANNAH start playing with her toothbrush around 12 months, and started using baby toothpaste at about 18 months.

ALICE - Congrats on getting your license. Oh, and thanks for the adorable pictures of NATHAN!

Rita-Positive thoughts your way.

Moe-Glad to hear little slugger is taking it easy on your face, he sounds so cute.

Christina-I agree with you about Donna's boobs. Bad plastic surgeon or what!!!! I bet you can't wait for this training to be over.

Charline-Glad you are feeling better.

Alice-I sometimes see E-Circus, so if I am home tonight I will tune in. Going to check email for the pics right after I leave here.

Sarah-Glad you are feeling better. Hope Hannah is not sick, there has been too much of that around here lately.

Bye for now,

Hi from LisaB. The sitter told Max to "tell Mommy bye" when I got ready to leave this morning. Max ignored me completely (he was playing the sitter's DD's Woody the Sheriff talking doll from Toy Story) but the 28 month old little boy grinned at me really big, waved at me, and said "bye, Mommy". LOL!!!!!

RITA: I'm glad the lymph node was ok. Let us know your thyroid results as soon as you get them, as we are all concerned about you.

MOE: How funny, AJ only beats up on you when he likes you!!!

CHRISTINA: I'm glad Lys is doing better.

CHARLINE: I hope you feel better soon. How sweet of your 2 little boys to give you extra kisses to cheer you up!!! Hayden sounds adorable throwing his clothes in the hamper. Max just takes stuff out of all the dresser drawers and lays the clothes ALL over the house. Some day company will come over and there will be one of my bras on the couch and my huge maternity undies on a lamp shade - LOL!!!!

ALICE: Thanks for letting me know you also lay down with your toddler. I figure we did that with my brother (I was 14 when he was born) until he was 5-6 or so and he didn't seem to ever have any related problems. I'm sure you're an excellent driver ... and besides, as much time as you spend on the Internet you won't ever have the TIME to actually hit the roads. LOL!!!!!!

SARAH: Hey, I may be going to Denver in July for a week for training. I need to check with my OB first to ensure she doesn't have a problem with it (I'll be around 7/8 months then). I loved Friends and ER last night too!!! I still haven't watched LAST week's ER but did manage to stay up last night for the season finale. I was bawling like a baby with the girl with placenta abruption. That's sad anytime ... but especially when you have raging pg hormones.

Hi girls, quick post...
Everything is great here in Ottawa. I bought Mia her first bathing suit yesterday, and if she isn't the cutest little thing! The clerks in Gymboree just cried at how cute she was! Going to a wedding tonight, and was asked to bring Mia...but I don't think we will. It just doesn't seem right, even though they asked us to. I know that I wouldn't have appreciated babies crying or gaaing at my wedding. But, that's just me I guess! Tomorrow night's another fun night out for DH and myself! Gosh, I could get used to this...twice in one week! Yay!! Going to see April Wine at the Tulip Fest - my fellow Canadian posters would likely remember these classic rock hipsters, eh!

Alice : I didn't get any pics!! Pls send some! I watch electric circus once in awhile to see how far out of touch I am with todays generation...which one is your sister? Orange or purple hair? lol :) And I'd definitely watch for Nathan, if you could send me a pic...

Long weekend, Yahoo!! DH works the whole time anyway, so not really long weekend for us, but I know it will be nice for alot of you. Have fun!
Chow for now,

She misses me so much I have not seen her since Sunday. This training class is till 10:30 at night and its draining. I am picking her up tomorrow and I will be so happy to get a grat BIG HUG FROM MY MUNCHKIN and i am sure alot of kisses from her.

I was bawling like a baby with the girl with placenta abruption. That's sad anytime ... but especially when you have raging pg hormones.

MARYANNE: Mia sounds adorable in her bathing suit. I took Max to a wedding when he was about 13 months old as the bride and groom both requested that he attend. We sat at the edge of the last pew so we could make a quick escape if he started fussing (which DH did about 1/2 way through the ceremony - he didn't mind as he doesn't really enjoy weddings anyway!). Hey, I've lived in central USA all my life but I remember April Wine from my teenage days!!

CHRISTINA: I'm glad to hear things are going better with the BY. I hope Lys is better soon. On Friends, Chandler took Monica out to dinner and was just getting ready to propose when Richard walked in ... and ended up sitting at the next table. Chandler freaks when they get back (after he didn't propose) and everyone is asking to see Monica's hand. Him and Joey then decide that Chandler will act like Chandler has 0% interest in marriage or committment so Monica won't catch on to the surprise proposal. Meanwhile, Richard tells Monica he still loves her and wants to marry her and have kids with her. Monica is then conflicted - she loves Chandler but doesn't see any future in the relationship. Monica goes to Richard's apartment to "talk" and Chandler arrives just after she leaves to "think things over". Richard tells Chandler to go after Monica with all he has. Chandler goes back to the apartment and Joey meets him in the hallway. Joey says Monica packed up everything and went to her parents and said for Chandler not to call her. Chanlder is all upset and opens the apartment door - candles EVERYWHERE and Monica is there and SHE proposals to HIM!!!! Also, Ross broke up with his girlfriend as she's too immature and Joey brought a $20,000 boat at a charity silent auction (he thought whoever guessed closest to the actual price WON the boat ... like on The Price is Right!!). On ER the only thing with main characters was Carter got caught stealing narcotics to inject into himself and after confrontation, saying he was quitting as they would fire him if he didn't do rehab, etc. went to a drug rehab.

Hi Everyone. Darleen here!
T.G.I.F. YAH!!
Nolan is napping, well needed nap. He was up 3 times last night, not like him at all. I think he is coming down with a cold.Work is going great. It is very busy, but Nolan has adjusted well, and he is not jealous of me holding other children(baby's). The only thing I miss, is I'm out of routine with going to my exercise classes. I am too tired at night to go when Dh gets home, so I haven't been for a week. I was feeling good about myself, but now I'm back to square 1. Oh well, I should make myself go. Hopefully tonight if Dh doesn't get home too late.

Tomorrow we are off again for the week-end to my sisters. It is my nephews 8th birthday. Then we are hoping to go and look at lots to build a house. They won't be ready until next March, but that is perfect for us since we are on a 1 year lease until then. Then hopefully I will be pregnant for #2, we are trying, no luck yet, but it is fun trying! LOL!
Nolan is doing great. Everyday new words corrupt from his mouth! Last night him and Dh were dancing to music Dh had playing on his computer. Nolan came over and slapped me on the leg because I wasn't dancing with them. I was trying to watch friends. I thought it was good also, so was ER. Beverly Hills was excellent also, I cried all the way thru it of course. Dh made fun of me! Oh well, I'm more sad because it is done forever. I have watched it for years! Now what am I going to watch besides Days of Our Lives??

Persoanls:
Alice-Congrats on your drivers license. Stay off the sidewalks, Alice is on the lose! LOL! Freedom at last!! Pls send pictures of Nathan!

Christina & Alyssa-Glad to hear things are working out better between you and your Bf, nothing worse when you don't think you can trust them. Threaten him with Lorainna Bobit, it works in my house hold. LOL! Sick joke sorry!

MaryAnn & Mia- Too cute about Mia in her bathing suit, She will be the next bathing beauty queen of 2000! Keep the boys away now!! LOL! Enjoy your long week-end, first one for the year!

Sarah- Enjoy th game Saturday night, and your 2 nights out! Go AVS! Dh is rooten for them!! He is over joyed that the Leafs are done!!

Corde & Sarah- Welcome! I hope you enjoy the TT board!

Moe and A.J- Happy 21 mths! Next it will be 21 years. Holy Cow, can't imagine! Don't want to think about that one!!

Happy Victoria Week-end to all my fellow Canadian TT friends! Enjoy, have a safe week-end!
I'm going now to have a sleep before Nolan wakes!

Have a great week-end everyone! I will send pictures when I get a free day to take Nolan to get them done. If he is anything like he was when I got his hair cut, look out photographer! He screamed the whole time he got his hair cut. You would have thought the hair dresser was killing him. Does it get better with age, or does each age and stage get worse?? HELP!!

Hi! It's Martha. I thought I would not post again before we leave, but I had to tell you all what happened today. We had a near-disaster. Mary Beth started playing with her baby food jars in the pantry which she loves to do, but I try not to let her. However, the doors were unlocked and she got in there. Instead of making her cry, I just let her play. Then I heard a small crash. It took me a second to realize it was broken glass. When I reached her she was trying to pick up part of the broken bottle. I got her away, pulled a piece a glass off of her (bare!) foot then ran her feet under the kitchen faucet to remove all the little particles off. Fortunately, I was able to get it all cleaned up without anymore mishaps. The funny thing was that it was a jar of broccoli and carrots - she will eat it, but it is not her favorite. The moral for me is not to waiver on safety issues just to keep the peace. I feel lucky but also ashamed of myself for letting it happen.

Charline - how funny that Hayden likes to take clean clothes out of the drawer and put them in the hamper. He just wants to skip that one big part - wearing them first! Mary Beth also likes to pull clothes out of drawers.

Corde & Sarah - welcome to TT. Have fun at the wedding.

Sarah - have fun at the hockey game. Better you than me - LOL! Not a hockey fan. Hope Hannah is not sick but also hope she does not have allergies either. Happy Birthday to you - hope it's fun.

Alice - yeah for Nathan being on the E-Circus show. How exciting to be on tv. Unfortunately, we don't get it here. Nothing better than driving by yourself with the windows rolled down and singing with the radio.

Christina - glad to hear that Alyssa is doing better and you and your BF are on good terms.

LisaB - how funny that the other little boy said "bye, Mommy" - what a ham. It's good that Max was engrossed in his play and can separate from you without agony. I wonder how Mary Beth will do once she starts pre-school since she and I are together all day everyday. I personally was miserable when I started kindergarten b/c I had been home with mom or with a babysitter and not in daycare or pre-school, but I was also the baby in the family.

Maryann - take lots of pics of Mia in her swimming suit! Have fun at the wedding. You will probably have more fun if you get a sitter for Mia - just my opinion.

Moe - happy 21 months to AJ. Glad he has stopped beating you up! You must love all the talking! It's amazing what they think of to say.

Paris - glad you are enjoying T-Ball

Ok, this is it! Really! I just can't keep away! Talk with you all soon! Take care, everyone!

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with Gymboree classes. I want to enroll my 8 month old baby but I wonder if they are good and worth the money or not. Please let me know if anyone has any information for me. I really wonder if they help the babies reach their milestones. If you have any comments to share please e-mail me.

Thanks!

Hello Ladies. Not much today. Thanks for the B-day wishes for my DH! We will go out to eat tonight for his B-day. Maybe he'll get the senior discount!! We gave AJ a haircut last night. He does not like those clippers. DH used one attachment..not short enough..then another one..If he would have used the one I said, AJ would have had his haircut done and over with. Instead he cried and cried. Air off!! (hair off) It was all over his diapers !! Poor thing.

Charline - Sorry about you not feeling well. Teddy gives kisses too!! Now I really need Teddy to call Laser. 1-800-TOP-DOGGY. AJ loves to get clothes too! I don't know what is clean or dirty. I feel like I am washing all the time!

Alice - You know I love to give you a hard time. Loved the pictures!!

Sarah - If I forget to tell you...Happy Early Birthday!

Paula - If you want to see my boxer baby let me know!!

Lisa - LOL on your bra and things all over. AJ had my bra on his head one day.

Maryann - lucky you! Going out twice.

Darleen - Don't remind me of my AJ growing up! BOO HOO

Martha - AJ likes to get in my moms pantry too. One of these days he is going to drop a can on his toes. We all learn!!

Well, take care all mommies. Thank goodness it is the weekend.

Hi mommies. Long lost Patty back again. Gosh this week has really SUCKED! I started out having problems with being upset again, then I got the stomach flu and today I went to the doctor where he told me I have a nasty sinus infection! I've missed three days of work this week. Sure would be nice to enjoy Jarin while I'm home!! Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and I'll be feeling better soon. I know I'll miss some people, but I am totally going to have to skim. Sorry!

**Christina: Sounds like you are plenty busy! Glad Lys is feeling better. The Mother's Day gifts from her sound very cute. =) I am totally with you on the 90210 vows. OMG!!! So good. =)
**Hayley: Hope things work out for DH and FIL. LOL at your potty mouth.
**Moe: LOL at AJ not wanting to go home. Jarin goes to my sister like that - just "bye-bye mom" and away he goes! Thanks for the confirmation of my decision with DD. Tonight starts another weekend. What will it be now? Jarin also loves to take my glasses off at night, but he likes to get his little fingers all over them. Then I go to put them on and can't see a thing!
**Julianne: Sounds like Colton has what i had! Not fun. Sorry about the clean sheets!Sounds like Colton wanted daddy time and didn't care if DH was tired. LOL. No new news on Amy yet, but thanks for the ++ thoughts on my life lately.
**Charline: I'm with Hayden - mmm mmm on the lasagne! Thanks for the ++ thoughts. I'm glad most of you aren't too sick of my venting yet! LOL. Hope your migraine is gone for good. Those are not fun. Too cute Hayden kissing you to make you feel better. =) I also LOVED the Friends season finale. I was bawling at Chandler and Monica too. Am I pathetic or what? (Or could it be my lack of antidepressants for the past 5 days? LOL)
**Paula; I hear you on the sinus infection! Hope your whole family is better soon. Good luck getting ready for moving day!
**Melissa: Maybe your boy just isn't ready for the big bed yet?
**Paris: Oh, good mommy forgetting Quinn in the truck! LOL
**Martha: We also don't really have any babysitters except family. I wish I had some advice for you. LOL on what you are in for in a dozen or so years. Hey, enjoy these years, they are definitely the best!!! =) =) =)
**LisaB: LOL at the Mean Mommy Monster striking again. Jarin got his hair cut again the other day and he also did NOT like it one bit!! Don't you just LOVE those kisses and hugs? That is so cute about Max and his Elmo and Bear ITBBH. Jarin still prefers to sleep with Tigger, but every once in a while he grabs his Elmo or Bear too. Is there something we should know about you and this other little boy at daycare? LOL Wait till you watch last week's ER - I was totally sobbing at that one too!
**Rita: Good luck at the endocrinologist. sorry to hear about your boss. Great news on the twins. I was just going to ask how they were doing! Ouch on the 3 needles in your neck! I hope and pray everything comes back ok.
**Alice: Not a driver's license? You are just NOW getting one???? OMG!!!! 90210? I was totally BAWLING my eyes out, making sobbing noises, and everything!!! WHERE ARE MY PICS???
**Maryann: Good luck in TTC if you guys are ready again. =) I'm sure Mia's suit is too cute. =)
**Sarahg: Good luck with your last speech. Yay! Yay for Sofia talking so much too. =) I love the little voices.
**Sarah: I was SO thinking of you while I was sitting in my chair bawling and sobbing over David and Donna's wedding. I even called my sister and said "Are you crying? I can't wait to get on TT and see what Sarah says." LOL Have fun at the hockey game and I hope Hannah's nose is better.
**Corde: Welcome! Wow, Sarah can't possibly be one already??? I use a TINY bit of toothpaste on Jarin's brush sometimes, or sometimes just the water.
**Darleen: I'm glad your new job is going so well for you and Nolan is adjusting so great too. Sounds like you are really enjoying it.

Ok, my head hurts from all this reading and my fingers are about to fall off, so here I go. Take care everyone. Maybe someday I'll start posting regularly again!

Hello, it's Julianne here, happy that it's Friday. Colton is such a little jabber-box lately. We were watching the news about the fires in NM this morning and he turned to us and said "hot". It is so neat to see him making such connections.

We got the approval from the township this week to buy a few more acres from the farmer behind us. We got the interest rate locked in and the land perked! Hopefully we will be able to start building in July and move in by December. DH was having fun trying to knock down trees until he got the back-hoe stuck.

I haven't posted for a couple of days so there are lots of personals. Sorry if I missed anyone.

Charline: Yeah for Hayden getting a tooth! How nice of Hayden to give you kisses when you were feeling bad. (nice of Teddy too!) Colton thinks the hamper is for trash too. The other day I found several napkins when I was emptying it. Friends and Fraiser were both GREAT! I was dissapointed with ER though.

Theressa: How nice of DH to clean the house & fix dinner for you. I think it will take a big bump to the head to ever get my DH to do such a thing for me. Oh well. My DH likes to blame me when he gets sick. He will tell Colton that mommy gave him a cold!

Paula: Keeping the drug companies in business now aren't you! Moving--fun, but lots of work.

Melissa: Sorry, no suggestions as I haven't tried the switch yet. Hope it all works out for you.

Paris: Bad mommy, forgetting Quinn in the truck!

Martha: I think asking your priest or other church friends for suggestions is a good idea. I found that having the babysitter over while I was at home to meet Colton while I could see them interact works good. Glad MaryBeth wasn't hurt worse from the broken glass. I know that I too think that it's OK if I let Colton do something he shouldn't because it's just for a minute or so too. I think Colton keeps his guardian angels really busy.

LisaB: Too funny Max giving you the cold shoulder! Cute night time ritual.

Rita: So glad that the twins are doing better. Too cute about Amy and her speedy shoes. Thinking positive thoughts for your test results.

Maryanne: Positive thoughts for you getting pg quickly.

Sarahg: It sure is fun to hear all those new little words in their cute toddler voice.

Christina: I too was full of tears watching 90210--loved the vows. My dr always tells me that if Colton's has a cold that is not getting better after 10 days to bring him in because it is likely more than a cold. Glad things with BF are better.

Sarah: Glad you are feeling better. Colton sends some "bless yous" to Hannah. Great b-day present from DH. Hava a great weekend.

Corde': Welcome. Colton has been brushing his teeth w/ regular toothpaste since before he was 1. My dr OK'd it because we have well water and he needs the floride. You should hear him hollar when he sees us brushing our teeth. I had to give him his toothbrush when DH was taking a shower with him this morning.

Hayley: DH made comments about Tori having bad boobs too. I had to laugh, you would think the way men act around boobs that there would be no such thing as bad ones!

Moe: So did DH have some fun for his b-day? Cute about AJ and the glasses. It sure is nice when they can tell you what they are thinking. However, in the morning when Colton wants DH and tells me "mommy go" when I try to get him from his crib it breaks
my heart--the little traitor!

Darleen: Glad Nolan is adjusting to your job. How sweet of Nolan to want you to dance too.

Patty: Sorry to hear you are having such a bad week. Hope you feel better soon.

DH is still outside so back to the laundry.

Hi Everyone,

Not much new to report, just very thankful that it is a long weekend.

LisaB-That is so cute about the little boy saying "bye Mommy" to you. How is the pregnancy coming? To me it was different (but just as special) the second time around.

Maryann-I agree about not bringing babies to weddings. We have been invited to 6 this year, and the only one that Kyla will be going to is the one in which she is the flowergirl, and I will bring both to DH's stepsister's wedding, but only because if I don't I might be shot. I think it is for my own enjoyment more than anything. How can you enjoy yourself at a wedding if you're preoccupied trying to keep baby quiet?
Have fun at Tulipfest. I can''t remember the names of any songs by April Wine. Can you refresh my memory.

Darleen-A brand new house!!! THat is so exciting, congratulations. And baby #2 as well, hope you continue to have fun trying lol!!!
Yeah Victoria Day!!!

Martha-I know the feeling of keeping the peace. I think that it is a natural thing that all mother's do. Glad to hear there were no injuries. You have made me re-evaluate some of my peace keeping tactics though. Thankyou for sharing your story.

Julianne-You and Darleen both in new houses. Congratulations to you as well.

Patty-I had to miss a few days of work as well, but didn't get to spend any extra time with Caelen either. Hoping to take a couple of healthy days in a month or so, just so I can spend some quality time with the kids. Hope you feel better soon.

Moe-Poor AJ with his haircut. I would love to see some pictures of him.

Barbara-How are you? Getting ready to move into your house? Hope you Stephen and Steve are well.

Bye for now,
Paula and Kids

Hi! Sarah g here :)

Just thought I'd drop by to say hello. BorderlineX-dh has the kids this weekend and so SIL and I visited a couple of bars just for kicks. But, what a disappointment!! We went to Roseville-- way too country!! Next time I've gotta make the drive to Sacramento!!

The kids are doing really well. Isaac has transitioned to his bed with a rail wonderfully. Sofie is just a crack up. The only thing is Isaac has actually started stuttering since the separation. He only does it and the end of his words, which seems unusual to me. Has anyone heard of this? I think I won't mention it to him- it seems these things will clear up as time passes.

Patty- HI! Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. Best wishes to get better quick!!

Alice- Thanks for pics!!! :)

LisaB- Sorry you got the cold shoulder from Max. I know these little guys can be such characters.

Darleen- Days of Our Lives??? I shamefully admit that I watched that show faithfully for almost 10 years, maybe more......... eeek!!!!! I used to love it! I just can't make the time anymore to keep up. Were you a long time watcher?

Julianne- Wow! HOw exciting to start building soon!!! congrats!!!!

Sarah- Glad you're feeling better, and YES, happy FRIDAY :) :)

Martha- Thanks again for the pics. Fun to 'talk' via email. So sorry to hear about Mary Beth's mishap with the babyfood jars. Have a super weekend!

Well- goodnight! Talk to you all later!!

Hello mums, Maryann here - gosh, twice in two days...I think that's a record for me!
The wedding was nice, small and intimate. Mia handled the evening without mom and dad not too bad. She kept waking up all night and crying for a few minutes, then going to sleep. The sitters (her godparents) said that she started that shortly after they put her down. She Never wakes up in the night, so I'm not sure if she was just missing us, or teething again or what.

MARTHA: Wow! Close call with the broken glass. I'm really glad MaryBeth didn't hurt herself! Your heart just kinda stops when something like that happens, doesn't it?
KRIS: Mia is enrolled in Gymboree. She's in the 10-18 mo class and she just loves it! To me, it's worth every penny. Mia doesn't get to interact with other children often (no relatives with babies or friends even!) so it's a great chance to work on social skills. Also, it's great for the moms, as you get to discuss parenting issues. The children have so much fun! And when you break it down, it's about 10 bucks (CND) per class, which really isn't that bad when you think of what else you spend 10 bucks on!
PATTY: Hope your cold goes away already! You poor thing!
PAULA: The April Wine song that always comes into my head is "Roller" - I think that's what the name is...chorus 'she's a roller, a high roller baby, my my, ...'

I'm torn now about the concert anyway..the friends we were to go with might not be able to go, so I'm contemplating the drive in. U571 and Erin Brokovich are playing. I LOVE the drive in. We used to take Mia when she was just a couple months old! She'd sleep right though it! But it certainly wasn't very fun breastfeeding in our stick shift car! Pillows propped up everywhere, trying to be discreet, it's dark so you can't even really see what you're doing...but it's still a blast!!
:)

Hi girls. Nothing new here. Jarin just fell while jumping in his crib and now he has two HUGE bumps on his head where he hit the railing. My poor little guy! The antibiotics are kicking in, so I am finally starting to feel better. Just thought I'd quickly check in.

**Julianne,Maryann, Paula, Sarahg: Thanks for the positive vibes. Hope to be feeling better soon. Maryann - we have a drive-in here too, but haven't been there for a long time!

Have a great weekend.

Me again, Maryann! Kinda slow today on the board, eh? I guess everyone is out enjoying the long weekend...

ALICE: Just wanted to say that I saw your little guy on EC this afternoon on CityTV. What a sweetie! Your sister is beautiful too. Did Nathan have a good time? He looked a little unsure when I saw him!It must have been pretty neat for him! I only watched until I saw Nathan, which luckily was in the first 20 minutes or so...I get too depressed when I watch that show for too long! My extra 20lb since the preg feels more like 100 lb when I watch that show!! lol

bye bye,

Just wanted to see what was up? I should be doing paperwork. DH had to go out of town, his salesman van broke down and he had to go get him. AJ is asleep, big brother is with his aunt...Mom is boring you know!! I just got don't watching "Beaches" and of course I was crying. I always do not matter how many times I watch it.
I will do personals later. Well you know it was too good to be true. Last night I got a whopper of a fat lip from you-know-who!!?? Lisa...There was lots of blood. I was laying down with AJ and he rolled over and his head busted me in the lip. I almost cried!!! Now I have a fat lip, it looks kind of white looking, yuck. Lip stick won't even cover it!!!Well I better get some work done! : ( Enjoy your children. It is a beautiful day here in Kansas. I went outside to change the water and saw a big rain cloud coming!!

Oh we went out to eat last night for DH B-day. AJ was the last to eat. I can't believe he ate like he did!! He ate more than his brother. We had to take the food away or we would have been there all night !!

Bye for now.
