Hi! Long lost Sarah g here.

Well ladies, I finally did it. Dh has moved out. I think it was the most peaceful breakup ever. No yelling or fighting. Trauma has totally been minimized for the kids. For those of you who remember my posting way back or weren't here at the time I had tried ultimatims and failed to get dh to support us properly. (Health insurance!!) The kids are about to lose their state health benefits and of course dh is worthless when it comes to comprehending anything related to paperwork. So I finally told him I'm done being married to someone who will not care for their children.

It's so strange. I'm so relieved in a lot of ways. My parents are really supportive, which is so nice. I had been so worried about what to tell Isaac, and really he just developmentally doesn't comprehend what's going on yet. But his day will come. I really feel like I'm on my way to living the way I love to live.

Thanks for "listening."

A big hello to all my old pals- Julianne, Patty, Lisa B, Rita, Romaine, and all you new posters who I still haven't caught up with!!! Hope to get to know you all soon :)

Goodnight!

HI everyone, Barbara here. How is everyone today?

It is another beautiful day in Massachusetts. I am going to my mother in law's today and we are going to take stephen to the beach to play in the sand. He is napping right now.

Wow, I missed a few days of this board and it is so hard to catch up!!

Charline-The melrose one is in a church. It is pretty nice, but I am getting sick of dragging stephen there every week now. he doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as he used to. I think he would much rather be outside.

Jamie-I lived in Houston for 6 weeks when I was in Flight Attendant training for Continental Airlines. I actually bid to live in HOuston after class but they were not accepting any new flight attendants at that base. I really loved it there...but boy oh boy, was it HOT!! I was there in July/August of 94.

Romaine-Saba sounds like such a doll!

Theressa-I agree with Paris, your strength is amazing and your kids are beautiful. I found the pictures of Thad to be extemely touching, he looks like such an angel.

Sue-Are you near Agawam, Ma? I really want to go to the new six flags park out there.

Paris-I think you would be a GREAT spokesmom for the board. You have my vote.

Rebecca-Sorry to hear that Paige isn't doing the commercial.

Hi to Paula, Patty, Alice, Moe and all the other mommies and toddlers.

I have to get going here, I am so scared that this beautiful weather will slip away if I don't enjoy every minute of it.

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. The weather is absoulutely gorgeous here in Mass. I can't believe that it snowed hear a couple of weeks ago and now it is going to be in the 90's! That's New England for ya. DH just set up Hayden's sand box. So, we are going to go outside and see how he likes it after his nap.

Romaine-It was not 90 but 80 degrees on Friday here. It is suppose to be in the 90's today though, so I'll send some hot weather your way. Too cute about Saba kissing your hands.

Jenni-Yeah to weather is great today for Nicholas's party! I hope that you are having a great party Nicholas.

Paula-Glad that you are feeling a little better. I will send some heat your way. It is going to be in the 90's today and tommorrow here in Mass.

Alice-Whoops, sorry I said AJ instead of Nathan. You can tell I was tired when I wrote that post. Your welcome for the info on Gymboree. When are you planning the party for? I will send a couple of pics of Hayden later.

Patty-The boys sound so cute running around naked after their bath. I hope that June 13th comes quickly for you. Where are you that you have to make up days from the winter? I thought you were in California. I hope that you are having nice weather for Jesse's First Communion today.

Tara-Glad to hear that Adriana's fat lip is better. I hope that your rash goes away quickly.

Lee-Too cute about Hunter wanting to do the laundry and pouting because you took his turn.

SarahG-I'm glad that everything went well for you with the breakup.

Barbara-The weather is beautiful here in Mass. I think that I'm not going to sign Hayden up for Gymboree in the summer. I don't want to miss out on the beautiful weather either.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hi Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

I have a little bragging to do today, yesterday I got an early Mother's Day present, went out with the girls ALL DAY SHOPPING, DH watched all the kids, and had them playing inside and in the backyard so he could keep an eye on them while he cleaned the house, he also did all the laundry, yep I think I'll keep him for awhile!:-) Nathan did have a bad fall though he was coming out to the front and his foot got caught on the front step so he did a face plant on the concrete step, glad I wasn't home to see it I can't handle that kind of stuff too well, so Nathan now has a bump on his forhead, his nose is all scraped fat lip and his tongue is cut, my poor baby, but he seems just fine not complaining about it at all. Again we are having record temps in Ontario, beautiful day and DH is bugging me to get off the pc and come outside so I'll have to make this short.

Personals:

LEE - OMG my birthday is the same as your DH

PARIS - Nathan is going to be a toddler as long as I say, I can't come to terms that he is growing up yet, so I will be sticking around! It's okay if you tease, hey I think I give you more than your fair share.

SARAHG - I know it's probably hard as hell for you right now, but good for you girl sticking up for yourself and your kids, I have the utmost respect for a woman who will put her children's needs before those of herself or her man, YOU GO GIRL!

BARBARA - You enjoy this beautiful weather! Have a great day.

Okay got to go and be the good mommy and wife, DH is calling so I am off to play with my Two Children.

Lee here. Hey moms.
I promise no monster post. LOL But, I wanted to share one more funny story about Hunter. Really about his birth. As I have said he was born on November 20,1997. The day after the lady who had 7. Bobbie Mchough? SOOOOOOOOOO many people in the hospital asked me "Aren't you glad you didn't have 7" or something like that. My response to them was "I didn't have to have 7 babies, because my one baby weighed 3-4 of her babies!!!!!!" Yes, he was the biggest baby in the nursery! Anyway just thought you guys would get a kick out of that.
Gotta go my oldest just lost her mind running in my house.LOL

Hi All, Darleen here, and Nolan too.
It is soooooo hot in our house, Nolan is running around in his diaper. Poor baby :( no Central air here, window air conditioners! Yuk! Oh, Dh is in the same room also now! I hope everyone had a great week-end. The weather here was unbareable yesterday and today, but I'm not complaining because I love the Summer! I hate the heat mind you! My mom, Nolan and I went out for supper last night to a place on Lake Erie, and I mentioned to my mom I was going to take Nolan to the water and put his feet in it. Can you believe it, people were actually swimmimg yesterday! BRRR!! Anyways.....we took Nolan, and as soon as we started to walk in the sand, he lifted both feet up and out of the sand. My mom had one hand, and I had the other. It was hilarious. So I had to carry him to the water. Well.... I got to the water, and tried to stick his feet in it, and he cried because the waves were coming. So needless to say no worries about the beach with Nolan this summer. YAH! I'm not a beach person anyways.

Personals:
Alice- No kidding about the heat eh? This is unusal weather for May. I remeber camping one May 24 week-end, and it snowed. That was long time ago.

Paris-Kick Alice off, her son is too old for this board as of a couple of weeks. LOL! You go girl!!

SararhG- Sorry to hear about you and your Dh, I hope things will be much happier for you now!! Keep smiling!

Wings lost Boo, so now Dh is hoping the Avs kick butt! For those of you that get the show CityLine, my mom, Nolan and I are going on the show on Wednesday live. It is Health and Family Day. I am so excited. It is aired every day at 10:00-11:00am on City T.V. For some of you that get it is either channel 7 or 31.
Well ladies, it is supper time almost so I better go and think about what we are going to have. Have a great night, and week!

Bye for now!

Hi mommies. First Communion went really well. Jesse looked so sweet and innocent with his little hands folded. They sang a song called "I am just a little child" and I got all teary eyed. It was too precious. Jarin was a monster boy as usual. =) My sister came up to our pew and took him to the back since he wanted to crawl on the altar and go see Jess. The kids sat in the middle aisle and parents were sort of across from their kids. Since Jesse is one of the smallest he was right in front. Not a good place for Jarin. LOL

My sweet monster boy had some HUGE fits yesterday! Every time he didn't get his way he started screaming and crying. I sure hope that is a quickly passing phase!

**Rita: Sorry you and Sarah didn't get to meet. I will keep Peyton and Alissa in my prayers. I hope everything turns out ok.
**Theressa: I checked out your site. You have beautiful children. I can't even describe how I felt looking at that angel in the casket. =( You must be a very strong woman. Yes, I hate to hear Jarin cry when I leave. He also has been very clingy lately. LOL at your kids wanting you to leave. =)
**Jamie: When I got my wisdom teeth I thought I had an ear infection too. They even gave me medicine for "swimmer's ear". It bothered me until the pulled my teeth and them BAM! I was back to normal again. It is strange how your teeth affect your ears, throat, etc. LOL at Gabe throwing grass at you for sitting in his chair.
**Christina: Good luck with your job interview. Scary about the guy with the Rottweiler.
**Romaine: Sorry to hear that Mya is being an early bird. Of course Jarin slept in all weekend when I had to get up to take Jesse to first communion practice and then up early today to get ready for First Communion. Jarin came in this morning, nursed and slept until 9:45! He NEVER sleeps that long when I can sleep in! The principal of our school gave all of our Kdg. talk about behavior on the bus after the pants pulling episodes. LOL
**Jenni: So I'm not the only one with a DH who likes to lurk, huh? I swear I think mine gets on here and reads while I'm at work. LOL The "brumm-brumm" sound - I love it when Jarin does that. Too cute. I would love to see NIchola's picture! =)
**Alice: I'm with you - I love the nice weather, but we went from 69-89 with nothing in between! I want some nice comfy 70 weather for a while - I think that's like 23C. We also had to put on the a/c already! I should've known either you or Paris would be our spokesmom! LOL LOL. I hope Nathan's face is better soon. Poor little guy. Good for your DH doing the housework! Mine also did a bunch on Friday to help me get ready for the First Communion lunch. I was so glad to not have to do it all myself! May 28th is my anniversary - we'll be married 12 years!!!
**Paris: You are nuts! Your posts to Alice were cracking me up. You two are crazy. Tom ended up taking off last night, so I didn't get to log on. =(
**Tara: Glad Adriana's lip got better so quickly. Hope your rash heals soon!
**Lee: Our kids always know how to make us feel good, don't they? (Referring to the "fat belly") I lost all my weight and I am pretty small, but have that extra pouch from 3 pregnancies. Anyway, we got all dressed up to go to church for Christmas and Jesses says, "Mom, you look kinda pregnant!" LOL Bet you can guess that I sent that dress back!! I love this site too, obviously since I've been posting for 2 years!! Hunter sounds too cute with the "Thank you" to the waitress. I'm sure they all thought he was too sweet.
**Sarahg: Good to hear from you again!!!! I'm glad your breakup went so peacefully. You sound like you are happier now. I'm sure everything will work out for the best. Good luck to you!! =) I'm sure it's a relief to just know that it's over with for now.
**Barbara: I want to go to the beach and play in the sand!!!
**Charline: I bet Hayden will love his sandbox. I know Jarin sure does. I am in Indiana, so we have six snow days to make up. =( Far, far, far from CA. LOL
**Darleen: LOL about Nolan not putting his feet in the sand and water. Jarin was like that last summer. He just now will walk in the grass. =)

I think I am finally caught up now. Hope you all enjoyed your week-end. I sure hope this week is better for me!!!!!

Julianne here once again--done w/ being grounded from the internet for spending so much time on the Sat night chat the other week. Just kidding. I studied every night for my test so I made myself promise not to get on the internet. That sure was a long week. I just hope I passed the test!

Colton said "luv you" to DH last week!!! Dh was sure strutting around like hot stuff because he got Colton's first I love you. Little traiter anyways.

He has turned into quite the little jabber box lately. He will go on and on and on. Too bad we only can decipher bits and pieces.

It's late and I really should get to bed.

I quickly scanned the posts but didn't remember much. Sorry.

SarahG: Glad the separation went so smoothly. You are a very brave woman doing what was best for your children. I'll be thinking about you.

Patty: Glad Jesse's communion went so well. I took a nap in the hammock today so I got some sun! Yeah.

Hello to everyone else and welcome to the new mommies and tots.

Hello!!!!! Paris here! Well, what an exciting day I had! The rodeo was amazing! I came online to tell you guys about it and Darleen was the only one on! Anyway, what a show!!! Dust, horses, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bullriding, and of course the men doing all this! ha ha. It was in a tiny arena too so I was about 10 feet from the animals. Wow the kids LOVED it!!! Alex was up screaming, "Don't fall off! Oh, wow look at that horse go! Hold on, don't fall off!!!" ha ha. Victoria was yelling, "Mommy, look at all the cowboys! I see lots of COWBOYS!" Like mother, like daughter! What a great day! Peter loved it too. It was his first rodeo. Not mine, but I really missed not going to one for so long. A little quote here, "It's boots and chaps, it's cowboy hats, it's spurs and lettin go. It's the ropes and the reins, it's the joy and the pain and they call the thing rodeo!" LOL Garth Brooks song. Anyway, I don't know if that's exactly right but you get the idea! I love COWBOYS!!! ha ha! And apparently so do my daughters! Quinn was getting a real kick out of it too! She was clapping and waving at all the guys! Guess what I'm going to dream about tonight eh? LOL Oh, any Canadian mommies with preschoolers - feel free to jump over to PST for a little bit. There are only three of us Canadians there and we're getting bombarded by the Americans. ha ha. Okay, on to personals!

Hi Tara!

Lee: The weight just kind of came off on it's own. It's sounds like whatever you are doing is working though! Good luck!

Sarah G: Awesome attitude on the breakup. I'm happy everything went well for you.

Barbara: Thanks for the vote! :0)

Alice: What can I say? LOL I called you tonight. No answer though so I left a message. I'll try again one night this week!

Darleen: See you online tomorrow! Hope it cools down for you.

Patty: I'm glad the first communion went so well! LOG ON! It's easy. Click connect! LOL

Julianne: I'm sure you passed.

Well, I'm off for tonight. I have to be bright and happy for the tballers tomorrow. Our first game is in a couple of weeks. Geez, I want to win! Our pathetic little team is all 4 and 5 year olds and there are only 6 of them. The team we are playing has 5-7 year olds and there are 11 of them! I'm gonna drill their little butts so we can kick some! LOL Anyway, talk to you ladies later. Sorry this is so long. I'm hyper! Night!

Hi all, Jenni & a sleeping Nicholas here! Yesterdays party was a wonderful success! I even set up the wadding pool for the kids, Nicholas' first pool experience, I couldn't get him out! 25 kids in one pool! Can't wait to see the pictures :0). Now if I can only find a place to put all of his new toys. I need to build an extra "wing" on the house just for his stuff.

Paula - Glad you are feeling better.

Alice - Kids and Mc'D's...Nicholas would eat there everyday if I let him

Charline - We had a blast! Thanks for helping keep the warm weather here :0)

Patty - Glad the communion went well. My niece had hers on Saturday - didn't get to see much of it as Nicholas and his cousin Conner wanted to walk around and play instead of sit.

Thats all the personals for now, I need to go do thank you cards. Have a great day - It's already 85 degress here

Hello mums! Boy, it's been kinda crazy around here but I finally get to turn on the computer again for the first time in about a week! I think that's a record for me!

We just got back from backpacking in Algonquin Park - it was beautiful and we didn't get eaten by bears. Which is always nice.

Mia seemed to handle being away from Mommy and Daddy for the first time just fine. She was a little clingly apparently, but no crying or anything. I absolutley can't wait to take her out canoeing or camping with us.

I just about went nuts after the first day without her. I've never been away from Mia for more than a few hours since she was born! When I finally did see her yesterday, she looked so big! It was like she had grown up in the time we were gone!

Does anybody else go 'outdoor adventuring' with their little ones?

I'm a little concerned about her sleeping in a sleeping bag or something else other than her crib. I'm not sure if she'll be able to do it. I'd hate to be out in the middle of nowhere and have her not be able to sleep!

Chow for now, I have a kazillion loads of laundry and unpacking to still do...yipee! And with the aching muscles and sunburn that I acquired, it should be even more fun!

Good morning ladies...SARAH here. Hope you all had a nice weekend. We sure did, and the weather was PERFECT!! Didn't really do a whole lot. Watched the AV's BEAT THE RED WINGS!! on Friday night :) (ok, can you all tell I'm a huge hockey fan???) then went out on Saturday night with a couple of friends (drank WAY too much!), and spent the day with HANNAH and DH yesterday (DH finally had a day off!!!) So, it was nice!!

Now HANNAH crawls up in to her car seat on her own. It's so cute. She's so proud of herself when she does it! She's such a little angel! :)

DARLEEN - OK, you know I won't give you any grief about...well, I'm sure you know (and if you don't, read above) LOL

RITA - You thought it was hot when you were here, you should have been here Friday, it was almost 94!!!! Yep, the traffic does suck here! Pearl Street Mall is pretty neat. I haven't been there in a long time. How are the twins doing??

MOE - I would love a picture of AJ!!

JENNI - Thank you for the picture of Nicholas...way too cute in his car! :) HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! How was the birthday party?

PARIS - Well, I think I gained some weight back on Saturday night alone!!!! UGH! I'm sooo mad at myself. Went out Saturday night (had a great time), but when I got home, I had the munchies BIG TIME!!!! So what did I do...well ate everything I could find!!!

SARAH G. - Glad everything went smoothly for you and DH. Good for you. I know it's hard, but I think you're doing the right thing. Hang in there!

PAULA - Are you feeling better? I'll send you some pictures.

ALICE - YES, YES, YES, I found a sitter!!! :)

PATTY - Sounds like the Communion was very nice! :) Sorry to hear JARIN is still crying when you leave. Does he cry for a long time after you're gone??

TARA - Hope your rash is better. OUCH...poor ADRIANA falling. Hope she's okay! How's the "bottle thing" going?

LEE - I'm the other one that's been chatting with PARIS about loosing weight. I didn't really even try. Just a high metabolism (runs in the family). GOOD FOR YOU loosing 55 lbs!!!! :)

JULIANNE - HEY stranger!! Hope you did well on your test..I'm sure you did! :) So..DH got a "luv you"??? I'm SURE he melted!!! I know I did! :) :) Don't worry, you'll get it.

Well ladies, better go. Hope you all have a great day.

Hello from Rita

Who sent the rain out here? I was hoping that we could have some outdoor time this weekend and no such luck!

Amy is saying more and more things these days. Larry told her that we were having chicken for dinner and she walked around saying "chicky, chicky." I was giving the girls a piece of one of the chocolate rabbits on Sat and she looked up and said "mmmm, candy." Wonder where she learned that one? LOL. I trimmed her bangs after her bath last night - she looks so different.

Twins Update - The bigger twin (Alissa) is on a ventilator, but hopefully not for long.
Janelle (mom) came home on Friday. Brian (dad) has been camping out at the hospital with the twins. The little one fits in the palm of his hand. I hope to hear more soon.

Sarah g - I am glad to hear that things went smoothly with the break-up. Your children are most important. Keep doing what you are doing to make a good life for your family.

Patty - Glad to hear that Jesse's First Communion went well. We have one to attend on the 20th. I am not too sure how well the girls will do. Maddy kept running up to the pulpit at Amy's Baptism. Do I have a performer or what?

Paris - Now now, aren't the Canadians overwhelming the Yanks on PST?

Maryann - We take the girls camping, but have a trailer. We took Maddy tent camping at six months and had a miserable experience - it was to cold, the wind was scary, etc. We will be getting an inflatable boat this year. I would prefer a canoe, but DH wants to fish and have a trolling motor. I want to wait awhile before we have them out in the boat and this is a big debate right now. I used to backpack and look forward to do that kind of thing when the girls are older. Debbie (who sometimes posts here) does a lot of outdoor things with her girls.

Tara - How are you doing? We could use some of your weather up here.

Gotta go. Take care everyone!

Katy here

Sorry I haven't written more, but miderms are upon me, I have been busy!!

Well it turns out Liam was not sick because of his allergies. He'd gotten sick again on Friday and we figured out what was wrong. Both times he was sick, the night before he'd had a bath with these new bubbles we'd got. He'd eaten the bubbles and then got sick the next day. So now he's not going to have those bubbles anymore. So Liam is better, but I think he may be entering the stage where he doesn't eat much, because he doesn't eat a lot when he's at hoem. I think he eats more at daycare, but I'll have to ask about it tomorrow.
Anyway, got to go work more, have a good day.

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a long time it's been since I last visited this site! I sure have missed you all!

Well, we are now in Georgia. We've been here for about 3 weeks... and what a busy 3 weeks it's been. We did some serious house hunting the first two weeks and fell in love with one! I'm so excited! We made an offer and this last week it went back and forth with negotiations. But, we do have a contract on it now and closing day is in about 4 weeks. YEA!! We've been staying with my mom and that has been going better than expected. I get along with my mom dearly, but I didn't know how it would be tomove back in for a little while.

Rob has been in Boston the past 2 weeks for training. :( I've been busy getting our loan papers together, scheduling an inspector, and all the other really fun stuff it takes to get a house. Elizabeth has been doing GREAT!!! She's talking up a storm. There's nothing that she won't say (I have to watch very carefully every word that comes out of my mouth). She's growing up so fast! She's losing that baby look and looking more like a little girl. Boo hoo!! I just melt every time I look at her... she's just so precious!

I've been doing really good... just staying very busy and very tired! My energy level goes down by mid-afternoon and It's getting harder to keep up w/ Elizabeth. I had my first OB appt. here in Georgia the other day. She scheduled me for a US in 4 weeks. I can feel the baby move a lot now and I forgot what a wonderful feeling that is!

Anyway, I just wanted to check in with you gusy and let you know that we are still around. I hope you all are doing great! Take care!

Hello Everyone! Moe here. Really nice weather today, yesterday was 98!!!!Hello!!I had to change my bra twice I was sweating!!I was too cheep to run the A/C. It is too early. Today it is better, 64 degrees now. Nice and cool, just the way I like it.
AJ really likes to be out, but mommy can not stand the heat. Today at lunch the phone rang and he said "I did it" ( I get it) It sounded so cute!!:) He is really putting sentenses together now. He will be 21 months on the 17th of this month. My Baby is growing BOO HOO.

Charline- I am always wanting to get a pool for my boys but one year I had one and I happened to look out the window and saw my dog peeing in it!!!If I get one, it will have to be one of those little ones so I can dump the water out. BAD DOG!!!

Romine- Would it be nice to sleep all night just once!!DH sometimes sleeps with the boys so I can have a night of uninterrupted sleep!!

Jenni- Glad you had a fun party!

Paula - I will send some heat up to you anytime. July it is a really baking. I can cook eggs on the sidewalk. At least It is not humid. We have the dry heat. Like an oven!

Alice - No fighting between you and Paris. Wait until I get my bookie in order so we can all place bets!!!LOL PS I would not even think of kicking you off the board!!!

Patty- Does Jarin go to a DC? Maybe there is a kid that is not nice to him and he doesn't want to go and just wants to be with you. I had a friend that her child did not want to go to DC because of a mean kid. Just a thought. By the way..I have lots of Kansas trivia and Wizard of Oz trivia too!! LOL

Paris and Alice - You too crack me up!! By the way Paris, I tried to seed you pics and it keeps coming back. I will try again later.

Tara - Ouch poor Adriana. AJ gave me a fat lip the other day on accident with a sippy cup. OH!

Lee - Good luck on the weight loss. I was one of those PG girls that people hated. You could'nt tell I was PG until I stood up I was all baby. I had a ball in my tummy. Then I had my 9 pounder and went back to my weight I only had 3 pounds to lose. Thank goodness, cuz I love to eat. Girls hate me too cuz I eat and don't excercise. But my legs have "Hail Damage" if you know what I mean!!I really need to tone up. HE HE

Sarah G - Good luck to you and your family. I am sure everything will go fine!

Barbara- The beach sounds fun. I am scared to have my kids close to water. I am planning on swim lessons. We don't have any lakes around us, if you want to count a sand pit!! We do have the Arkansas River that runs through, but who wants to go to a river? This river is not very nice in our part anyway!!

Darleen - Sorry NO AC! I am just cheep to turn it one you know why!!

Julieanne - How do you do it! No internet for a week!! Missed you on the board!

Maryann - If we had country side like you, I would take my kids camping etc. We do have a buffalo range. The Game commission takes people out in the field "Where the Buffalo Roam", LOL I heard it is a cool experience. The buffalo get right up to the vehicle!!

Lisa B- I tried to seen you pics and It came back, I will try again later.

To everyone else...Have a good day!!

Hey, me again! :)

I just saw KELLI's post and wanted to respond...

KELLI - It is soooo good to hear from you. I think of you and E all of the time!!! Glad you are all moved to Georgia safely! :) Good luck with the house. That's great it's going so well staying with your mom. It's so great to hear how much ELIZABETH has been learning. I know what you mean about loosing the "baby look"!! :( I see you still have the same email address, so I'll drop a little note to ya!

Hey, has anyone heard from LISA??? I've been trying to "get ahold" of her. She lives in Missouri (I think) where they just got those TERRIBLE downpours. Hope everything is okay with her!!!

Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hello Moms & Tikes, Christina here! Well very busy weekend trying to keep up with Lys and getting stuff done. Friday night me and the BF went miniture golfing after Lys went to bed, that was nice. Saturday I finally went out with the girls and stayed out till about 4am! what a bear I was yesterday. sunday just tried to catch up with laundry, cleaning, cooked dinner and lunch for today! I think I was done at around 11:30pm and then sat up till around 12:30 to paint my toes- finally!! Oh and me and the BF went and had our pictures taken because we do not have one picture together that are decent.

I did get that job on Friday and start my training next week. For 2 weeks I will go to work all day and then from 5:30 to 10:30 will be in class for training for my new part time job! This is gonna be fun!

Lys was feeling better on Saturday and we went out and about and took her to the Forest preserve to run around and she was sweating so much adn it was so cute - she was like ma-ma oh my gosh hot!! how cute she was and we went to Mc Donald's for shakes and she got strawberry and i got chocolate. She did not want to drink her own so it was cute she was trying to fight with me!

Yesterday she was with her aunt so I had time to recover!

Gotta go, catch up later with personals!

Personals:

Alice: Good for you on having a day off - must of felt good=) Lys is feeling better, thanxs for the advice.

Patty: Thanks!! :)

Lee: I understand the weight issue, I gained 65pds with my son and 45 with Lys! I had just lost all my weight last Sept. and then me and the BF stay in and munch too much so now I am trying again! Keep the faith and before you know it the weight will be gone! =)

Sarah: Way to go girl with the DH. Try now just to keep the family together and the kids are happy and stress free! :) :) :)

Patty: Thanks - I did get the job!! I am happy! :) Hate the job hunting thing.

Moe: It was 98 yesterday - where do you live? It is about 90 here today in Illinois and tornadoe warnings of course!

Well I better get on my way home and get dinner started before the awful weather they are calling for starts! Everyone have a great night and sleep tight to the little ones.

:) Talk to ya tomorrow!

hello everyone, Jamie here. It has been kind of busy around here, it being the week before finals. Its suppposed to be dead 'week' but we only really get three days. Not surprising. John and I went out Saturday, and while I had a blast, it is so hard to take care of Gabe the next day! He still has no new teeth. He has also been trying to mimic my fish-face, which is REALLY cute. He has a very expressive face, and makes the funniest faces all the time. Nothing much else new here.

Jenni - Gabe does the 'brrom-broom' sound, also. Whenever he sees a motorcycle, he says "brrom-broom Da-da" and also does it when playing with anything with wheels.

Paula - sorry you were so sick

Alice - Medicine acts weird with me, so I very rarely take any. Tylenol 13 makes me hallucinate!

SarahG - I am sorry to hear you are going through such emotionaly trying times, but happy moms make happy children, and your children will eventually understand and respect that fact that your obvious priority it their well-being. I am sending some good Karma your way (if I have any left!)

Barbara - I think Dante forgot to mention Houston when he was going through his rings of hell, because in the summer, thats exactly what it feels like! It gets even hotter here (ft.worth had over a month over 100 last august) sometimes hitting 110, and its dry heat which I am not used to. When I first moved here I had never used moisterizer before, and my skin almost flaked right off my body!

Paris - You should aome visit me in 'cowtown' if cowboys are your 'thing'. They never were mine, although I did go to the Houston rodeo every year, mostly for the concerts.

Maryann - I know exactly what you mean about how much bigger they look after you have been away.

Katy - glad to hear its not allergies!

Kelli - Congratulations on a new house! How far along are you?

Moe - Tubing down the Guadelupe River is awesome! Just tie some beer to your tube to keep cool in the water, and off you go!

LisaB - WHERE ARE YOU!?

Well, thats all folks...

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. It has been so hot here that we didn't even go outside today. Hayden was not feeling good today. He was very clingy and crying over every little thing. Come to find out that he just got tooth #4 not where I was looking and he has the worst diaper rash. His poor little bum looks so red and irritated:( No wonder why he was out of sorts today.

I finally scanned some pictures of Hayden from his Birthday and St.Patty's Day. I did send some out to some of you. If anyone else, would like to see the little guy just let me know.

Alice-What a wonderful DH you have to give you such a great gift for Mother's Day! Sorry to hear about Nathan's fall. I hope that all his bumps, cuts, and scraps heal quickly.

Patty-Glad to hear that Jarin's communion went so well. So, you live in Indiana. I don't know why I always pictured you in CA. I guess I just pictured you laying out in the California sunshine.(LOL!)

Julianne-That's so cute that Colton said luv you to your DH.

Paris-It sounds like you had a blast at the rodeo.

Jenni-Glad to hear that Nicholas's party went so well. It was a scorching 91 degrees here in Mass. yesterday. We actually put the a.c. on. Happy Anniverary!

Maryann-Welcome back! Glad to hear that you had a nice trip and that Mia did well away from Mommy & Daddy.

Moe-I would love to see a picture of A.J. We didn't get the pool yet. LOL! about the dog peeing in it! Wow, 98 degrees! I thought that 91 was hot yesterday. We did put the A.C. on though.

Rita-Amy sounds so cute saying mmm candy. Thanks for the twins update. I will continue to keep them in my prayers.

Katy-Good luck with midterms. Glad to hear that Liam is feeling better.

Tara-Too funny about Adriana putting dip in her hair and thinking that is was shampoo.LOL!

Kelli-Congrats on finding a house. Good luck with the closing and moving.

Christina-Glad to hear that Lys is feeling better. Congrats on getting the job!

Jamie-Too cute with Gabe trying to imitate your fish face.

Hi to everyone that I have missed. Have a good night everyone.

Colton sure was a funny boy tonight. He was full of smiles and giggles. However, he had to eat supper cuddling in my lap. He was tired since he missed his nap on the ride home--I told him to stay awake as we were going to stop at Grandma's house on the way home to pick up some flowers from their greenhouse.

Paris: The rodeo sounds like fun. We are thinking of giving MIL some tickets for Mother's Day. Colton loved his first rodeo so I am sure he would have fun going again. Too cute of Victoria going nuts over all the cowboys.

Jenni: Happy birthday to Nicholas (late). Wow, what a pool party. They sure do haul in the loot on their first b-day!

Maryanne: Sounds like you had a great outdoors adventure. We have a tent that has only been used once--about 8 years
ago. I hope to convince DH to go camping w/ Colton sometime soon as my parents took us often when we were kids and it
was so much fun. Dh likes to be pampered on vacations--unless its fishing in Canada w/ the bears!

Sarah: Looks like we are back to calling our hockey team the "Dead Wings"! Today Colton climbed into the truck and ended up in the back seat. The next thing I knew he was upside-down in his car-seat in the front. What a climbing monkey I have.

Rita: For years as a kid we had Sunday dinner at Grandma's house and we always got excited when we were having "chicky". Thinking about chicky sure brought back some good memories. I will keep the twins in my prayers.

Katy: Those were some strong bubbles--glad you figured out what was making Liam sick.

Tara: Too cute Adriana putting the chip dip in her hair--special conditioner maybe???

Kelli: Great to hear from you, I have been wondering how you were doing. Yeah for finding a house. Sounds like you have your hands full between Elizabeth and the new house paperwork.

Moe: 98degrees? wow, get that AC going! It's in the high 70's and we are talking about hooking ours up.

Christina: Yeah for getting the job. Too cute about Lys telling you how hot she was getting running around. Why is it that our food/drink always looks so much better than their own?

See ya all later.

On to personals:

PATTY- Actually I'm with you on the weather, I prefer the 70's much better. Glad the First Communion went well, good for DH helping you out also, they are pretty good guys when you think about it aren't they. Hey our Anniversary is on May 18, 9 years for us, Wedding Anniversary is in January. Paris is the crazy one I just humour her. LOL :-)

JULIANNE - Welcome back, we missed you, hope you did well on your test. I remember those days when Nathan started to "gibber", my advise just keep saying, oh yes, Mmmm Hmmm, that's right honey. LOL

PARIS - Glad you had fun at the rodeo, you little cowgirl. I was outside with the Neighbours when you called, I still am having trouble with MSN, trying to get it programed this week.

JENNI - You just reminded me of a funny story, a little long but here goes, yesterday Nathan had his picnic table outside and Daddy was bringing it in he asked where does this thing go again, so Nathan tells him in my toy room not my bed room the room with all of my toys, so I say to Nathan, you know honey when Mommy and Daddy have a new baby Nathan can't have a toy room anymore because it will have to be the baby's room, Oh, he says so were will we put all of my toys, well I tell him we will just have to find room in your bedroom, so he thinks about it for awhile and tells me that, No I think that the baby will have to make enough room for my toys to fit. Then he asks when will the baby be here so I tell him maybe in 2 more birthdays, he thinks he is so smart so he replies, that's a long time away Mommy we can get a new house for the baby to sleep in her own room. LOL I thought it was funny, just thought I would share sorry to go on so long. :-)

MARYANN - Good for you and the wildnerness and backpacking, God I'm lucky if I can take Nathan for a walk to the lake and the park. Just don't have that getting close to nature in me. LOL

SARAH - You know what girl, I have seen the pics of you and I don't want to hear you complaining about weight okay, your a skinny little thing. :-) Glad you found a sitter.

RITA - That's soo funny Amy calling Chicken, "chicky". Nathan used to call it the exact same thing till about 3 months ago. Sounds like the twins are doing okay, hope everything goes well, we will be thinking about them.

TARA - Too funny about Adriana putting the dip in her hair. LOL

MOE - Listen Paris is the trouble maker I'm just an instigator, Thanx for the vote on letting me stay. Oh yeah thanx for the pics but I can't open them, I'm gonna see if DH can do something so I can open them.

CHRISTINA - Congratulations on getting the job!!!

P.S. - Glad that Paris and I can be such great entertainment, all I can say is we try, and we will continue to do our best.

Night everyone, have a great day tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have been stripping paint, and applying new paint; pulling down old fences and building new ones, it was an exhausting weekend. We were there for 10 hours on Saturday, and poor Caelen did not nap the whole day (no surprise in a strange and empty house). I felt so guilty by the time we got home, he was so tired. I did however manage to get him to nap there on Sunday, and what a relief.

Charline and Jenni-Thank-you for the pictures of your beautiful children. I hope to get a Kodak Cd soon so I can send some of my little angels.

Beth-Thankyou for the pictures of your family. It is great to finally put a face to someone on this board. I will email you soon, it is so neat that you are so close to my Dad.

Patty-Wonderful to hear that Jesse's First Communion was so nice.
Sweetmonster boy? Isn't that an oxymoron LOL!!!! I know exactly what you mean by it.

Paris-You sound like you had a terrific weekend at the rodeo.

Maryann-We were considering taking Caelen camping this year, but I had the same concerns as you, so we might just wait till next year. Glad to hear your week away went so well, and that Mia did so well too!

Sarah-Yeah Red Wings. I hope I have the right team. They're still playing hockey in May? I think that I am one of the only Canadian's who doesn't know when the Stanley Cup is.

Rita-Cute that Amy said "mmm Candy". Caelen has his mommy's love for chocolate, that is one of the few words that he says clearly.

Hi to all that I have missed, and hope that you all have wonderful Tuesdays.

See Ya (well you know what I mean) tomorrow,

I went out of town this weekend so I am way far behind. I skimmed the posts, but it seems that noone has anything better to talk about then their toddlers! LOL (imagine that) Anyway I might catch up later, or I might not. Depends on how much sleep I really want.

Alice - hey board spokesmom can't you do something to get the page to load faster (archive or something) Please it is taking forever.
BTW - saw you on PST, graduation isn't that far off!

Christina - In case you haven't found my site address by now - personal page http://rtnorman.homestead.com and my book website it http://alaboroflove.homestead.com

Everyone else - hope you all had a great weekend (I did) and I'll chat back at you later!

Good morning ladies..SARAH here. We had such a great night last night. HANNAH was soooo good. It was one of those night's where I didn't have to get mad at her AT ALL!!!! :) :) :) I got home from work and we all (DH, HANNAH, and I) went shopping and got some clothes (YEA!) and then just went home, but just had such a nice time together!!! :) HANNAH was soooo cute this morning, as I was leaving for work (both her and DH were still asleep), I heard her start to fuss (which means milk time), so I brought her a bottle. She looks up at me 3/4 asleep, and blows me a kiss! Too cute!!!!!! :) :)

Well, on to personals:

I've been trying to get in touch with LISA! I emailed her at work and at home yesterday morning, then posted on here about her. I hope she's okay!

CHRISTINA - Congrats on getting the job. What is it doing?

JAMIE - HANNAH makes the goofiest faces, too.

CHARLINE - HEY...I didn't get pictures!! Please send some.

JULIANNE - Too funny about COLTON being upside down in his car seat! LOL

ALICE - OK....you just made my day!! I love you man! Thank you for the compliment! YOU ARE SOOO SWEET! :) Very cute story about NATHAN and having to move his toy when you have another baby.

PAULA - Yep, you had the wrong team! The Colorado Avalanche beat the Detroit Red Wings. They will have to get through 1 more "round" (best 4 out of 7 games) playing the Dallas Stars. And then it's the Stanley Cup FINALS!!!

Well, I'm gonna go get my morning coffee! :0

I'll jump back on later.

Hi all, Jenni and sleepy Nicholas here....Monkey was sooo tired this morning, he was eating his cherrios and orange, yawned, put his head down in the bowl and fell asleep! And Mom without film!!!! Oh well. Another hot one today, gotta fill the pool

Kelli - Good luck on the closing! Congrats on your pg! How far along?

Moe - It's already 85 degrees here, I love it. I got Monkey one of those blow-up pools and dump it out everynight, too many weird animals around here

Christina - Congrats on the job

Jamie - Nick does it when he sees BIG trucks. Fishy face is too cute. When Nick was a newborn he would do that everytime he went pee-pee

Charline - Thanks! I have the a/c on today.

Julianne - Thanks! Still trying to find a place to put all of his new stuff

Alice - I love it, a new house for the baby to sleep in! What a smart little guy you have

Paula - You are welcome. Can't wait to see pics of yours!!!

Sarah - Too cute! Blow Hannah a kiss from Nicholas

Well, I better go clean something....talk to you later. Hi to anyone I missed.

Hi from long-lost LisaB. I was in training all day Friday, spent 6 hours Saturday morning shopping at garage sales for Max and the baby, spent 4 hours Saturday afternoon working on laundry and housework (DH started it all but with Max he didn't get much accomplished - LOL!!!), spent 5 hours Saturday night at a dinner/threatre put on my the local high school choir, spent all day Sunday grocery shopping and going to the nurseries for plants and then working in the veggie and flower gardens, and spent all day Sunday ironing/helping putting up my clothes line (after moving in 2 years ago I FINALLY have one!!!)/working in the garden. I'm wiped out. Work almost seems like a break today!!!! I can honestly say right now that bed rest sounds desirable (I know, Romaine, Leanne would kick my butt for that comment!!!!). Max was a doll all weekend. We were blowing bubbles yesterday and he started saying "bubba-bubba" while he tried to catch the bubbles. He got so upset when they all popped as he caught them - LOL!!! He also found a little turtle on the back porch and had fun playing with it with Daddy, until they released it in the pasture.

First of all, BIG THANKS to Moriah and Sarah for their e-mails and for everyone on here asking where I was. The bad flooding in Missouri was about 90 minutes away from me (near where our field trip on Friday is) so we are all ok!!! I was just too busy over the weekend to post. I downloaded the posts Saturday night and read them but didn't have any free time to post!!!! So ... several of these are old, but bear with me!!!!

MOE: How great that AJ told Jalen he loves him!!! We got a video camera when Max was little and tape him quite frequently.

MICHELLE: It's great to hear from you!! Don't be a stranger!!!

ALICE: Yep, Max is pretty accident prone. His face is completely healed ... and then this weekend he scraped one finger up bad on a brick. He's 110% boy, that's for sure - LOL!!! It sounds like Nathan is also, with his banged up face. The poor little guy.

HELEN: Amanda sounds adorable doing happy dances in the sand.

REBECCA: I'm sorry Paige didn't get the commercial. How awful they butchered her hair; I hope your cousin can fix it. If not, she can hook up with Max. I cut his hair myself and it's always crooked. It kinda matches his ornery personality - LOL!!!! I love rummage sales for the same reason you like garage sales. I often get name brand stuff (Disney store, Baby Gap, Osh Kosh, etc.) that looks new - for a FRACTION of the new price. I love it when some of my "snotty" friends go on and on about Max's clothes being so cute - LOL!!! I guess that's why DH and I have so much in savings. After growing up near the proverty level, I'm still frugal - regardless of the amount of my paycheck!!!

PARIS: I hope Quinn is back to normal soon.

SHARONA: I've been lucky in that Max LOVES medicine. He sees the dropper and opens his mouth like a little bird. Of course that means I have to be especially careful to ensure he can't get to any of the medicine, as he would probably drink it like juice.

KATY: I hope Liam feels better soon.

LEE: How funny ... and gross ... about the boogers! Max reads CONSTANTLY but doesn't talk a whole lot yet. Your kid stories were all so cute!!!

CHRISTINA: First Max and now Alyssa. You would think parks would be a SAFE place for our toddlers to play. I'm glad she survived her fall ok. How sweet saying "I'm ok, I scared Mama"!!!

RITA: I'm glad you got some "Rita" (versus "wife" and "mommy") time on your trip. The twins are in my thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine a baby being that tiny.

JAMIE: How funny, Gabe "forcing" you out of HIS chair!!! Max doesn't have that problem - my pg behind wouldn't fit in any of his - LOL!!!!

THERESA: Michelle (Riley's mom) set up a website with photos and bios of our toddlers. The address is www.membersxoom.wowsmom.com (or something similar).

ROMAINE: Good luck with potty training.

PAULA: I hope you feel better soon.

PATTY: Jarin sounds cute, trying to hide from you under the towell!!! Max beat up on me during his post-bath "naked baby hug". He hugged me really big ... and then used one fist to beat on my back as he bit my shoulder. The little stink-pot!! Thanks for the Mimii update. She's often in my thoughts. Are the kids with her or Jimmy? I hope the fits are a SHORT phase. My DH, unlike yours and Jenni's, thinks I'm a little whacky spending the little free time I have talking to "strangers" on the computer. It's funny though - he's always asking me about Moriah and Alex. I guess their story touched his "manly" heart as much it did all of ours!!

PARIS: I'll pass on MSN messenger, IM, and all that. I mainly use the computer at work (download posts 1st thing in morning and read/response as I have a free moments here and there) so I can't really chat there. I'm lucky to find time at home to read e-mail and the boards ... neverlone chat. That's my precious family time!!!! Then again, you guys will probably get tired of my constant posts when I'm home on maternity leave - LOL!!!

TARA: I'm glad Adriana's lip healed so quickly.

SarahG: HI!!! I'm glad the break-up transition is going so well for you.

DARLEEN: It's probably a good thing Nolan is scared of the waves - keeps him safe a little while longer!! I would love to see you on TV but it sounds like it's only on a Canadian channel.

JULIANNE: YEAH on Colton saying "luv you" ... but I agree he sound have said it to Mommy first!!!

PARIS: How great that the kids enjoyed the rodeo so much!!! Yep, you got all the words right for the Rodeo song!!!

JENNI: I'm glad the party went so well!!! It got up to 89 here yesterday so I caved and kicked on the central air (after telling DH we needed to "check it" and ensure it worked before it gets REALLY hot ... he was protesting that I couldn't turn it on as it's only the beginning of May).

MARYANNE: Backpacking sounds like fun. I'm glad Mia survived your absense so well!!! It sounds like it was harder on you!!!

SARAH: YEAH for Hannah crawling in her car seat by herself!! Growing up, isn't she?!

JENNI: Did you send me photos of Nicholas? I saw that Sarah got one and I don't remember receiving any. Of course I'm 1/2 brain dead anymore. I BLAME it on the pg - LOL!!!

RITA: I guess Maddy is teaching Amy how to vocalize, huh?!

KATY: Good luck with mid-terms!! I'm glad it was just the bubbles and not allergies - much easier to fix the problem!!!

TARA: Adriana sounds so cute, dipping her hair in the dip!!! Of course, that made a lovely mess for YOU to clean up, didn't it?!!!

KELLY: Hi stranger!!! I feel for you, living with your Mom. DH and I lived with MIL during the last month of my pg with Max, as we waited for the builders to complete our house. I've never gotten along with my MIL as well since. I can feel my baby move a lot now also, but DH and Max can't feel it yet. I ask Max where HIS baby is and he lifts up my shirt and lays his head on my belly!!!

MOE: If you can't get my hotmail address (lisa_lab@hotmail.com) to work, try my home address (hieber@socketis.net). I only check the home one on weekends but it doesn't have the file limitations and other restrictions I sometimes run into with the hotmail address.

CHRISTINA: I LOVE miniature golfing, even though I'm not very good at it. YEAH on getting the job!!!!

CHARLINE: I hope Hayden's diaper rash is better soon.

ALICE: How funny, Nathan not wanting to give up his toy room for the baby!!! We're getting rid of our spare bedroom furniture and I'm looking forward to putting Max's bed and toys in there ... esp. as the toys are overrunning the house. I'm going to get a hide-a-bed couch or love-seat to either put in Max's room or in the family room in the basement.

PAULA: Max is a BEAR when he misses a nap, so I'm sure you had your hands full.

SARAH: Come on, I didn't think YOU ever got mad at Hannah!!!!

JENNI: I had forgotten about Nicholas being "monkey boy"!!!!

Hi moms from hot and sweaty Sue and Cam. Today is day #3 of 90+ temperatures - just my favorite kind of weather - NOT! I'd be happy if it was about 70 degrees year round. At least I'm here in the air-conditioned office. Sunday was so hot it was actually unbearable in the sun. I sat out on the deck for 45 minutes while Cam napped and got a major sunburn - right where the bra straps go of course. Ouch!

Despite the heat, we did have a fun weekend. We discovered that Cam LOVES running through the sprinkler. I thought he wouldn't like the icy cold water, but we have some video of him jumping up and down under the sprinkler in a big mud puddle just cracking up like a lunatic. Too cute!

Cam is really starting to say a few distinguishable words now. He even said "Gramma" the other day at my in-laws. I think I'd really better start to watch what I say before he gets too good at repeating!

Sorry no personals - work is a zoo.

Oh - only one: LISAB - did you guys make out okay with all that flooding in Missouri? Hope everyone is alright.

Chat again soon...

Hi! Paris here! Quinn is doing the most adorable thing right now and of course I don't have film. Oh, but I do have a webcam! Duh, hang on gotta make a video. Geez, she got out! Anyway, she was sitting in my stock pot with tigger and her teddy bear! Too cute! So, I haven't posted for over 24 hours. Wow eh? Okay, on to personals.

Maryann: Glad you had a fun trip!

Moe: I don't know why your pics would keep coming back unless you saved them as bitmaps .bmp files. They would be too big for hotmail to accept. Try oberlein@telusplanet.net :0)

Christina: Congrats on the job!

Charline: I'd like pics of him!!!

Paula: Sounds like you had a busy weekend!!! Shame on you re: hockey! LOL

Jenni: Too cute about Nicolas falling asleep! ha ha.

LisaB: Fellow country music fan? Or just Garth Brooks? :0)

Alice: I think we are the entertainment on this page! LOL

Hello to everyone else. I thought someone on this page (Theressa) was a rodeo queen. Hmmm, maybe on PST. Anyway, someone told me to go for rodeo queen! LOL You're not getting me on a horse. I'm so scared of those things. Although, I could be persuaded by a really nice lookin' cowboy! ha ha! And of course a bottle of vodka! Okay, I'm outta here! bye for now.

Hi ladies, Charline & Hayden here. It is another hot one here today, but it is suppose to cool down tonight.
Hayden is 13 months today. I can't believe a month has pasted already since his party. Boy, does time fly by when you have a toddler.

Alice-Your walk around the lake sounds nice. Thanks for the pics of Nathan. He is a cutie.

Paula-Wow, it sounds like you deserve to be tired after all that work you did. I look forward to seeing the pics of your kids when you get them.

Sarah-Too cute about Hannah blowing you kisses this a.m.:) I will send you pictures after I post.

Jenni-Your welcome. Nicholas sounds so cute falling asleep in his bowl.

LisaB-You certainly deserve to feel wiped out after all the work that you did over the weekend plus being pregnant. I hope that you can rest a little now:) Thanks for wishing that Hayden' s diaper rash goes away quickly.

Sue-I agree with you that this heat is unbearable. I can't believe the weather that we are having and it is only the beginning of May. Cam sounds so cute running through the sprinker!

Paris-Quinn sounds too cute sitting in your stock pot with Tigger and her Teddy Bear:) I will send pictures to you after I post.

I hope that everyone has a nice night.

Hello Girls, Moe here. AJ not feeling good today. He was whinning when I left for work and did not want to eat his pancakes. He must be sick. He took a morning nap, which he normally does not do. I wonder if he is sleeping now. Last night he was wearing my heals and DH told him to "give those to mom" he came up to me an flip his foot up and the damn shoe hit me in the face!! If it was not for my pop bottle glasses the heal would have hit me in the eye!! Boy I was cry/laughing!! Why me!!??

Christina - Congrats on your new job. I live in Western Kansas. We get all kinds of weather. Not quite the humidity like you have. We also get tornados too. I get tired of the sirens. It is a good thing we stay in the basement.

Jamie - Tubing! They do that here but parts of the river is low and you end up dragging your butt!! I am not a water person. Swim yes, rivers, lakes, no.

Charline - Is Hayden's rash better? Send me a pic too! I will send you one, hopefully you can open it.

Julianne- I should turn on the AC, but ever since we bought a business, I have to watch my pennies. I will camp out downstairs for now. The other day everyone had their shirts off and DH told me to take mine off too, "No one can tell, I am bigger than you" the little SOB

Alice - The story on the toys is cute :0 )

Sarah - How cute about the kiss!!

Jenni - Does it get real hot where you live? I will get a plastic pool, a small one. Maybe I will have to get a cover, so at least that way it will stay warm.

Lisa I am glad you were not MIA!! I will try that address.

Paris - Whatever, I don't know anything about computers, so I will try that address.

Well everyone else have a good one!!

Hi mommies. I just tucked monster boy in for his nap. He was living up to his nickname since I came home from work. LOL. I put him on the counter and he threw everything on the floor, then he went and got the pop out of the cupboard and put all the cans on the floor. He would lift each can up, pretend to drink it, and then put it back down. Then he ran around all over the place, climbed all over me, and we just giggled at each other. I bet we played for a good hour. He is so much fun!! And the best news - this morning I left to go to work and he was staying with SIL and he didn't cry at all today! Yay!

**Julianne: Glad you're back from your forced separation from us. heehee. Yay for Colton saying "I love you!" Jarin still hasn't said it yet and he'd better not say it to DH first!
**Paris: Sounds like your whole family thoroughly enjoyed the rodeo. Too funny that your daughters are already taking after you looking at the cowboys! I know, I know, I have to log on, but I have to get some TIME!! I've never been to a rodeo before. Sounds like I must be missing out!
**Jenni: Sounds like Nicholas's birthday was a success. I know what you mean about needing an additonal wing for all the toys. Jarin could open his own toy store, I think! The picture with 25 kids in a wading picture sounds adorable. =) NO! You surely didn't miss a picture of Nicholas asleep in his bowl? Bad mommy. LOL
**Sarah: sounds like you had a fun weekend. No, I guess Jarin doesn't cry for too long - until DH can find something to distract him with. I also ate way too much this weekend and put on a couple pounds. I hate it when I do that. And then what did I do last night? Went and got a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen! Yeah, that'll help a lot!! Sounds like Hannah is being her usual sweet self to you again. Love the blowing kisses when she's not all the way awake. =)
**Rita: I can't imagine a baby so small that it fits in the palm of your hand. Keep us updated. Amy sounds too cute with all her new words. Jarin also likes to perform - before Mass started, he went running up to the altar. Of course, mom has to go chase him! How embarassing. =)
**Kelli: Glad you're back and now semi-settled in Georgia. Yay on finding a house. We lived with my ILs for 3 months while our house was being built, so I can relate. Sounds like Elizabeth is doing great and it sounds like you still like her just a little. LOL
**Moe: I love the way they sound when they put their little sentences together. way too cute. Jarin will be 21 months on the 27th of this month, so he and AJ are pretty close. I wish they could stay this age forever. They are so much fun and so precious. No, Jarin doesn't go to DC. I forgot you weren't posting yet when we went through that nightmare. Brief summary - I picked him up one day to hear he had been crying for 4 1/2 hours. He cried every day when I left him. That was the last day I took him. My DCP had too many kids and I think he was overwhelmed. Now DH watches him when he works nights, SIL watches him on Tuesdays and Thursdays if DH works, and my sister watches him on Wed and Fri if DH works. So far it has worked really well and it's given Jarin's two aunts a great chance to get closer to him. He absolutely adores my sister!!! LOL at your legs having hail damage - my upper thighs look like that too. Yuck!
**Christina: Wow - it sounds like you had a busy weekend! Too cute with Alyssa being so hot. =) Congrats on the job!
**Jamie: The fish face sounds too funny. =)
**Charline: Hope Hayden's diaper rash is better soon. I hate it when Jarin cries when his little bum is so sore. I always let him run around naked forever, which he absolutely loves!! Thanks for the pictures of Hayden. He is so cute!!
**Alice: It feels like here we went from winter to summer with no in between. We had 70s for about a week and now it's been like 85 and sooooo hot and humid. I want my Spring laying out weather!! Yep, my dh is an ok guy, well most of the time. LOL. Too cute how Nathan has reasoned that you can have a new house for the new baby to have its own room! =)
**Paula: Yuck - your weekend does NOT sound like fun!! Yep, sweet monster boy, that describes my Jarin to a T!
**LisaB: Glad to hear you and everyone is ok. Sounds like you also had a busy weekend. Those bubbles are just too much fun for our kiddos, aren't they? That's so sweet that at least Moriah's story lets you get on here so you can fill in DH on her and Alex. heehee. Mimii is still going through it, same as before. She gets the kids something like Monday - Thursday and then Jimmy gets them Thursday night-Sunday morning or something like that. It's really weird and it's so hard on her being without them. You know how family oriented she is! We also "caved" and turned on our central air already - it's been 85 here the past three days.
**Sue: That is so neat that Cam loves the sprinkler. I remember lots of days playing in the sprinkler when we were kids! So much fun. =)
**Well, I think that's it girl. OH! Thank you, thank you, thank you webmaster for the archive!!! YAY!

Hi! Sarah g here.
Oh wow! Thanks so much for the many, many kind words of support from everybody!!! What a treat to get online and read all those nice, nice comments. Thanks you guys. I seem to come down from my adrenaline rush from the weekend, and last night and today I've felt more overwhelmed and just emotional about the whole thing. Anyway, despite the hard work, I know I'm doing the right thing.

LisaB- Wow! What a busy weekend! Sounds like you need a well deserved nap!

Kelli- So nice to hear from you!! Congrats on the move!! Glad you all are doing well.

Jamie- Thanks again for your encouragement. What do you study? I'm in school part time, putting off some homework right now....oops :)

Charline- I'd love to see pics of Hayden, I'd be glad to send some out to you of my kiddos as well. Sorry to hear about the heat. We've had unusually cold weather lately.

Julianne- How cute- Colton had to eat cuddling in your lap!

Sarah- Hannah sounds precious blowing kisses half asleep!!

Patty- Yay for Jarin not crying when you left for work!! :)

Oh my gosh- I forgot to mention that Sofia has totally turned into a toddler overnight!!! She woke up on Monday morning walking!!!!!!! Her attitude is growing by leaps and bounds as well! She is getting into everything and even started throwing rice out of her bowl onto the floor tonight. Thank goodness for the dog! LOL! Isn't that gross? Ok, up until now my 2 kids which are 23 months apart have been challenging, but in a normal 1 toddler, 1 baby way. Two toddlers is a whole new world!!!!!! No wonder I've been worn out, with all that's been going on! Oh well, the fun never stops!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Working off of memory here so forgive me if I forget anything.

LisaB-Your weekend sounds like it was busier than mine, I know what you mean about getting a break at work. I saw that you have spoke to Moriah, How is Alex doing?
Your pretty energetic for a big pregnant lady LOL!!!

Moe-Wasn't it AJ who made DH bleed? And now a heel in your face. My bets are on him for the World Boxing Champion 2020.

Paris-What is PST. The only thing that comes to mind for me is Provincial Sales Tax, and I am sure you are not referring to that.

Patty-Your little monster boy sounds adorable.

Sorry, but my memory seems to have faded, I will have to go back and re read. Getting old you know, memory just isn't quite the same.

Back Later,

Hey girlys! It's long lost (again) Moriah! We're doing okay. Alex keeps me sooooo busy!

Alex is doing great. Still a little sick?? off & on - can't figure out what's going on. This may just be some asthma. We see the Dr. on Thursday for a pre-op so we'll see what she thinks. Surgery is Friday - this should be an easy one. Alex is such a trooper.

Alex is blossoming right now. His gross motor skills are steadily improving (we're really hoping for maybe independent walking by his birthday!!) but boy his personality & fine motor skills are through the roof!! He's just so darned funny. He pointed to his picture the other night when I asked him "where's Alex". He's also very in to all the people who love him. He loves to go between his Noni & Auntie just to tease the other one. Stinker! Of course that's a Geoff trait to want 2 women fighting over him (just give him 15 years & all he'll want to add is some mud!LOL)

I just re-did Alex's room. I guess re-did is a little strong but I cleaned it out (it had been our dumping grounds LOL), and added some new pieves from Target. They have the cutest stuff in the Restore Restyle Kids section. I used the star & moon set to compliment the blue & yellow stuff he had already. I
m so happy with it. I want to live in there now! Funny Alex has the nicest room but he actuallly lives in ours! LOL

Just a couple personals!

Lisa B - glad everything is okay with you guys. We were watching the late news & the Missouri story came on & Geoff & I were all upset thinking of you guys. I even went to track down your address on my desk to see what town you lived near to make sure they hadn't mentioned it. Thanks to DH for caring about Alex. :) That made my day. Big ol' softy!

Paula - I'm here, I just do not get to post as often as I'd like to. Alex keeps me busy & Geoff is really busy with work right now so I have extra responsiblities & stuff. Not to mention Alex 3-4 days a week of different therapies.

Christine - Alex was in the NICU his 1st 42 days, then in the PICU for about 3 total months last year. I'm sorry that your son had such a rough time. It's a heart breaking road. From what I understand CMV is nasty stuff. The Dr's where so happy when they found out that not only does Alex have Geoff's blood type but Geoff is also CMV negative. So Alex got only Geoff's blood when he needed transfusions.

A big HI to everyone else! I wish I had more time to get over here, maybe in the future!

Well I've got to sign off, it's after midnight! Chat again soon! Take care everyone!

PS: to all the new ladies - you can check out my website www.zandycards.com for announcements & invitations! **Now back to your regularly scheduled program**

Hi from LisaB. I forgot to mention one of the nurseries we went to on Saturday has a "show garden" set up. One area is the Wizard of Oz ... complete with the yellow brick road, the tin man, the scarecrow, a shack on the Wicked Witch's legs, and a bear with a human face. Max and I must have walked through that part 10 times ... with him saying "ellow-ellow" (i.e., yellow) and pointing at the bear thing!!! This morning he was so busy grinning at the 11-month old girl at daycare that he just waved in my general direction - wouldn't even look at me, the little stinker!!!

SUE: I hope it cools off soon. It was around 70 yesterday - YEAH!!! Cam sounds adorable running through the sprinkler!!! How great that he's saying "Gramma". The bad flooding was mainly in the St. Louis area - we're about 90 minutes west from there and only had some localized flash floods.

PARIS: You BAD, BAD, EVIL mommy. Don't you know a roll of film in the camera and 1+ spare rolls are a REQUIREMENT?!!!!! Yep, I like country music. DH hates it so we listen to classic rock when he's in the vehicle with me (or one of Max's kiddy tapes - LOL!!!!). Actually, I like about ANY type of music.

CHARLINE: Thanks for your comments. I was feeling pretty lazy, but I guess I have gotten a lot done the last few days!!!

MOE: I hope AJ is better soon. He sounds so ornery - him and Max MUST really be long-lost brothers!!!! I can see Max kicking a shoe in my face - AJ better not give him any ideas!!! Us mommies even sound similar. My glasses aren't coke-bottle YET, but I'm having trouble seeing even with them so I need to get a stronger pair. I'm trying to wait until post-pg as the mysterious "they" say pg messes with your eyesite.

CHRISTINA: There's NO way I could stay awake until 10:30 pm these days ... neverlone be alert enough to learn anything. LOL!!!

PATTY: Jarin sounds adorable "drinking" from all the unopenned cans. I'm so glad he quit crying when you leave. I can only imagine how relieved YOU were. Thanks for the update on Mimii. She was always so focused on the kids, I can't imagine how hard it is for her to have them away from her several days a week. BTW, happy Teachers Appreciation Week!!!!

SarahG: YEAH on Sofia walking. 2 toddlers must be hard!!!!

PAULA: PST is pre-schooler today, the board we "graduate" to once our toddlers turn 3.

MORIAH: Best of luck with surgery on Friday. Congrats on Alex pointing at his picture when you asked him where Alex was!!! It sounds like he'll be a real heart-breaker when he gets older, trying to make all the girls jealous of each other - LOL!!!

THERESA: I told DH last night about Nathan's comments on buying a new house so he won't have to give up his toy room and he thought that was hilarious!!

Good morning..SARAH here. Doing good this morning, a little tired. :0

I did some more shopping for DH yesterday. (Poor guy had about 4 shirts to switch off). So, in the end, I bought myself 3 shirts, DH 5 shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of boxers, and HANNAH 2 new outfits...all for $200!!! I'm so excited about that. :)

Something new HANNAH has started saying within the last week is, (well, I'm gonna have a hell of a time spelling it, so I'll spell it exactly like it sounds) "Icarumba" (like the dog for the Taco Bell commercials. She says it in the same little raspy voice the dog does. It is SO funny!!

Well, nothing new here so...

JENNI - HANNAH blushed a little when I gave her a kiss from NICHOLAS!! :)

LISA - Well, you caught me!!! Yes, I do have to admit I get mad a HANNAH "once in a while". LOL LOL :)

SUE - Good for CAM saying new words!

CHARLINE - Happy 13 months to HAYDEN yesterday. I saw an email from you, but haven't opened it yet...must be the pictures! :)

MOE - Thank God for pop bottle glasses!!! LOL

PATTY - Yea for JARIN not crying!! :) YUMMY, I love PBF!!!!

SARAH g. - Yea for SOFIA walking!! Wow, you've got a handful!!!

MORIAH - Good to hear from you! I've been thinking of you alot lately and have been meaning to email you! ALEX will be in my prayers for Friday! +++++

Well, that's all for now. Talk to you all later.

Hey ladies, barbara here.

I wanted to ask a quick question.

I want to visit my family in Ohio, which is a 2 hour plane ride away.

How can I manage stephen on a plane. He is 18 months old and VERY obnoxious (lol).

I already have 2 tickets purchased for us when I was going to go back for my 10 year high school reunion...but we never used the tickets....so he will have his own seat.

Can I get some advice on how to make this work? Since he has his own seat, do i have to strap a carseat on it? how do I handle all of this? I am so nervous that he will make 100 other people miserable for 2 hours on this flight.

Hi again from LisaB. I just heard the MOST depressing news story. I want to pass it along to help protect all our little angels. An area 14-month old died yesterday. His mom was giving him a bath and stepped out of the room for a few minutes. She returned to find him face down. Apparently he fell over and it was too slippery for him to sit back up by himself. A neighbor performed CPR but couldn't revive the child. I hope I depress everyone but I thought this was an important reminder for us all.

SARAH: Enjoy all those new clothes, you bargain hunter!!! Does Hannah watch just a little tv?! LOL!!! Icarumba is such a BIG word for a little girl!!!

BARBARA: I would take your carseat on the plane to help "contain" Stephen and to keep him safe. Also take a bag of snacks - he can't yell too much if his mouth is full of food!!! Also, take a carry-on full of quiet toys and books to entertain him with (coloring books would be great if he likes to scribble). And if he ends up YELLING for 2 hours - remember the other passengers are all strangers and you'll probably never see them again. LOL!!!!

Good Morning all....Jenni and Nick aka Monkey Boy (that's for you Lisa!) here :0)

Just a quick little brag, yesterday Nick and I were playing outside with his Blue's beach chair...I was getting kinda bored so I started humming the Blue's theme and at the end my little Monkey made the Bu-Bow sound! Then started trying to hum too!!!! Sweetest thing in the world to me :0)

LisaB - What a busy few days. I can't let DH read your post or I'll get..."see she can do all that with a toddler and a baby on the way" LOL

Charline - Happy 13 months Hayden!

Moe - I'm in NJ, it does get warm here but not usually until Aug LOL. Did DH freak out when he saw AJ wearing your shoes?

Patty - Yup I missed it! We also lost the charger for the camcorder

Moriah - Glad to hear Alex is doing so well! I'll be thinking of you guys on Friday!

Sarah - I can just picture Hannah's little flirt blush! Too cute.

Okay, I smell something rotten....Monkey on the loose. Hi to everyone I missed!!!

Good Morning,

Just a quick post before I start my day.

Sarah-Wow what a great deal on your purchases. Icarumba-How cute!!

Barbara-What a brave lady you are, travelling with Stephen. I have never done it so I don't have any advise related to personal experience. Maybe try a schedule the flight for around his usual nap time??? And bring lots of ear plugs for the rest of the passengers LOL!!!!! But seriously, don't worry about what the other passengers think, if you want to go and see your family, you should go. Two hours on a plane with a baby is not going to kill them. And he probably wouldn't be the only baby on the flight.

Bye for now,

Hello from Helen&Amanda!!

Barbara-- we flew to Fla in Feb. Amanda had her own seat- had to sit next to the window- airline rule.. and was fine- had snacks, quiet toys I bought for the trip and she fell asleep both ways-- I brought her car seat-- a lillte cramped to hook in but worth it in the long run if something was ever to happen-- have fun! :O)

Well our company is gone- had fun shopping and Amanda was good for us. Ate and shopped too much now its back to reality. I wrote down all the words Amanda has so far-- almost 40!! She is saying 2-3 words together now and really trying to repeat now much more than before.

Well- should go- hope everyone is well--- I'll try and catch-up later.

OOPS- did everyone get the UPSIDE-DOWN pics I sent???? I turned them all and everytime I went to send them they were back the wrong way so thats how they were sent otherwise I still would be trying to figure it out--sorry!

Hello from Rita

Amy has been pretty fussy the past few days and yesterday I finally saw why: the dreaded first set of molars (all four) are on their way in!

Tonight DH and I are going out to see "Gladiator." I know that it will be bloodier than I like, but I do have a weakness for historical epics - especially ones with sword fighting. He he. Since I have been working out I have been bitten by the fencing bug again. I just don't know how to fit it in, yet. (Or how I am going to fit into any of my gear!)

Lisa B - Boy, I am relieved to hear that you guys are doing okay. I always feel a little dumb because I never know what part of a state the moms here live in and I always worry that they are in the thick of the disaster areas. Can you send me some of your energy?

Charline - A lot of our CA sunshine these days is liquid - no tans out here yet. Please send pictures of Hayden.

Kelli - Glad to hear that you, Rob, Elizabeth and the little one are doing well. Good luck with all of the house stuff.

Jenni - I would like to see recent pictures of Nicholas too!

Sarah - Too funny with the Ay Caramba! Hannah sounds a lot like Maddy at the same age.

Barbara - I just asked my sister about this since she has flown internationally with her children and my BIL is in the travel industry. You will need to check with the airline. Some of them will not let you use your carseat. Some may have a little harness for Stephen that hooks into your seatbelt for take-off and landing. I would definitely get a seat for him.

Moriah - Hey there! Alex' room sounds great. I can't wait to redo the girls' room in a couple years. I am thinking of doing a celestial theme, too. (I am tired of Winnie the Pooh) We'll be thinking of you guys on Friday. Can I purchase a gift certificate from Zandy Cards? I am thinking that that would be a good gift for DH's nephew and his wife.

Time to go - Take care everyone!

Hi! It's Christi here! Just thought I would drop in and say hello! I have skimmed the post once in a while, but not enough to really keep up. I trust everyone is fine. (otherwise Paris would have told me!)
Caleb is doing great! He is now sleeping in his "big boy" bed. I was amazed he does so well, I put him over the gate and say "go lay down" and he does, and doesn't get up until morning. He is climbing everything in sight! We are STILL working on those 2 year molars, I am thinking of taking him to the Dr. to see if something eles could be bugging him.
My favorite new thing he does would have to be when I ask him to say "love you" he smaks his lips like a kiss. I am still waiting for that "love you" back.
Hi! to everyone, Lisa, Helen, Patty, Moriah, Sarah, all of you. I will check in again soon!

Hi mommies. Here I am logging on from work again, so this will be quick. Jarin is such a sweetie. He is really starting to say more words each day now. I love to hear his little voice. It is just so darn cute!!

We had huge storms last night. We lost power for three hours. We ended up going to a party for my great aunt at an assisted living home, so at least they were on a generator. We ended up getting power back just as we came up our driveway. Yay!

**Sarahg: I'm glad we could lift your spirits. I'm sure things will be emotional for a while. I remember when I got my divorce, it took a couple of months for me to feel "with it" again. Just know we are thinking of you. LOL at having to deal with two toddlers. I'm sure you will be worn out for a while. =)
**Paula: PST is Preschoolers Today - the next step for all of us. Aaaaahhhhh!!!
**Moriah: Yay for Alex doing so well. LOL at him wanting to add mud to two women fighting over him. Sounds like you will have your hands full when Alex is a teenager with Geoff egging him on to do all those fun things! Alex's room sounds really cute. Don't you just love that feeling of accomplishment when you finish a big job like that?
**LisaB: Yay for Max leaving so happily at daycare. That has to be a big relief for you. I know I was glad when Jarin did so well yesterday with SIL and today with my sister. Sounds like he enjoyed the Wizard of Oz thing. Hey, you should invite Moe to go visit with you. LOL And thanks for the big Happy Teacher Appreciation week. I really needed that. Yesterday, my lovely Kelly, (remember the new girl?) got up out of circle time and on the way kicked one girl in the cheekbone (leaving a lovely bruise and a cut), then on the step down she stepped on another girl's leg who just had surgery on that leg, she kicked rocks in a kid's face at recess, etc etc. I sent her to the principal and sent a note to mom, which mysteriously never made it there. Hmmmm, what do you think happened? UGH! Oh, I just read your second post about the 14 month old baby. So sad and thanks for the reminder.
**Sarah: Too cute with the "Icarumba". I can just hear Hannah saying it. Yay for you getting such good bargains. That's my favorite thing to do.
**Barbara: Good luck on the plane. We will be taking a 7 hour flight this summer. I'm planning to take lots of books and small toys, as well as giving Jarin some Dimetapp 30 minutes before take off to minimize ear pain and it will also make him tired so hopefully he'll sleep some.
**Jenni: Aahhh, too cute Nicholas making the "bow wow" sound for Blue. =) I love the sounds our little ones make!
**Helen: LOL at you sending upside down pics. Sounds like Amanda is learning lots of new words!
**Rita: Ugh - good luck to Amy getting those molars through!! Have fun on your date with dh tonight. My DH is being a pain right now.

Well, I have to go now and I get to go get my monster boy! Yay!! See you all later.

Hello all! Not much today. AJ still fussy. At lunch he fell asleep on DH. I hope he gets over this. Last night...Now, I don't make these things up. First the shoe now...AJ and Jalen were fighting over a sombrero and Jalen let go and yes...it hit me in the face. Actually the lip. Why me!!

Patty- How funny pretending to drink. AJ would try and find something to open it. One of his favorite phrase is "I wan pop!"

Sarah g - Walking, now the fun really begins.

Paula- Remember my child is the "hitter" I think maybe he could be a world boxer!! You are funny.

Moriah- I check out your web. Alex is a cutie!

Lisa b- Max is a sweetie. Scary about the bath. A child can drown in 1 in of water in seconds!! I sit on the toilet and read the paper with the phone on the floor when it is bath time.

Sarah - I can imagine how funny "Icarumba" sounds!

Jenni- DH does get kind of funny when AJ puts my things on. Once he had my bra over his head!!One time I had bought a shower gift for a girl and put it on AJ and told DH "look, would he make a cute girl" HA HA. "Get that off of him!!" I just had to do it!!!

Well I better go back to work. Everyone else, have a good night!!

Hi ladies & tots, Charline & Hayden here. Well, the heat wave is finally over. It went from the 90's to the low 60's late yesterday afternoon. Now, it is only in the low 40's. Crazy weather. Hayden's rash is slowly getting better. My DH was holding Hayden upside down so that we could look in his mouth. He usually won't let you do that. He is currently getting 4 new teeth with only 1 that has broken through. No wonder why he has been very moody.

Moe-Good thing that you did have your glasses on. That would have hurt. Wow and you got hit with a sombrero! I just received the pics of AJ & Jalen and the one of you. They are soo cute. I love of the one them kissing. Are you a teacher? If so, what do you teach? Hayden's rash is getting better. I will send you some pics of him later. I hope that AJ feels better soon.

Patty-Thanks for the compliment about Hayden. His rash is slowly getting better. Jarin sounds so cute pretending to drink from the cans. Yay for him not crying when you went to work :)

SarahG-Yay for Sophia starting to walk! I will send some pics of Hayden after I post. I'd also love to see some pics of your kids. The heat wave has finally subsided.

Moriah-Glad that Alex is doing so well. He sounds like a real cutie! I will keep him in my thoughts on Friday.

LisaB-Max sounds cute grinning at the 11 month old girl. What a sad story about the 14 month old. It is so true that you can't leave them alone for second in the tub.

Sarah-Thanks for the birthday wishes for Hayden. Hannah sounds adorable saying "Icarumba"!

Barbara-Good luck on your trip tp Ohio. When are you going?

Jenni-Thanks for the birthday wishes for Hayden. Nicholas sounds cute trying to hum with you to the Blue's theme.

Rita-I hope that Amy's molars come in soon and stop bothering her. I will send pics of Hayden after I post.

Christi-That's great that Caleb is sleeping great in his big boy bed. I hope that his molars come in soon and stop bothering him.

I hope that everyone has a good night.

Hi Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

It's raining here today and a bit chilly compaired to the beautiful weather we have been having, but I'm not complaining, hey it's better than snow. LOL
Not much going on here in our household so straight to personals:
One thing I couldn't load the page last night, I don't know what was wrong any one else have problems.

THERESSA - I did ask about the board taking so long to load and mine came up really fast today, hope yours is better.

SARAH - Don't you just love those nights when you don't have to get mad or yell or anything, LOL Too cute Hannah blowing you a kiss, gave me a smiley.

JENNI - Too, too funny Nicholas falling asleep in his cereal bowl, jeeze mom put your kid to bed earlier, LOL Oh yeah a new house for Nathan's toys, but is he going to pay the bigger mortgage?

LISAB - Welcome back, boy sounds like you had one busy weekend.

SUE - Too cute Cam running through the sprinkler, maybe mommy should join him?

PARIS - Kay you would definitely get on a horse with a cute cowboy and it's Canadian not Vodka, get it right girl.

CHARLINE - Happy 13th month to Hayden, he certainly is a sweety.

MOE - Too funny about AJ flipping your shoe in your face, sorry to laugh, but the picture I have is hillarious. That's cool about the postcard you saw.

PATTY - sounds like you had your hands full today, yeah for monster boy (aka JARIN) not crying today with SIL.

SARAHG - YEAH FOR SOFIA WALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out now mommy, the fun has just begun.

PAULA - I am sorry to laugh at your expense but PST is not provincial sales tax, it's Preschoolers Today another board that some of us moms post on.

LISAB - I know your pg and I know your tired so I'll let it go this time you posted mine to Theressa, just joking with you I'm not upset hey it's understandable soo many people to remember on here. Glad DH found my Nathan soo funny they are something else the things they say.

SARAH - Did you ever think about putting Hannah into acting or commercials or something, that girl of yours is too much? LOL

BARBARA Ask Paris about Plane trips with kids she just took Quinn on one a month ago.

RITA - Good luck with the molars, hope Amy isn't too sick with it or too cranky for mommy.

I found out that Colton's daycare has been sold and that the new owners take over in July. I sure hope they don't make major changes. The teachers told me that they all need to re-apply and then will be on 90-day probations! One good thing is that they are going to start the video-system that I can check into on the internet. That should be really neat. Unless of course it just shows me that my little angel is a monster at daycare!!

His thing lately is to hurt DH and then say "sorry" when DH says ouch. He says it with such attitude too, like what's your problem you big baby.

Sarah: Shopping & kisses--what a great day! Too cute about Hannah copying the Taco Bell dog.

Jenni: Too cute about Nicholas falling asleep in his cereal.

LisaB: Wow, what a busy weekend! How fun that Max got to play with the turtle.

Sue: Glad that Cam enjoyed the sprinkler as it seems like we are in for one hot summer.

Hayden: Happy 13-month b-day!!

Moe: My DH says the same thing to me. I just get him back by telling him he should be wearing a bra then. Need a hockey mask for Mother's Day?

Patty: Colton loves to do the pretend drink thing too--even makes sipping noises.

Sarahg: Yeah for Sofia walking.

Moriah: I will be thinking about Alex & his surgery on Friday. Good job on recognizing himself in the picture. Colton still
calls all his pictures "baby".

Rita: Hope you had a great night out at the movies.

Christi: Great to hear from you again. Glad that Caleb is doing so well in his big boy bed. We will have to get Colton's crib
changed to a toddler bed soon I think.

Hi Everyone,

I have a question??????

I did not get Caelen circumcised (and trust me I do not want to start a debate on the pros and cons, because if I hadn't been pressured he would have been circumcised), anyways his penis is swolen and red. It actually looks enlarged and I am very concerned. DH is going to take him to the doctor tomorrow. I tried to check it out and Caelen had a fit, like I had just kicked him there. If it turns out that he is not going to have to get circumcised I will be so devastated for my poor little guy. Has anyone else experienced anything like this??

Only on personal...

Alice-You can laugh at my expense anytime. I laugh at my own expense all day long, it keeps my co-workers entertained.

Bye for now,

Paula and Kids
Thursday, May 11, 2000 at 01:11:06 (EDT))
I don't know if that was a freudian slip, but what I meant to say is that I will be devastated if he has to now get circumcised.

bye again,

Paula again

LisaB-Just checked my email, what a handsome little boy you have. The pregnancy announcements are a wonderful idea. I know I am going to sound like a terrible mother, especially to all of you with only 1 child, but I haven't had Caelen's pictures professionally done in ages. When Kyla hit 18 months I think I had had them done 4 times. You have inspired me. ( I do have lots that I have taken on my own camera though) Am I terrible or what?

bye,
Paula. Yes me again.

Hi, Paris here. Okay it's too late for me to read all those posts. I skimmed for my name. LOL Anyway, tball was great! Alex is doing so well! I even have the little uniforms now. ha ha. I am definitely taking a picture of my team with their little Barons uniforms on. God, I have fun in this town. Okay, only a few personals. Well, cuz I'm lazy today. :0)

Alice: Yes, I know it's Canadian and that is my drink of choice but trust me if you wanna get me on one of those monster horses, it's gonna take vodka! LOL

Moriah and Kahne: Great chat tonight. It was way too funny. Kahne you never cease to amaze me I swear! :0)

Patty: I saw an email come in from you but I saw no Patty on line! Hmmmmm? lol Just teasing you.

Christi: Nice to see you posting on TT again. :0)

Geez, just got an icq notification that it's my friend Mary's birthday tomorrow. Better send her a card while I remember. Oh, geez! Big news (this is why I never remember everything - my head is like 18 places at once) Peter's nephew is coming out to live with us. That's big news eh? He's 18. Brief history, Mother is a prescription druggie, father heroin junkie, grandparents too old, DH only positive influence. Anyway, he's a good kid. Gotten into a bit of trouble. Nothing serious. Needs some guidance. Anyway he wants to come out here and get a job and see how he likes it. So, I told him, after work he realizes he's dragging his ass to Claresholm for his high school diploma!!! I would just hate to see his life turn into nothing cuz he stayed behind there. I'm glad he's coming here. :0) God, I'm like being a nun or something. LOL Ya okay I'm not all wild I do actually help people quite a bit and am a big giver to the community and care a lot about people in trouble or that need help. Damn, you guys found me out! LOL Talk to you later.

Hi all from Jenni and Nicholas! Well, my little monkey has been working on his walking skills yesterday. He has been toddling around the house all evening last night and then again this morning. I guess people were right when they told me once they get the confidence going, nothing will stop him!

Rita - Go Amy, get those molars in! Pics are on the way :0)

Christi - Too cute! Yay Caleb sleeping in a big boy bed

Patty - What happens now with the new girl in your class? Have you met her parents yet?

Moe - My monkey prefers DH's jockstrap to a bra on his head! Our little guys are just too funny

Charline - Hurry up and get those teeth Hayden

Alice - If he wants a new house for his toys, then he will just have to get a job LOL. I hear male models make good money

Julianne - I hope Colton's DC doesn't change too much for him. The video system sounds really good.

Paris - That's great that you are helping Peter's nephew. At least he has two adults he can count on.

Helen - Thanks for the Oprah info, I usually forget it's on and with my TV guide eating little monkey I never know :0)

Well, I should go find out where Monkey hid the laundry this time...have a good day and Hi to anyone I missed

Hey momies and tykes!
Send up some prayers please. Hunter went to dr. Tues. Couldn't figure out why he was scratching until he bled. Arms, legs, hiney, lower abdomin. Exema(spelling?) Two prescriptions. Thank God for health ins. Please note I have MY own e-mail address now! Yeah for me!!!!
DH had to take Gabby 9 to ER. last night. She fell off her bike Tues. P.M. and was out of school Wed. Hurt her ankle. I did the Motrin, elevate foot, ice pack, rest thing and by the time DH got home from work she still couldn't walk on it. Found out she sprained ankle and pulled some ligaments. Plus the monster bruise. poor baby. If it's not one thing it's another. But as my friend says "this too shall pass"! You ought to see her on those crutches. Thank God that nurse taught her how to use them or she would be SOL! lol. Changed service and now internet doesn't cost an arm and a leg. yeah!!
On to personals:
Barbara: Can't help much with the flying. Gabby was 5 mo. old when we flew from N.C. to calif. If he likes stories maybe a few books to read to him.
Sarahg: Yeah for Sofia walking! Sorry to hear about your seperation from DH. I've been married 3 times. It hurts but I have faith that you will now be able to find the happiness you DESERVE! You sound like my kind of shopper.LOL With 4 kids finding a bargain is too exciting.
Rita: Good luck with the molars. Hope it's not too painful for her or for mommy. lol I think Hunter is cutting 2 yr. molars. Those fingers stay stuck in the mouth.
LisaB: So glad ya'll are doing okay from the rain. I know what you mean about the bed rest. With Hunter I was on bed rest for 4 mo. It sucked at the time, But where's my mandatory bed rest now? LOL. Hopefuly the rest of your preg. will be all you want it to be.
Moriah: Great for Alex. Our prayers will be with you all on Fri. Hope all goes WELL. Alex and Hunter MUST have been twins in a past life. LOL He's a ladies man already too. Especialy at church. Boy does he know those women love him.
Patty: Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!!!!!!! Glad ya'll made it through the storm okay. Send some rain my way in N.C. My poor garden and flowers are starting to wilt.
Moe: I hear ya' about the upset DH when the boys put our stuff on. Hunter puts on my high heels and DH tie then throws a pair of the girls underware on his head to complete the ensomble(sp?)
Too cute!!
Julianne: Too funny about the sorry with attidude.lol Hunter does that sometimes.
Paula: Hope the Dr. can find and fix the prob. HUnter was circumcised so I don't even know what an uncir. wee-wee looks like.
Paris: We knew there was a gentle softie under All that party.LOL!!!!
Well, ladies, gotta go. see ya' tonight !

Hello All Darleen and Nolan here.

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would share what I think is good news. I got a part-time job at the Fitness Club I joined. I will be working in the Kidz Club Mon-Fri from 9-1pm. I ahve Wednesday off because I joined a Mom's & Tots and I paid for it, and I don't want to lose out on that money. It is over in June anyways, so after it's done, I will work all week 9-1. I am way too excited, I finally get my own money again. Pay cheques even, every 2 weeks. Wow!! Nolan gets to go with me also, so that is even better.

Nolan is doing great! He was a child from HELL yesterday. My mom, Nolan and I went into Toronto to see City Line live, and I had to go and watch it on the T.V because Mr. Nolan was uncooperative. I was disappointed, but what can I expect from an 18mth old? He is extremely busy these days, he is into everything. When does that end? Ever?

Onto personals:

Moriah- I hope everything goes great for Alex tomorrow. I'm sure it will, he sounds like a very strong little boy!

Lee-WOW!! What a busy, and hectic few days you've had. You will need to go on a trip just to get some rest.

Paris- I'm sure you will all be a great influence on your Dh's nephew! I hope he enjoys his stay with you! It sounds like he has had a rough life so far! Maybe he can give you some tips on gardening!! LOL!!

Well to everyone elso HELLO, and I hope you all have a great Mother's Day!! We are off again to the parents. It is Dh's mom's birthday, so we are killing 2 birds with 1 stone as the good ole saying goes!

Have a great day,and a great week-end!!

Bye for now!!

Good morning...SARAH here. Hope all is well. HANNAH was such a little turd when I got home from work yesterday, DH said she had been like that all day. So I thought "great!" cause I was gonna have her all night while DH worked. Well, she was an ABSOLUTE ANGEL last night!! She's starting to repeat everything I say. Gotta watch it, cause I tend to have a potty mouth.

Does anyone else watch 90210? I know, kind of "cheesy" but I've been watching it since it first started. I'm sad it's going off the air. Does anyone watch ER?? Carol's last night is tonite. Should be good.

Anyone have big plans for Mother's Day?

LISA - SAD, SAD story!!! I have to admit, I've walked out before...that'll stop!

HELEN - I didn't get ANY pictures. Send some please.

RITA - Poor AMY and her molars. HANNAH had a rough time with them. :( How was the movie?

CHRISTI - Good to hear from you. I read your diary yesterday. WOW, a "big boy bed"?? That's great.

PATTY - HI!!! Yep, I love good bargains, too. I usually don't have the patience to look for them, so I just buy the first thing I see...not this time!! :) :) Can you tell I'm proud of myself??? LOL

MOE - Sounds like your face is a good target??!!? LOL

CHARLINE - Poor HAYDEN getting 4 new teeth!!

ALICE - Yep, I love those nights. I had another one last night!!! :) EVERYONE says to me she's probably going to be an actress. How funny that you said that!

JULIANNE - Very cool about the video system at COLTON's daycare!! Hey, how's TEQUILA doing??

LEE - Sorry you're having a rough time...my ++++++ thoughts are coming your way!!

Gotta go, I'll talk to you all later! Have a great day!

Hi from LisaB. Max got 2 new Elmo books yesterday through his book club and he was soooo excited!!! We must have read each a them 6 times!!! We have our field trip tomorrow but I'll try to post over the weekend.

JENNI: Nick is going to be a muscial kid, isn't he?!! Don't let this weekend fool you - I'm generally a tired and lazy person, resting in my recliner with my feet up or snoozing on the couch. LOL!!!

HELEN: WOW!!!! Amanda is really talking alot. Don't you like me anymore? I didn't get any pictures and I'm bummed.

RITA: Sorry, I've used up my quota of energy for the entire month ... I have none left!!! I was in bed at 8:30 last night, only woke once to pee, and am still dragging today.

CHRISTI: HI!!! Caleb is getting all grown up, sleeping in his "big boy" bed. Max still only uses his for naps. YEAH on the kisses!!!!

PATTY: Kelly really IS the child from hell, isn't she?! Wasn't she the one where her parents claim she's a perfect angel at home? Max will probably be a monster in school, but at least I'll admit that he's ornery when the teacher complains. LOL!!!!!

MOE: Are you a bad mommy or what? Why does your sweet little angel keep beating up on you? LOL!!!!

CHARLINE: We used to always have to hold Max upside down also to see teeth!!! I bet Hayden's rash is due to teething; poor little guy is miserable at both ends at the same time.

ALICE: OOPS, sorry about putting your post with Theressa. Preggers brain at work!!!

JULIANNE: It'll be great being able to "check" on Colton at daycare during the day. Plus you KNOW they are providing good care ... otherwise they wouldn't allow internet cameras in the place!!! Colton sounds too funny saying "sorry" to DH with an attitude!!

PAULA: I thought I was on pregnancy today for a minute ... circumcision is a "big" issue there now. Let us know what the doctor says about Caelen. We had Max circumcized in the hospital (I let DH decide whether to do it or not) and we've had some problems with the "tip" wanting to grow on to the "shaft" part (I'm using the ped's terminology here!!). We have to "pull it back" about once a week. You can tell it hurts - Max starts crying as soon as our hands go near his pee-pee. He's fine through just as soon as we finish. Anyway, sometimes it gets red and a little swollen but it always turns "normal" again within a day and we are really careful to keep it clean. I never asked the ped if the problem is due to his circumcision or not ... I guess I just don't want to feel awful if I find out it is. Thanks for saying Max is handsome ... I think so but I'm more than a little prejudice!!!! Moriah, Alex's mom, did the pg announcements for me!!!! I had Max's photos taken at 3, 6, 9, 12, and 18 months. Now it's going to be around each birthday, with a family picture at Christmas. I get them taken at Sears as they are fairly cheap, especially with coupons. Plus I'm in their "smilesavers" plan - you may an upfront fee and then have no sitting fees for 3 years, regardless of the number of people in the pictures. I also take TONS of snapshots!!! Those are the CUTEST as they show our kids as they REALLY are.

PARIS: Good luck with the nephew. It'll be strange having a 18 year old in the house. It sounds like you guys will be a good influence on him!!! If he has any free time between work and school, maybe you can put him to work around the house and yard!!!!!

HELEN: I didn't get either set of photos. YEAH on Amanda getting her 2 teeth. So, is the Oprah a repeat (the one that inspired Michelle to seek treatment for PPD) or a "follow-up"? Either way, I'm at work so I'll miss it.

JENNI: I guess Nicholas is officially a toddler now, isn't it?!

LEE: I hope Hunter's exema is better soon. The poor little guy. I'm sorry to hear about Gabby's ankle. I hope your luck changes soon and you guys stay healthy!!

DARLEEN: YEAH on the part-time job!!!! Is the Kidz Club like a daycare deal for the kids while their parents exercise? Nolan sounds like a typical toddler, getting into everything!!!

SARAH: I guess Hannah just wanted Mommy, huh?! I've never watched 90210 but love ER. I have 2 shows on tape right now - I'm usually in bed by 9 these days so I miss it. DH got me 2 rose bushes for Mother's Day and we are going out for lunch Sunday with his Mom.

Hello!! Moe here. Very tired. Bad night with AJ. I did not get hit in the face yesterday...after 12 pm I did. DH went to bed with him at 9:30, when I was done with my paperwork, he was still awake!! He would not sleep. I told him "go to sleep" he yelled "NO!" and I got a kung fu chop to the face with his foot!! He cried for 1/2 hour until DH came and got him at !1:30!!! Then he fell asleep! Needless to say, he was not happy this morning. I need to check his mouth and look for teeth. I don't know what is the matter with him!!
I enrolled my oldest in Kindergarten today. WHAAA : ( I am sending him to a Catholic school..EWW I work for the school system and I am not sending him to a public school!? I always wanted to send him to a private school even before I had kids. It is all-day kinder. The less time from TV the better.

Charline - Don't let the kissing picture of AJ and Brother fool you, it was a set-up!! The majority of the time they fight!! I am not a teacher, I work in the personnel office at the district.

Alice - Stop laughing at me!! LOL

Julieanne - A hockey mask would be nice!! LOL

Paula - A camera is just as good, I just blow them up!!

Helen - Marie Osmond is separated from her DH after 7 children!!

Lee - AJ has the same problem with exema. When he has a flair up, he scratches until he bleeds. :( He get bad behind the neck and the arms. Medication is expensive! AJ puts the underwear on his head too!

Darleen - Congrats on the Job

Sarah -I used to watch 90210 when they were in High School, but have not in years. I will watch the final one! No plans for Mothers Day. DH is going to play softball out of town!!! I will spend my time with my mother I guess.

Lisa - AJ loves Elmo. And I don't know why my little man is so mean to me! Sniff Sniff.

Well I better get back to work, my break is over. Have a good night!

Lee here,
Don't mean to sound down all the time. Things usually run pretty smoothly around here. Hunter is doing better, except the oral anti-itch med. seems to be causing mood swings. I'm going to call the doctor in the A.M. Any other toddler here had this kind of reaction to meds.? This is a first for me.

Hi Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

Well my sister opened her big mouth today and told Nathan that his birthday is coming up so for the past 4 hours all I have heard is, "Is it my birthday yet", "Mommy can I have my cake now", "When is my birthday, soon right?", You get the picture he is driving me nuts and we still have 2 weeks to go, Aaaaah. I am going to make up a calender and hang it in his room so that we can mark off the days before he goes to bed every night hopefully it will help. The weather has really changed here the last two days, raining and today really cold.

On to personals:

JULIANNE - My girlfriend has her own daycare with the video cams in it and she says all the parents at first would be calling all day cause the camera cannot show the whole room at once, and they would be freaking out, "Where's my kid, I can't see her" Just a little info for you, but I think the videos are a great idea.

PAULA - It's nice to laugh at someone else since DH uses me for the brunt of his jokes all the time, he says that I am so gullable. Anyways Nathan is not circumcised (I too am not up for a debate on the subject, but I truly do not believe in it) I asked DH about Caelen he says he doesn't know why in a child that young it should look like that, but he advised definitely taking Caelen to a doc cause it could be infected. Hope everything is okay, Paula let me know what happens. Go to Walmart for pics I always do they are cheap.

PARIS - If your trying to kick me out cause Nathan is not going to be a toddler at the end of the month, then you can't talk about Alex on this board, you can talk about Quinn. Ha, Ha Personal note to you, what a big kiss ass you are with thumper.:-) Ha just read the end of your post, getting a new live in babysitter, God you'll never be home now, LOL

HELEN - I was wondering about that, very funny I went to post to you and oops who's Vicki. Can I have some pics please, I think that Oprah is a repeat isn't it. I think that I have seen it, good show.

JENNI - You got it right girl, Nicholas is never gonna stop now. DH would probably make Nathan get that job, but I spoil him too much. Momma's little boy.

LEE - Just watch Hunter when sleeping, Nathan also has Excema and he has some scarring on the back of his legs from scratching soo much, also watch the diet not too much eggs, orange juice, peanut butter and tomatoes. When the summer gets here you will notice a big improvement the sun does wonders for it. Good luck any questions just ask, I have had Excema then Psoriasis since I was 8.

DARLEEN - Too bad about the show, I have always wanted to go down there myself. You are right about them getting into everything I don't think it ever ends, perfect example just look at our DH's any change. LOL

SARAH - I watch 90210 am I'm not ashamed to admit it, my DH makes fun of the show, he says God have they finished high school yet, or do any of them work, anyways I was bawling my eyes out last night, probably will be next week too. Do you remember Knots Landing that was my fav show I cried for weeks when it went off the air.

LISAB - Elmo is Nathan's absolute favourite, everything in his room is Elmo. Oh if you get a chance go see Sesame Street Live it's great and Max would love it.

MOE - I know it's not nice to laugh cause you had a bad night, but the visual of AJ kung fu chopping you in the face with his foot too funny, LOL. Hope the little stinker is feeling better, is it teeth, does he have a temp? I totally agree with you on the schooling issue Nathan will be going to a private school when he is old enough of course. I just read your post to me but I am still laughing at you. :-)

That's it for tonight ladies, take care.

Colton learned a new trick at daycare. He went down the slide sitting on a toy truck. That kid is going to be the class clown! He will do anything for excitement and attention. ER's starting so I gotta go......

Paula: Sorry to hear about Caelen's trouble. Just make sure if he does have to get circumsized to insist on something for the pain. I have heard several people talk about the fact that there are things drs can do to make the procedure less painful, but
since everyone thinks that the babies will just forget about it they don't . Hope he's OK!

Helen: I didn't get any pictures! You sure had me confused w/ the Vicki! How mean of DH to make you miss Oprah to clean the pool. LOL

Lee: Sorry to hear about Hunter & Gabby. Hope are feeling better soon.

Darleen: Your part-time job sounds great.

Sarah: Yeah, I too watched 90210--hadn't watched in over a month though. There aren't many shows left that I follow. I have to get this post done soon so I can settle down & watch ER! Tequila is doing great. She spent the day at the vet yesterday having her last shot. They just love her there--says she is a great dog! She had a few rough days, but she seems almost back to normal. We start w/ the regular pill treatment in 2 weeks and then she will get a blood test in 4 months.
Hopefully it will be all clear.

Kahne: CONGRATS on getting into nursing school. Way to go!

Alice: Too funny about Nathan being so excited for his birthday. The calender sounds like a good idea.

Been lurking the last few days. Just haven't had the chance to post! LOL I got Marcus a new bike a while back, and it is just barly too big. So my friend brought by her son's old push bike. Marcus Loves it. He would sleep with it if I let him. All day long that is all he does. I'm glad she brought it over! Just a few personals:

ALICE - Happy birthday to Nathan, Happy Birthday to Nathan - are you having a party - cake and the whole mess? I know, when your a kid, 2 weeks seems like forever. Will you be graduating to PST?

KAHNE - CONGRATS!

MOE - great decision on the Private school. If there was a Catholic school around here I would definatly condisider that for mine. I wish that they would do the voucher thing that they were talking about a while back. Put some competition back into the public school system. I would love to homeschool myself, but I am kinda scared of doing it.

DARLEEN - The best of both worlds - work AND get to stay w/ Nolan. Congrats!

HELEN - are you an Osmond fan?!? LOL She had house about 30 mi from where I live (think she still does, but I'm not sure) And I danced w/ Jimmy O once. But my most famous neighbor is Wiford Brimley (Quaker Oats - its the right thing to do) LOL when he goes jogging by in his shorts and green polka dot hat!

PARIS - you giving guidence to and 18 yo! LOL I can see you now . . . teaching him how to party. No really, I can tell that you like to help people (why else would you do the voulenteer work that you do!?)

Hey everyone. Thought I’d check in before the weekend and wish all of you a Happy Mother’s Day a few days early. Hope you all get the royal treatment from your DH’s and little ones on Sunday! I know I’m being a totally irrational worry wart, but lately I have been really worried about dying young and leaving Allison without a mother. I’m not afraid to die, so don’t think that, I just don’t want to leave Allison to grow up not knowing me or even remembering me very well. I just love her so much that I wouldn’t want to put her through that. I guess ER last night with the terminal cancer patient with the 2 little girls really got me thinking. I was bawling thinking of those little girls not having a mother around.

On a lighter note, Allison is taking up potty training once again. She had abandoned it for about a month, and I didn’t push the issue at all, just let her do her thing, but now she is doing really well again. She’s stayed dry for 3 nights this week from the time we get home from the sitter’s until she goes to bed. She still won’t have a BM on the potty, but that will come I’m sure. I bought her some cloth training pants that have the outside plastic cover on them. I think I’m going to try them on her tomorrow while I’m home from work and see how she does. I also got her some cute Hanes with Pooh designs on them that she now insists on wearing over her diaper! LOL!

A few personals.

Rita – I remember Allison’s first set of molars. All 4 at once and boy was she MEAN!! Hope Amy’s come through soon so she will feel better.

Christi – good to hear from you! Wow on the big boy bed. I think we are going to get Allison a big bed for her birthday.

Patty – Aren’t you glad that summer’s almost here???? Kelly will soon be out of you hair for good!

Moe – sounds like you do need a catcher’s mask!

Charline – hope Hayden’s teeth come in soon!

Julianne – the daycare camera sounds neat. Hopefully everything else will stay the same since Colton seems to like it and be doing so well!

Paula – don’t know anything about circumcision since I have a girl, but I hope everything turns out okay. I think about you everyday when I’m driving to work and I pass your Dad’s street! When are you coming to KY again?

Paris – good luck with your nephew living with you. Dh and I tried that for a while with his 19-year-old brother. DH is one of the only positive influences in his life as well, but it was a DISASTER! BIL got in with the wrong crowd (that may not be possible in your tiny town though!) and was staying out all hours of the night. He missed work 2 days in a row and got fired, went 4-wheeling on public property and got sited with 1st degree criminal mishchief (a felony), got shot at by some gang members. It only lasted about 3 weeks before we had to move him out. Our town isn’t very big either, but definitely not as small as Barons so hopefully yours will work out great.

Helen – aka Sarah aka Vicki LOL! I thought, man, has she changed her name again on us! When can I come over and swim?? LOL! I’ll bring some margarita’s!

Lee – hope Hunter’s excema gets better soon.

Darleen – congrats on your part time job. Sounds like the ideal situation.

Sarah – know what you mean about watching what you say. I also can have a potty mouth (SH*$) is my personal favorite. I’ve heard that come out of Allison’s mouth a few times and it makes me chuckle, but of course I realize that I can’t keep saying it or she’ll say it somewhere like church or something and then I’d be really embarrassed!

Lisa B – hope you have fun on your field trip.

Kahne – congrats on nursing school! You deserve it, you’ve worked hard!

Alice – the calendar is a good idea for Nathan’s birthday.

Theressa – Marcus sounds cute on his new bike.

Moriah – I’m thinking about Alex today with his surgery. Keep us posted on how he does!

Well, I should get back to work. Talk to you ladies later and Happy early Mother’s Day.

Hi all Jenni and Nicholas here. Yukky weather today. Who asked for rain???? Take it back.

Okay - my Monkey is in LOVE with himself. Last night after his bath the little nudest ran down the hall into my bedroom over to the mirror and started softly talking to himself then leaned in and kissed his reflection! YES I had the camera and snapped the picture! Can't wait to finsih the roll and see it :0)

Lee - Thoughts and prayers are with you and Hunter. Hope his exima (sp) clears up soon.

Darleen - Congrats on the job! It sounds great.

Sarah - I'm a 90210 freak! Watched it for 10 years without missing too many episodes. I am very sad it is going off. The only other show I used to watch religiously was Party of Five - go figure they are both done :0(

LisaB - Have fun on your field trip. Wow 2 Elmo books - Yes Nick is going to be very musical. Easter he "played" the piano with grandpa.

Moe - Hope for a "face-shot" free day today! AJ, give mommy a break huh?!?

Kahne - Congrats on getting into nursing school! That is great

Alice - There all mama's boys. Especially my DH LOL

Beth - Happy Mother's Day a little early to you too. Allison you are getting to be such a big girl. Three nights dry WOW!!!

Better go check the laundry before it floods the basement again! Hi to anyone I missed

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick post. Didn't get to real all of the personals, as I was painting till 11pm last night, and now getting ready to go to work.

Took Caelen to the doctor, and it is definetly infected. His foreskin does not pull back properly so he may need to be circumcised. She has given me antibiotics and cream to apply, and she is testing to make sure it is not a bacterial infection. She says if it gets infected like this again, or if it doesn't clear up quickly, then she may recommend circucision. I sure hope not. I could not bear the thought of him going through this again.

Beth-I don't know when I will be in KY again. I actually am having a hard time getting in touch with my dad. His phone has been disconnected. I know he was having financial difficulties due to his military pensions and state disability etc, so I am actually starting to get a little bit concerned. I am going to send a letter priority post and if I dont get a response I may be down there quicker than planned.

Well I just heard the baby alert, must go, sorry about my lack of personals

Hello mums, it's the slacker, Maryann again. I just don't know how you girls do it...I can't seem to find the time! And my little angel isn't even walking yet! I'm not the best at organization...I guess that's the problem. When does the "mom effect" take place...when your house is always clean, meals prepared and you still have time to read a book? I still feel like a teenager sometimes! (I'm 29)

Mia is doing wonderfully. She is walking much better holding onto just one hand now. I don't think it will be long before she's on her own. I really hope she walks soon, with summer coming. I'm worried about skinned/grass burned knees and crawling.

Planning her 1st bday party, nothing too big. I know that some mums go all out, but sometimes the little ones find it a little overwhelming - all the people and noise.

I wanted to get a plug in for Ottawa! If anyone is looking to get away in the springtime, Ottawa has a beautiful thing called the Tulip Festival. It's goes for about a week and a half. There are many, many things for kids to do. Tomorrow, Sharon, Louis and Bram are going to be there along with countless other performers. Face painting, craft making etc. Kids get in FREE! Yay! They are expecting at least 5000 kids there tomorrow...which for Ottawa is quite an accomplishment!!

Anyway, must be off now. Have a great day everybody!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!! Seems like this week has DDDRRRAAAGGGGGGEEEDDD!!! :)

SARAH here. Hey, I have a prayer request...my cousin called me this morning, and her DH asked her for a divorce last night. They have a 19 month old, and she's a SAHM. They've been married for about 5 years. She's so sad, seein' as she's still very much in love with him. She will probably move in with her mom (w/JULIAN), but now she's freakin' out cause she'll probably have to get a job + daycare...and that makes her very sad. She hasn't worked since she had JULIAN. SO...please say a prayer for ERIN and JULIAN. Thanks gals!

LISA - ER was so good last night. I won't say anything, cause you probably haven't watched it yet. Oh yeah, you are at that fair today. Let us know what it was like. Sounds like you have a nice Mother's Day planned.

MOE - Sorry DH will be gone on Mother's Day.

HELEN - Thank you for the pictures. SOOOO adorable! :)

KAHNE - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

JENNI - I'm a 90210 addict, too. I've seen almost every episode, too. I even find myself watching reruns all of the time. Pathetic! I was a PO5 addict, too. Sad that's gone now. :( VERY cute story about NICHOLAS kissing himself in the mirror.

ALICE - YEP, I was bawling too. I'm soo sad it's ending. Did you watch the show after 90210 on Wednesday?? Your DH sounds like my DH. He makes so much fun of me. OMG, I was a HUGE Knots Landing fan!!

JULIANNE - ER was good last night, huh?? I'm glad TEQUILA is better!!! :)

THERESSA - I'm glad MARCUS likes his new bike!

BETH - I've been going through the same emotions lately, too. What's up with that??? I just HATE the thought of HANNAH growing up without me OR her daddy!!! :( Yep, I was bawling at that part, too.

PAULA - I hope CAELEN is okay!

MARYANN - We had a nice small party for HANNAH too. I didn't want to overwhelm her.

WHERE'S BIRDIE???????

Well ladies, if I don't get a chance to get back on..... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to the best darn mommies in the world!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Hello from Rita

So much for our night out! Half way through the movie, DH's cell phone rang. Maddy was sick, so we had to leave and pick up the girls. We'll have to try again. Sigh.

I stayed at home yesterday with the girls. Maddy was better, but Amy was a real bear with the teething. This morning was also really terrible. She also has another tooth coming in at the same time.

Charline - Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Hayden is so cute.

Jenni - I'm glad that Nicholas wouldn't be driving Amy. She's in such a bad mood these days, that we'll have to set the drive up later. LOL

Helen - Woo hoo! A picture of you! Great pictures, by the way.

Moe - Yes, I would check for teeth too given what Amy has been doing. She thew her milk cup across the room this AM - good thing I wasn't in the line of fire.

Paula - That does not sound too good. My dad had to have a circumcision done as an adult due to similar problems. Boy did his co-workers give him a bad time.

Moriah - Thinking of you guys today! +++++++

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Just a quick post to let everyone know that Alex is NOT having surgery today. He has been a little wheezy lately so we felt it was best to wait for a better time.
Not a big deal, we'll reschedule for June.

Paula: email me on the circumcision issue - we're having that very debate here right now.

To everyone who didn't get my email last night: go to www.babystyle.com (there's also kidstyle.com) Right now they are having a promo where for all 1st time orders you get $20.00 of an order of at least $20.01 & NO shipping charges either! That's right you can get $20.00 worth of stuff for a pennie plus tax. I got Alex some totally cute stuff.

Gotta go, sorry no personals - just wanted to let you know that it wasn't happening today.

Hello everyone, Christina here! Sorry haven't posted in the past few days, Lys has been sick and so between work and staying up with her I am a walking zombie!! Late for work today by an hour and that is not too good.

Can anyone fill me in on the 90210 show that was on Wednesday? I was not able to watch and forgot to take it. It is sad it is done, that is my favorite show and oh ER last night I was in tears, espicially at the end! Somehow I knew this was coming sooner or later. They are ending all the good shows theres no more PO5 either. This s----, there are no more good shows on anymore!

Well Lys has been sick with a bad cold and she is coughing and runny nose. The doc gave her a new prescript and seems to be helping, but has been a bear of course cuz she does not feel up to par. I cannot wait till she is back to normal!! She is so cute, she takes her medicine and says Ma-ma this will help Lys bet better, lys no feel good, but grape candy will make it better. Too cute!!! =)

Well I think it would probably take me forever to keep up with the past few days post, so I will start from today!

If I do not get a chance to post again, everyone have a fun Mother's Day and make sure you are pampered and spoiled all weekend~!@!!

Me again...
A couple of things.

RITA - Hope MADDY's feeling better, and hope AMY's teeth come in SOON!!!!

MORIAH - Thanks for the email. I checked it out.

CHRISTINA - I was going to email this to you, but didn't have your address, so here it goes......David proposed to Donna (she said she had to think about it..but you know she will cause that's what the finale is about), Kelly realized she still loves Dillon when she thought he had been killed in a surfing accident. She went to talk to him, but didn't tell him she loved him. She was starting to doubt her and Matt, and then Matt came over and told her his brother was killed in an accident and had to go home (she said she will go with him - if she does, who knows??). Janet is accepting a new job for a new magazine, which doesn't make Steve happy (he misses her being home). Noah and that one girl (I forgot her name) are going to try a relationship. That's about it. I do know that Valerie and Brandon are going to be on next week's show. :) I'm sad it's going off the air!!!

Ok, that's my "Entertainment Column" for the day!! LOL

BYE!

It is Friday!! Thank goodness! I am ready to go! AJ had problems again sleeping, I was doing my DH's payroll and went down to bed at 11:00 and he was sitting in bed "Ha" . "HA yourself, go to sleep!" So I took him to his room to lay down. It took about 15 mins. I think DH doesn't even try!! LOL

Helen - I am pretty sure Marie had 7 kids, I don't remember where I saw it, but they were making a big deal about her kids. Today on Oprah it is a Mother's Day Special..I would like to see that, I am up for a good cry!!

Kahne - Congrats on Nursing School.

ALice - Don't you hate when people do that. Jalen will do the same thing. We got a party invitation on Monday and everyday this week "Is it Jared's party yet?" Hey, you know you will get wrinkles around your mouth when you laugh at people....It is a fact. LOLOLOL

Theressa- It was a hard decision to make on Jalen, esp when we live across the street from an elementary school!!His teacher would have been the teacher I had in 2nd grade!!She was one of my favorites. I am sure she will asked me later "Where is your son?" oh uh...

Beth - I know what you mean about dying. DH's sister died in a car accident 4 years ago and left 5 children. Her youngest lived with me for a year. It was sad his sister's DH or SOB went to "you-know-what" Drugs, drinking, etc.. I asked my DH to promise me he'll take care of my boys or I will be back to haunt him. Unlike his BIL, his kids do what they want. I don't care how good a DH is, kids need their mothers!

Jenni- You are funny about Nicholas being in love with himself, I have the same problem with my DH! lol. I have the faith that I will have a "face-Shot" free day on Mothers Day.

Paula - Hope everything goes well with Caeden

Maryanne- Tulip Festival sounds great.

Sarah - Prayers sent!! I am used to DH not being home on special occations, I knew it when I married him. But it is not as bad as it was before kids.

Rita - Checked his teeth...Nothing. He was a little more pleasant today.

Moriah - Hope Alex is feeling better.

Christine - I was a zombie yesterday! I need some sleep!!!

Well all got to go, our building is having a "make your own ice cream sundae"... I am back,,YUMMY...Sorry..Got to eat. I love Fridays!

Happy Friday from Julianne. I agree, this week sure was a long one. I could crawl in bed right now and go to sleep.

I think DH is mad at me for being on here. He came inside wondering what was ready for supper and I just shrugged. I found him something but didn't eat with him since I wasn't hungry. He went back outside to work. Oh well, I needed a fun break and since Colton's napping I thought it was the perfect time to get my TT fix.

Theressa: Yeah for Marcus having so much fun with the bike.

Beth: Yeah for Allison starting p/t again. It gets to me some days too thinking of what would happen to Colton if something happened to me or DH.

Jenni: Those pictures should be sooooo cute!

Maryanne: We have a Tulip Festival going on this week and next week in Michigan. The fireworks are being rescheduled for tomorrow due to the tornado weather we are having. We usually avoid it--too many crowds!

Sarah: So sorry to hear about your cousin. I will be praying for her. What a shock. I'm looking forward to ER next week already. Pretty pathetic huh?

Rita: Sorry your date was a bust. Hope Maddy & Amy feel better soon.

Helen: Thanks for the pictures--great one of mommy & Amanda! We can never get a picture of both Tequila and Colton looking at the camera. I have the cutest doggie frame waiting for the "perfect" picture.

Moriah: Hope Alex gets better so he can have the surgery.

Christina: Hope Lys gets over her cold quick too. Cute her talking about the medicine helping like that.

Have a great Mother's Day everyone.

LisaB- the garage sale shopping sounded fun! so sad about the little 14month old in the tub. :O(

Sarah- you sound like me shopping- something for everyone!!

Paula-- DS had the same thing when he was about the same age and was circumcized- I had to sit him in the tub a few times a day and let him go bare-bum , it went away in a few days.

LisaB--Alice-- The Oprah show 'I think' was the 3rd w/Marie-O on it- one in the fall one in Jan and this one was an update on her depression and separation- I taped it and just watched it this afternoon.

Did anyone see the Oprah show yesterday- Did Marie O seem 'spacey' or was it just me???

Theressa- no- not a fan- just found her show on PPD w/Oprah a real eye-opener! I used to watch the D&M show when I was about 13 or so-- just loved them!!

Beth-- I know- me and the name game!!LOL! Sure- bring the margaritas!!

Jenni- cute about the nudist kissing- send a pic if it turns out!

Sarah- sorry about your cousin. :O(

Rita- I take it you didn't get the pic I sent a while back of me and DH---- sorry- glad you got these.

Christina- Hope Alyssa is better soon. :O)

Ok finally caught up!! Amanda is outside playing w/th kids . I went to visit my friend with cancer FINALLY today and brought her a turkey pie and apple cobbler from a local store- she was so pleased and seems a little tired but looks pretty good. I showed up un-announced b/c I keep putting it off and she was busy so we will get together next week, I feel so bad for her. :O(
Amanda's new word is gum-- well actually 'dum' and wants it constantly!!! Steals it from everyone!! She is so cute.
DH and I got the pool just about done- just need a little more vacuuming and chemicals and thats it- they are comming on Monday to pour the decking around it- that will be nice when its done! No more dirt in the house.
Well should go--HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ALL!!!!!!!

Later!!

hey everyone! Finals are OVER! The stranger moping around my house calling himself my husband is GONE! I have the whole summer with John, because neither of us are taking ANY summer classes! Awesome! it is going to be hectic, though, with two wedding in June (in Houston) that we are in, and two family reunions in July (florida and Austin). I am a little nervous about being away from home for so long, worried about my dog Sasha, my flowers, and how Gabe will adjust. I am sure he will be fine as long as we are around. I am looking forward to all that time in Housaton, though, because I miss it so much. we are getting a new pc and laptop at the end of this month, so I will be able to post here while I am gone. well, I am in a hurry, as I have to go to a bachlorette (sp) party at seven thirty, and we have to leave for Houston by seven thirty tomorrow morning to make it to enron feild for an astros game. Hectic! I am counting on my dh to pack (huge mistake, I know) but I have made him a list, so it should be o.k. This personals may be a bit old, as I havnt had time to post lately, sorry.

Paula - Poor Caelen! I hope everything goes well with the doctors. I only have gabes pictures done once a year, as they are so expensive at the photographers we take him to. They are the same poeple who did our wedding, and are awesome; lots of black and white and non-traditional shots.

Sarah - my dh and I dont have television, but I have seen bits and peices of ER and really liked it, I love medical dramas.
+++++for Erin and Julian

Lee - a lot of toddlers react strangely to medications, especially ones containing food coloring and additives. I would ask your doctor about it. I respond weirdly to almost all medicine! You know the 99.99999 they are always talking aboutwhen it comes to weird side effects? Well, I am the 00.00001.

Kahne - Congratulations!!!!!!

Moe- I have to agree....dragging butt down a river would not be a lot of fun, even with a lot of beer!

SarahG - I am studying for my undergraduate degree in psychology right now, and will eventually get a PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis on forensics. What I want to do for a living, though, is write.

Moriah - Sorry you had to postpone...hope everything is going well. Isnt it amazing at how young our boys learn to charm the women?

Charline - Hope Haydens teeth come in...we have been waiting for Gabes, also.

Hi to everyone else, have a great mothers day..gotta go , so much time time, so little to do...wait reverse that...(lol I love willie wonka)

Hi Everyone from Alice & Nathan,

We had some scarry thunderstorms here today, I am such a chicken when it's lightning and thunder. Nathan seems to have calmed down somewhat about his birthday not as hyper as yesterday. Wait til I tell you what the little stinker did tonight on the way home, well he is in a booster seat now(too tall for the car seat) and he reached over and undid his seatbelt, he can also open the car door from the inside so DH put the safety locks back on tonight. Little bugger.

Okay on to personals:

JULIANNE - Did you cry at the end of ER, I was bawling. Watch out for Colton on that slide, holy moly that would scare the daylights out of me.

THERESSA - We are having the party at Gymboree, I did the house thing last year, 30 kids and 30 adults, needless to say we won't be doing that foolishness any time soon, my new motto on bd parties - let someone else clean up the mess and cook all the food and entertain the kids. He has graduated from Sesame Street he now wants a Dinosaur Cake, that kid absolutely loves The Land Before Time.

BETH - If you remember my first postings on TT, Nathan was having trouble with BM on the toilet, he would pee no prob, so just be patient the BM will come.

HELEN - Hey I'm with Beth on the Margarita's by the pool let's have a big party for all the mommy's on Mother's day. LOL

JENNI - Too funny Nicholas staring at himself in the mirror, Nathan does exactly the same thing before and after his bath, but he has now found his "pee, pee", so he's got to play with that for a while as well, don't you just love the over exaggerated expressions they make at themselves. Too funny, LOL

PAULA - Hope Little Caelen's pee pee is okay soon, and I really hope for your sake that you don't have to have the circumcision. Just a though but let him go around the house naked on the bottom maybe the air might help it out.

MARYANN - Nice to hear from you, have a great time at The Tulip Festival.

SARAH - You know as sad as your cousin's story is, the hardest times in life make us much stronger people, and I am not the most religious person in the world but I truly believe that God never has us deal with anything that we can't handle. Hope she is okay, great mother's day gift her DH is a stupid jerk. I watched the second show as well, that was great, you know I didn't like what Donna said to David about I'll have to think about marrying you, Okay Bitch we have waited 10 years for you two to get together so just cry for us and say yes and be really really happy. ER was great last night I was crying at the end of that one too, George is soo cute. Not as good looking as my DH though. LOL :-)

RITA - sorry your having such a sucky week, it can only get better, maybe DH has something special planned for Mother's Day, you certainly deserve it.

MORIAH - Hope Alex is feeling okay, great deals you got on the website, good for you.

SARAH - what a great summery of the show, you go girl, need a job working for T.V. Guide?:-)

MOE - you better stop telling me what AJ is doing cause girl I'm gonna have to invest in depends soon, you got me laughing again, here's one for you, HA! Ha yourself! LOL BTW I can handle the wrinkles hey I look at least 10 years younger than my real age anyways so there.

JULIANNE - too funny DH looking for supper, next time he does that tell him to look in the fridge or cupboard and find something, Ha, ha. Too funny. Julianne's DH don't mess with TT. LOL

JAMIE - Hey Stranger, have a great time at the bachelorette party.

Oh I have a question for the Americans what is PO5 or whatever, never heard of that show must be American.
Okay got to go Dh and I are going out tonight so I got to get ready.
Nite!

Hello all you other mothers. And a Happy Mothers Day to all. I am new here. I am a 26 year old mom of two girls. Jessie is 4 and Tori is 2. As most all other parents I have consering issues with each child.
I am hoping I can some help with these issues here.

Jessie has problems with peeing and pooping. At night she still wets the bed. She has been potty trained since Tori was born. but that never stopped her from peeing at night. She does go to pre-k and all the parents there say there kids are fully trained. What do I do? She has shown me at times that she can go the night wthout peeing.......

Tori, the little one, has some medical problems and I am curious to know if any or you have experienced this. In August of last year, she was a little less than 2 at that time, Tori began vomiting. There was no fever present and there were no warning signs of it. She just started to vomit. The peds thought at first she was ill with what ever. But as the days and weeks and eventually months went on they began to realize it was not a cold of any kind causing this. So now, 9 months later she is seeing a specialist and continueing to vomit. He has done all sorts of blood tests along with an ultra sound. All came out well. We have been schecdualed for an MRI and Upper GI. In the mean time she is on Zantac to help stop or reduce the vomiting.

Also she, opposite of her sister, has a problem peeing. She has gone upwards of 10 hours without peeing and that included drinking LOTS of water (sheloves water)
Have any of you gone through, are going throuhg this? If
so send me some mail and maybe you could help me with this. Thanks so very much

Hi Everyone,

What a day. Spent 4 hrs in ER (not the TV show LOL!!!)with Kyla. She was complaining of back, side and stomach pains, and I didn't want to take any chances so took her to the hospital. At the end her fever was gone, she was bouncing off of the curtains and we just wanted to go home. Doc figures just stomach flu. I don't think I told you, but DH broke his big toe on Tues (dropped a great big brick on it). It has been one medical drama after another at my house, and I hope that is the end of it.

Maryann-I don't think that you get the June Cleaver feeling until at least retirement, at least I haven't got it yet.

Sarah-Good thoughts to Erin and Julian.

Rita-Sorry your night out wasn't a success, hope little one is feeling better. I can imagine that your dad was teased being circ. as an adult.

Moriah-I dont want to debate the issue, but I am wishing I had followed my instincts when Caelen was born and had it done.
Sorry to hear that you have had to postpone Alex's surgery, hope he's feeling better soon. Give him a big high five from Caelen.

Christina-Hope Alyssa is feeling better, there has been a lot of not well babies this week, I guess it is just a suseptible age. 90210 has one more episode left next week and one couple will be married, who is your guess. And ER had season finally next week, but will return next season, but it won't be the same without Carol.

Julianne-Yeah for finals being over. I commend you for being able to do it. I did two yrs when Kyla was about 2 and it was hard trying to find time to get everything done. I figure I'll go back again when I am 50 LOL!!!

Alice- That's scary with Nathan and his booster. Kyla did that when she was around 3 as well, shortly after we bought a 2 door ( i'd never own another 2 door again, pain in the but with kids) now our car has the safety locks. We don't use them, but I guess as Caelen gets a bit bigger we'll have to start. Are you English-had to laugh at little bugger comment, that's one of my favorite expressions.

Well thank you for all of your well wishes for Caelen, it's starting to look a little better, so hipefully this will clear it up.

Hope you all have a good week-end, and I will chat again soon,

Hi all! Hust checking in & gotta run but I just wanted to talk to Paula for a moment!

Paula - OOPS! I see how you got confused - I do not want to debate the issue either! What I meant was that Geoff & I were going back & forth about it because Alex was unable to have it done at birth and now is the time to do it when he undergoes his next surgery. I was waivering because I don't want to give him something else to recover from since he's already been through so much. But now after talking to my Dr. we feel as though it's best for Alex to have it done. So we will probably go through with it during the surgery he'll be having next month (rescheduled from yesterday).

I'm sorry for the confusion - I totally did not word that right & I would never want to argue about it. It's a very personal decision for every family. I hope that it all works out for Caelen!

Hi! It's Martha. We just got back from our trip to AZ so I have tons of things to do. I just wanted to post to Barbara about flying.

Barbara - is it you who had questions about flying with a toddler? We just got done doing that! The biggest thing is getting flights that fit into Stephen's napping schedule if possible. Our last flight home was several hours past her bedtime and she screamed a lot. I must say she was pretty good on all of the other flights though. For entertainment, we had finger puppets, books, small toys. We also took on a sippy cup, food, bib, animal crackers. We also had diapers, wipes, changing pad, and some plastic bags for dirty diapers. We took an umbrella stroller that we left by the door of the plane and it was waiting for us when we got off. We also purchased a ticket for Mary Beth so she could have her own seat and we carried on her car seat. Her ticket was about half the price of ours. It's not easy traveling with a toddler but it is manageable. Oh yea, we also took some Dimetapp to give her to help her become sleepy. We only used it once. It might have worked for us if we had given it to her before we got on the plane so it would start working by the time the plane took off. Good luck to you!!

What a morning I had! I dragged Colton to 3 different stores getting b-day, mother's day, and bridal shower presents besides the usual grocery trip. He was good for most of the time but had some screaming fits too. I was so glad he fell asleep on the way home.

DH & I are going out tonight to celebrate our 7 yr anniversary (5-15). I am supposed to be looking up the local movie theater web-site to see what's playing tonight.

Jamie: Yeah for classes being done with. Enjoy your summer--sounds like you have lots of plans already.

Alice: What an escape artist you have on your hands. Yep, had leaky eyes watching ER!

Reenie: Welcome. Sorry to hear about the problems both your girls are going through. Sure hope the dr's find out why Tori is sick soon.

Paula: Hope you can stay away from the ER for a while. Were you hoping for a George look-a-like or what??

Martha: Welcome back.

Have a great Mother's Day tomorrow everyone.

Hi ladies & tots, Charline & Hayden here. Well, Hayden's diaper rash has finally healed but still no new teeth. He's been having a blast with walking all over the house and chasing our dog, Teddy. Teddy just went to the vet this a.m. for his 2 year check up and he has gained almost 4 pounds since Hayden was born. We have to put him on a lower calerie dog food. I think we just need to keep Teddy away from Hayden when he is eating. Hayden always wants to share his food with his best buddy.

Alice-Thanks for the birthday wishes for Hayden. How is the calendar working with Nathan? He sounds so excited about his upcoming birthday. Nathan does sounds like a little bugger taking off his seatbelt and opening the door. Good thing you have safety locks.

Julianne-Thanks for the birthday wishes bor Hayden. That's cool that they are putting in a video system at Colton's daycare where you can check in during the day. Have a great night out with DH. Happy 7th Anniversary!

Paula-You are not terrible for not getting Caelen's pictures done professionally. You are probably smarter than me who has spent hundreds of dollars having Hayden's picture taken. I hope that Caelen's infection heals quickly! Poor little guy:( I'm glad that Kyla is ok. Hope that your DH's toe heals quickly.

Paris-Good for you to be helping Peter's nephew out by having him come to live with you.

Helen-The weather was nice last weekend. It was a bit hot for me on Sunday though and the pollen was killer.

Jenni-Hayden loves to walk back and forth around the house all day. He also loves chasing the dog. His teeth still haven't broken through yet. Too cute about Nicholas kissing himself in the mirror. Hayden also loves to do that.

Lee- I hope that Hunter is feeling better and that Gabby's ankle heals quickly! Too funny about Hunter's booger facsination!lol!

Darleen-Congrats on a getting the part-time job!

Sarah-Glad to hear that Hannah was an Angel for you. I watched ER on Thursday. It was pretty good. Now, I have to watch it next week. I haven't watched it regularly since before I was pregnant. I was too tired. I will keep Erin & Julian in my prayers.

LisaB-It sounds like Max really loves his Elmo books:) Hayden loves Elmo also. Hayden's rash is better but the teeth are taking there time to poke through.

Moe-I hope that AJ sleeps better for you and stops hitting his mommy.

Beth-Yeah for Allison for staying dry for 3 nights! I saw ER on Thursday and was thinking the same thing about Hayden. It was very sad. Hayden's teeth still haven't broken through yet. Thanks for wishing that they come soon.

Maryann-It sounds like Mias will be walking on her own very soon.

Rita-Thanks for the compliment about Hayden. Sorry to hear that you had to cut the movie short because Maddy was sick. I hope that she feels better soon!

Moriah-I hope that Alex feels better. Thanks for the tip about babystyle .com.

Christina-I hope that Lys is feeling better soon.

Jamie-Have a great trip to Houston. I hope that Gabe's teeth come in soon also. Hayden's have still not broken through yet.

Welcome Reenie!

Martha-Welcome back1 It sounds like the plane trip went pretty well. How was the rest of your trip?

Sorry that this is so long. Have a Wonderful Mother's Day tommorrow! All of you mommies certainly deserve it!
