Expert Q&A

I have an 18-month-old who is just made it to 25 pounds. I have a 5-year-old that is very much overweight and an 11-yr-old very much underweight. I would like to know what the average 18-month-old weighs? We are very careful with meal planning and working with a dietician for the middle child.

The 50th percentile of weight (where 50 percent of kids weigh less and 50 percent weigh more) for an 18-month-old is 25 and a half pounds.
