What causes toddler acne?
First of all, toddler acne is very rare - a quick literature search turned up only two case reports. Its cause is unknown, and the treatment is essentially the same as for acne at other stages of life. Because it is so rare, I would recommend checking to see if he has some other cause for his "break outs," such as eczema or atopic dermatitis.
