My 2-year-old often holds his ears. Could his sensitivity to sound indicate a problem?
Many children are light sensitive and sound sensitive in early life. It's very common, actually. It's not really an indicator of ear problems. I would mention it to your pediatrician the next time you go, but not worry about it.
