I write this entry through many tears and ask for your prayers for a friend.
Last October I started to watch a little boy *Z*. I liked his mom right away and new we would get along wonderfully. Over the next month we started to talk more and she told me she was pregnant with twins. She had her due date swtiched around on her several times and quietly in the back of my mind I thought her Dr's where giving her the run around and not doing thier jobs~ But I kept my mouth shut. I mean there was a HUGE diffrence in the due dates she was given!It went from April to June to July? Oui Vey~ All I got out of it was, her cycles are all screwed up therfore throwing off the dates.Anyhow, I just remained quiet and didn't want to step on friends toes. Well, she had several ultrasounds and blood work done and they thought one of the babies had dwarfism ( sp??)and both babies where measuring on the small side for the dates given. Time went on and she was finally given a inducment day of July 14th. Somehow the date got switched to the 16th and *A* was excited. I watched *Z* the night of the 14th so she could some rest and on the 15th they had family over to help with the final touches on the nursery. By mid- afternoon she was having some bad cramps and sent everyone home. She then called the Dr and they said to go on in to Labor and Delivery. She went in and they went to hook her up and get her all ready and then every parents worst nightmare came true. They could not find heartbeats. They pulled out the ultrasound and still no heartbeats. :o( So, *A* was induced and last night gave birth to two boys Lucas and Ethan 3 pounds and 4 pounds both born still with thier spirts already in heaven. :o(
*A* has decided to get an autopsy done on the boys and will know the results sometime this week. I guess one of the boys was really short and there is a questins of a heart defect. I will be sure to update on my ttm when I recieve any info. Please keep this family in your prayers. They have not told *Z* yet and are unsure as to how he is going to deal with it. He was so excited about having baby brothers. He was telling me about it all the time when he was here.
I was at a loss for words when *A* called me and just did not what to say. I mean.. what could I say. I just listened to her as she talked and told her I am here to listen and if she needed anything to tell me. I can not even begin to know the pain she is going through right now and it just hurts that I can't help her more.
