Summer break is finally here!? I am not sure if I am very excited about this or not.LOL. I may have mentioned in a previous entry that we have decided to take J.t. off his meds for the summer. Joe and I agreed that medicating him was only to help in his learning process at school and not a way to give us a "break" from his behaviors. I know we are only one day into summer break but I can tell already, it will be a bit of a challenge. I know that we can do this though, and I am hoping Jt will learn to have better control over his behaviors before the summer is over. If I start to see his relationships with friends and his siblings starting to be affected then we will re-think this decision. Jt received an excellent report card and got all 1’s and 2 +’s! Yyaaaaah. We have decided to continue with tutoring this summer so he can have a jump start on second grade and possibly be ahead of the game.

Jt is such a handsome boy, and now that he is tan he looks even more beautiful. Last night we had two fifth grade girls at our door giggling and asking to talk to J.t. I have heard through the grapevine that they like the” raspy voice he has, and the bright blue eyes!” All the girls call him Ty (Trading spaces). The funny thing about that is, his middle name is Tyler, and we had planned to call him Ty. Then the name Jt somehow started and stuck. Geeesh my baby is only 7 for goodness sakes! ( I think daddy is secretly saying "That's my boy")
It has been a while since I have posted some general info on the kiddos so I will start now with J-man.
J.t is currently in a size 8 pants and shorts and size 8 for dress shirts and t-shirts. He is very lean and even has a bit of a six pack stomach (arrrggggg lol). I am not sure about is weight but I believe, he is around 55 pounds. He has light brown hair with blonde streaks going through it and has a wonderful tan, thanks to our vacation. He wears a 11 1/2 play shoe and 2 dress shoes. He still LOVES sports and plays for the cubs (as you know if you have been reading my diary *wink*) He loves to fish at the pond behind our house and is a great little spunky boy. His favorite food is Ramen noodles (?) and would eat them every day if I let him. He also enjoys steak, Lobster, crab legs, calamari, Lasagna and he LOVES vegetables. Every day is an adventure in this little boy’s life. Just think Huck Finn. LOL. Recent picture of J.T. http://pages.ivillage.com/mommy2three2000/jtonthecruise/

Alec is your typical 2 year old who has picked up on some behaviors that I am not at all happy with. He has become quite demanding and if you say no to him, he will continue to be persistent with his demands. After a few moments he will push out the lower lip and start the tantrum. We have even had a couple of the leg and arm flying tantrums that always attract attention from outsiders. He has also taken to shouting in your face if you have something he wants and won’t give it to him. This one bugs me the most however; I think we are almost done with it. He knows this is cause for a SERIOUS time out and will even look at the time out chair right after he does it now. Potty training may be in the near future for little Mr. Alec. While on vacation Alec got SO excited about Mickey Mouse and anything having to with having Mickey Mouse on it. Normally, I am not one for pull ups but when Alec went crazy over Mickey Mouse pull ups I had to give in and give it a try. It is a step in the right direction that’s for sure. I am going to look for real Mickey Mouse underwear this weekend and give real potty training a try once again.
Alec is currently in a 2T or 3T shorts and 3T shirt. His shoes (brand new Nemo shoes) are 9W and he is approx 35 pounds. He has a solid build like his daddy and has the cutest little belly. He still has a very faire complexion and only got a little color while on vacation. Alec still loves the same foods, Mac and cheese, home made chicken fingers, Pb and J, ramen noodles, spaghetti, bread and cheese. Besides Mickey Mouse, Alec’s new infatuation is Nemo! Every time we see anything Nemo he needs to take a peak. We saw the movie on the Cruise (at 12:01 a.m. on Friday! We were the first people in the world (?) to see it and I think he was the only 2 year old still awake at the end of the movie) and he was glued to the screen the entire time. I am even thinking of buying the bedding set I saw the other day for him. We have a fish tank and he is constantly looking for Nemo in there. LOL . Recent picture of Alec

Autumn truly believes she is a princess. No joke, she does. I suppose that is not a bad thing; however it has led to a couple tantrums when things do not go the way she expects them to. It is extremely hard to not laugh at her when she stands and pouts about a situation. I would say out of the three kids Miss Autumn gave us the hardest time on vacation. If she did not feel like walking she wanted to be in the stroller at that moment and didn’t want to wait. If she was dissatisfied with something she would plop her royal patootie down on the ground no matter where she was or how many people where walking her way. We didn’t let it get to us though and would not give in. Do not get me wrong, this princess has a very sweet side and is always thinking about others. She had wonderful manners while on the cruise and eating dinner. She even developed a little crush on our waiter Jean from Paris and tried incredibly hard to impress him. It worked, and he was absolutely smitten with her from day one.
Thankfully, Autumns Uti did not cause anymore problems while we were on vacation. The Monday after we got home she went back to the Dr to take another urine test. Everything was clear and they sent it out to the lab for further testing. I will be calling the Urologist next week to make an appt.
Autumn is currently in a size 5 shirt and 4 or 5 bottom. She is 43 inches tall and 42 pounds and wears a size 11W shoe. She still hates to have her hair done but we get through it. Her favorite food without a doubt is home made Mac and cheese. While we were on the cruise she could have had anything she wanted for dinner and every single night for 6 nights she had Mac and cheese with chicken noodle soup. Autumn still has a beautiful dark complexion that I envy. Here is a recent picture of PRINCESS Autumn. :o)

As for Joe and I…. We are getting back into the real world, yet have held onto our vacation attitudes. I learned that there really is know benefit from fretting over silly nonsense things and there is no reason you can’t live every day as a vacation. Watching the people from other countries we visited, taught me that lesson. I know that all sounds a bit crazy and child-like. However, it a new lifestyle we have decided to adopt. The world is a BEAUTIFUL place and even though I do not live by a beach that is no reason to not appreciate my surroundings and thank the Creator for all that has been given to me. Okay enough of my babbling. I will close my entry for now. Take a peak at the three pictures I scanned. I am taking in 8 rolls tomorrow so there will be a ton more to share soon.

Thank you for reading

Tanya
