* Okay where are my May Flowers? *
Isn’t there a saying “April Showers Bring may flowers.”? Yesterday, we were stuck inside because of thunderstorms and the kids were 100% CRANKS because of it. Today, they have forecasted storms all day and I hope I can keep a good mood flowing. This morning at 6:00 am I gave up my quest for sleep and went downstairs. Even though it was drizzling a bit I opened up the windows and listen to the birds chirping away as I had some quiet time and did my bible study. I have decided to make myself wake up at this time every morning to get this wonderful quiet time. I was able to sit there and just be with myself and it felt so wonderful. I was in a better mood and ready to greet the morning with a smile as the kids started waking up. I noticed this morning was not as tense and rushed, everything went very smoothly.
*Marriage and a Thank you*
Joe and I seem to be doing a little better and we both seem to be much more calm and understanding with one another. After I wrote Easter entry I decided to once again turn to the Lord and put our marriage in his hands. If I start to feel frustrated or mad with Joe I simply close my eyes and ask for help through it and then go on. It does me know good to complain to others about my marriage and I need to just focus on making things between us the best I can. I have faith that Joe and will be together for many happy years to come and we will overcome any obstacles thrown away as long as we rely on our Christian faith and trust that God has a plan for us. A HUGE thank you goes out to Nicole T from babies today for reminding me of this on my TTM board. Sometimes life gets in the way and I forget these simple yet important things of life.

I don’t know if I mentioned before or not, that I have been drinking slim-fast for breakfast and lunch since January and so far I have done very well on the plan. I use the powder mix and sometimes I will add strawberries or bananas to the shakes. They actually turn out very tasty. I have gone from size 12 to size 8 in only a few short months. I know that many people think that Slim fast is not all that great for you and has a lot of sugar in it. However, before I started slim-fast I ate bad food and sometimes skipped meals and I figure this has to be better for me then what I was doing before. I feel so much better about myself and my eating habits now. If we go to parties or go out to eat I am much more aware of what I am snacking on and limit my portions. I have about 20 more pounds to go and then I will scale down to just one snack a day to maintain my weight and then eat a breakfast and dinner. I went out this afternoon and joined Women’s Workout World. I know it is a little club and not anything like the old club we went to, but it is all that I really need. They offer classes at all different times of the day and I can go and work out and get away from all the activity at home. I love my children more then anything, but I have been feeling as though I need some time away to keep my sanity in tact. Especially this summer when Jt is home from school all day…. I will need a least an hour to myself each evening. The club has a babysitting area that is not anything to get excited about but has plenty of things to keep the kids busy for the hour I workout.
*If you pray….please pray for my friend Tara. If you do not pray……Please keep her in your thoughts*
As a lot of you know already my best friend Tara had her triplets on April 30th and she was only 24 ˝ weeks pregnant. Last night I went to go visit her and she let me go see the babies. I was brought to tears when I saw these three little blessings as they were so tiny. I could not believe how perfect their little toes and hands were. If you take your pointer finger and measure from your knuckle to the tip of your finer that is how long their feet are. They are about 11-12 inches long and their arms and legs are about as wide as a finger. Louie, Christopher and Mikelia are all holding their own and on 40% oxygen. Tara is of course, really sad and an emotional wreck. She goes home tomorrow (Sunday) and does not want to leave her babies.
Moving on to other baby news, my friend Angie is going to be having her twins on the 9th at the same hospital Tara is at. Poor Angie is so ready to have these babies and I hope that everything goes well with the delivery. Gosh… I am going to be able to visit 5 newborns, I wonder if the baby itch will rub off on me? Lol

J.T. had another baseball game yesterday afternoon and did a great job again. He stays so concentrated while he is out there and he is really into the game. Every time J.t. hit off the pitch and got to base. He played catcher twice and all the coaches (including daddy) said he does VERY well in that position and really hustles to get the ball. His next game is Tuesday and of course there will be another update in my next entry.

I got up at 6 am this morning and ran two miles on the treadmill at the gym and felt amazing after the workout. I have so much energy today and feel so much more awake then I normally do. I really hope that I can keep up this routine and make it a habit and become healthier and thinner.
I will end this entry for now…. I know I promised the 10 things I Love about Alec and promise I will get that and more explanation of his birth story (I haven’t forgotten You Tara (BF) ) up soon!
