November 23, 1999

My big news this week is that I am NOT pregnant!!! What a relief!!! I need a couple of years to enjoy my girls before I would even consider having another baby. I don't think I have ever been so happy to get AF. We didn't try to get pregnant with either of the girls, it just happened, but I wasn't upset or anything. I was happy to be pregnant, but now I'm just not ready to be pregnant again. Amazingly, I am much less emotional now. I must have had a killer case of PMS!!!

We have had a pretty uneventful week, just busy. Trying to do a little Christmas shopping here and there so I don't have to go out and find presents for 30 people the week of Christmas. This afternoon I'm taking the girls to get their Christmas pictures taken. I can't wait to see them all dressed up in their matching dresses.

I also can't wait until Wednesday night. My grandmother wants to take Jordan with her to my aunt's house in New Hampshire to help with the Thanksgiving preparations. They are leaving on Wednesday morning and sleeping over since it is a two hour drive. We'll go up on Thursday with the baby, and Jordan will come home with us. I did the good mom thing and tried to talk some sense into my Gramma. I told her that it will be hard for her to get anything done with a 2 year old running around a house that isn't child proofed. She still wants to take her, and my friend who lives next door wants to take the baby for a couple of hours on Wednesday night. My DH actually will be home Wednesday night so we made plans to go out to dinner and a movie!!! I can't tell you the last time that happened. I'm so excited, you would think I was going out for on date with a boy for the first time. I can't wait. I've been telling everyone that I can't wait for all this to happen but I know that Wednesday night I'll be missing Jordan and can't wait to see her. Ahh, being a mother!!!
