Megan's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 3, 2000

Good-bye. This is it everyone!!! My little girl is going to be a preschooler, weep, sob!!! Wasn't it just last year that I was in the hospital having her? It couldn't have been three years. Where has the time gone? On this upcoming Monday Oct.9th Jordan will be 3 years old. When I look at her I don't see my "baby" anymore. She is so grown up, she looks like a little person. She really has grown up in this last year. She talks so well now, she dresses herself, she is day potty trained, she can put her own seatbelt on over her booster seat. I miss some of the baby stuff but it is so amazing to see her becoming so mature.

Next year she'll be going to preschool.OK, now I'm getting all weepy so on to happier thoughts. I think I am just as excited about Jordan's birthday party as she is. I went and ordered the cake she wanted, an ice cream cake with Blues Clues on it. I also started to get her some presents. I'm planning on getting her one of those kidproof cassette players with a microphone. I think Fisher Price makes one. Jordan is always wanting to use our big CD/tape player and she loves to sing into DH's microphone so I thought it would be perfect. Today I picked up some book/tape things where you read along in the book with the tape. I also got her the sound track to Mary Poppins since she loves that movie and those songs. I think her party is going to be a blast. My grandmother (Jordan's Nonnie) will be flying in on Friday and Jordan is so happy she can't wait!!!

I will write all about the big party in my intro at Preschoolers Today. I hope that everyone will follow me over there and still read my diary here at TT for Jazmine.

Thanks everyone, it's been great!!!
