Hello one and all,
We took Jordan to a local amusement park yesterday for the first
time. She really enjoyed herself. I thought for sure she might be
scared of the rides but nope, she had no fear. She rode every single
one of the kiddie rides, and she loved the kiddie roller coaster. I
was getting misty eyed when she rode the first ride by herself. That
was my baby up there in the little helicopter, it just reinforced the
fact that she is growing up!!! DH went to ride all the big scary
rides by himself because I just do not like rides with the whole
purpose is to try and not throw up afterwards. Jordan kept pointing
to the big rides and saying she wanted to go on them. I know as soon
as she hits that height requirement she'll be by his side on all
those kinds of rides. At lest I'll have the baby to do kiddie land
with in a couple of years. It's pretty sad that I was feeling ill
after the ferris wheel!!! I'm such a dare devil!! LOL.
I am attaching some pictures of Jordan at the amusement park, some
are a little fuzzy because the ride was moving but I had to share
this momentous occasion with everyone.
Jordan had a check up yesterday as a follow up from her lead poisoning, thank goodness she is still far down on the danger level. She has grown an inch and lost a pound over the summer. She is 37 lbs and 37 3/8 inches. Yes, she is a big girl. People always think she is already 3 because she is so tall. And she very solid, not fat but when she stands next to other little girls they always look more delicate than she is. But she is healthy and happy and I'm not going to complain.
Well, I need to send this in before the deadline so I'll wrap it up
for this week!!! Oh, one other thing, just want to pat myself on the
back a little. School is over until September and we got our grades
in and I got a 3.6 for my class. I'm happy, I was worried that I
wouldn't be able to really give it my best with all the other things
going on in my life. Have a good week everyone!!!
