Megan's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 3, 2000

Happy 4th of July,

Jordan Putting my entry in early so I don't forget to do it tomorrow. We are going up to DH's family lake cabin for the day. A bunch of his family and some friends will be there and we won't get home until late. I'm sure it will be a fun day. Jordan is looking forward to it very much. It's all she talks about, we went to the store yesterday to buy her a life jacket and she has been wearing it ever since in anticipation. She is too cute!!! I'll write next week about all the fun she has.

Jordan is still doing wonderful with the potty training. We have had less and less accidents. It's weird, it seems she has more accidents of pooping in her underwear rather than peeing. I thought that kids did better potty training with BM's and had a harder time with urine. Oh well Jordan seems to march to the beat of a different drum in so many ways why should this be different.

Jordan The only time she is wearing a diaper is at nap and bedtime. It is still too soon for her to have that control mastered which upsets her. Every couple of days she asks to wear her undies for a nap and I let her and she wakes up wet and crying and then asks for her diaper to go to sleep for the next couple of days.

Potty training is incredibly easy now that Jordan wants it. I will definitely let Jazmine decide when it is time. I also don't use Pull-ups at all with Jordan. She just thinks they are diapers and they are a real pain to pull up and down. Underwear works better for Jordan and it's much cheaper!!!

I've attached a few pictures of Jordan (hopefully they'll come out, I'm still mastering the digital camera), one is her in the tub and the other is her wearing the famous Grammie Robin shirt. Hope you all have a great day!!!
