Megan's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
June 21, 2000
Hi Everyone, I'm a little down today. I have a little bit of a cold and tomorrow is my birthday, I'm going to be 27. Where has the time gone? It seems like it is flying by. I don't want to be 27, too close to 30 for me. Also DH is out of town until Friday so not only am I 3,000 miles from my family for my birthday but my husband isn't even around. Okay, I'll get off my pity pot now and talk about Jordan.
Jordan has started to really miss her Grammie (my mom). She has become obsessed with her, she talks about her all the time. She has a t-shirt that was my mom's that she sleeps with as a nightgown. Lately she wants to wear it every night and we battle in the morning to put on regular play outside clothes. She has also started telling everyone that her name is Jordie Robin. Robin is my mother's name. It is kind of cute to hear her call herself that but it makes me sad also. Reminds me that I moved her so far away from people she was so attached to. She seems to really love my MIL and spending time with her but she misses her Grammie Robin too.
Jordan has found a new pasttime that she loves. I take the baby out for a walk around the neighborhood in her umbrella stroller and Jordan has a doll umbrella stroller that looks similar. She puts her Po doll in it and walks right beside me. It is very cute. The neighbors get a kick out of it.
Well, it is almost time to leave for story time at the library so I better get going.
Take care until next week.
Megan and Jordan
