Megan's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

June 14, 2000

Hi,

Jordan is doing well this week. She has a little bit of a cold but other than that she is her normal happy self. Actually things have been pretty boring and quiet here. Not that I am complaining, all the stress and stuff with moving took it's toil.

I am looking into Pre-school for Jordan for the fall. Since I'll be going back to school I think it will be a good idea for her to go to Pre-school. I know she'll love it. She loves to be with other kids, she always is asking to go see "friends". Of course friends can be anybody from the kids next door to someone she just met at the grocery store. She is super friendly!!!

We had a cute conversation yesterday. We were in the car and Jordan pointed to the baby and said, "She's Jazmine Byers." I was surprised that she said both the baby's first and last name so I asked her what her name was and she said, "I Jordie (what she calls herself) Byers." So then I ask what my name is thinking she would say Megan because she recently has realized I have a name other than mommy and has been calling both DH and myself by our names. But when I asked her she sat there for a minute thinking and then said, "You Mommy Byers". It was cute.

I think Jordan is going to have a fun summer. My MIL will be watching the girls while I take a summer class and she has signed the girls up for Story Time and Puppet Shows at the Library. DH's family also owns a cabin on the lake about a hour away and we are being given a key so we can go up there when ever we want. I think Jordan will enjoy playing in the sand and wading in the lake. We are also hoping to take a trip to Seattle for a couple of days. I think Jordan would have fun doing that too. She loves to go, go, go. I wish I had her energy.

That's about it for this week. Have a good one.
