Hello,This last week has been a good one. I feel more at "home" here now. We have found a couple of different playgrounds that are near by so Jordan is happy. We went out last night to Chuck E. Cheese with DH's Aunt and her 3 youngest, the two boys are 7 and 11 and the girl is 13. Jordan had so much fun playing with her "cousins." Jazmine enjoyed the attention too. It was nice to get together with them and we have made plans to have them come over to our house to play.
I have been looking at summer college classes and have narrowed it down to two different ones. I will pick one to take so I can ease back into school. I am looking forward to it, I really enjoy school. Of course I am a little nervous, every time I have returned to college I have gotten pregnant at the end of the semester. I don't want that to happen, two is my limit!!! LOL
We did have a little bit of a scare the other day. We were walking down the block to go to the park and the girls were in the stroller with Jazmine in the front when this big black dog that looked part lab and part pit bull came running up the street towards us. At first I thought it was just being friendly but as it got closer I could hear the way it was barking and it had it's teeth bared. I was so scared, it was trying to go to the baby and I'm trying to move the stroller a way. I just started screaming at the top of my lungs, "Get away, go, go!" A couple of neighbors came out and one had a broom and chased the dog away. I was shaking afterwards, especially after the neighbors told me that the people who own the dog have had a lot of complaints about the dog lodged against them with Animal Control. I called and complained too. I just couldn't imagine one of the children being bit.
Well, that is about it for this week. Take care everyone!!! Megan and Jordan
