Hi,Time is counting down. We are leaving here in 10 days. I still have so much to do so I'm pretty much stressing all the time. Well, on to Jordan.
This past weekend while I was at work was filled with heart-stopping action. First, and the least bad thing, was that on Friday night my brother decided to let Jordan ride on his dirt bike with him. He did make her wear a helmet but I still wasn't happy, he is filled with scars from all his dirt biking accidents and I don't think that is the best thing for a 2-year-old to ride, even though she enjoyed it and kept telling him to go faster. The next thing was while my mom was watching the girls Jordan was playing on the front porch and my mom went in the house to get the baby a bottle. She left the front door open and Jordan has played on the porch often and never tried to leave it. We have a very long driveway that leads to a somewhat busy road. Well, after a few minutes my next door neighbor is knocking on the door holding Jordan. Luckily she had been walking by her front window and saw Jordan at the bottom of the driveway almost in the street pushing her little shopping cart. Jordan told everyone that she had wanted to go shopping. When I called to check in and they told me I cried for about a half an hour. The fear I felt for what could have happened is making me weepy even now.
On Saturday while my Grandma was watching her they went to the park and while my Grandma was pushing the baby in the swing Jordan found a can filled with some liquid and started drinking it. Luckily she didn't get sick and my Grandma said she drink a little to she if there was something poisonous in it and she didn't taste anything more than a sugary soda drink.
Then on Sunday when the girls were home with DH he was playing around with Jordan on the floor and some how she got this huge scratch from the middle of her forehead to right below her left eye. I guess she closed her eye because her eye looks fine even though the rest on her face looks all beat up.
I know things happen with kids but so many things in one weekend made me crazy. On Sunday night I just sat and held her and told her how much I love her. I hate to think of anything bad happening to her.
Well, I really need to get packing. It seems that after I finish the dishes, laundry, meals and other regular day to day cleaning I have no time left to get to the packing!!! Wish me luck!!!
