Megan's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Hi All,Hope everybody had a Happy Easter or Passover, which ever you celebrate. We had a pretty good day. Jordan loved looking for the basket that the Easter bunny had hidden for her. She of course spent the day ingesting massive amounts of chocolate but she wasn't too hyper and she didn't get sick. During the afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt for her at my Grandmother's. She seemed to enjoy that, too.
Recently we realized that Jordan is more like me than I thought. We noticed that after we read her a bedtime story and tuck her in for the night that often she gets up, puts her light on and reads her books quietly for about another half hour or so until she is tired and then she gets up, turns the light off and goes to sleep. I am very happy!!! This is something I have done for as long as I can remember. I used to do it to help me fall asleep and now it usually the only chance I get to read during the day and reading is my favorite pastime. I told Jordan that once we move I will get her her own night stand and one of those touch lamps so she wouldn't have to get out of bed. She seems happy about this. The girl loves books, she is so cute, she loves to "read" to her sister and the baby seems to enjoy it too.
Well, we are getting closer to our moving date. I'm a little worried about how Jordan will handle being away from us for almost a week. She has never been away from us that long. She enjoys sleeping over other people's houses but she usually starts asking for us within 24 hours. We are leaving at night on Saturday the 13th and my mom and Grandma aren't flying out with the girls until the 19th. We are going to call every night but I worry that Jordan will be very upset not be in her own home and to not see mommy and daddy for so long. Any advice?
Until next week!!
Megan and Jordan
