Hi Everyone,This has been a very emotional week. It is now a fact, we are moving to Spokane, Washington. We will be leaving Rhode Island and driving across the country with all our belongings. Scary!!! At first we weren't going to move because I found out that the place DH would be working was two hours away from Spokane not "just outside" of it like they first said, but they really wanted him, so they offered him a position in Spokane, so we took it. His family is so happy, my family isn't. I haven't even told my Grandmother yet, but my mom and close friends are all very sad. My mom and I have been crying for the last two days, I feel so bad that I am taking her only grandchildren 3,000 miles away. She is very close to them. My mom is truly wonderful though -- as sad as she is with the situation, she is being so helpful. She offered to have the girls stay with her while we drive to Spokane and then they will fly out with them shortly after we get there and she'll help out while we set the house up.
Because we are only going to be here another month and a half we have started to do fun stuff with those we are leaving. Tomorrow the girls and I are going with my mom to Boston for the day to visit the Children's Museum, which Jordan is going to love because they have an Arthur exhibit and he is her newest obsession.
We have started to explain to Jordan that we are going to move to a new house and we will be living near Gramma Margie. She seems okay with this but she is so young I don't think she will really get it until it happens. Right now she is just loving all the extra attention she is getting from everyone. If anyone has any advice or has moved with a toddler please let me know anything to help ease the transition. Well, I'd better get going, I have so much to do in the next month!!!
