Megan's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 9, 2000

Hello,

This week has been pretty miserable. Last Thursday, Jordan was complaining of a tummy ache and she had a fever since Sunday, so I took both the girls to the doctor's because the baby hadn't been eating and sleeping right for a couple of days. Well, both the girls have ear infections. Oh boy!!! They have been very clingy and sickly ever since. I have a feeling that we will be making a trip back to the doctor's soon, since they both have been on antibiotics since last Thursday and a week later neither one seems any better.

We basically haven't done anything since the girls are sick. We had planned an outing to Chuckie Cheese for last week but had to cancel it, and we haven't even gone out to do anything like shopping or getting dinner with them. I'm going a little stir crazy, it is good that I had to work during the weekend. It was like a vacation. I hope the girls get better soon.

Not only has Jordan been miserable while sick but we have now backslid due to her illness. She refuses to take any medicine and the only thing she would drink was a bottle so that's we have been hiding the medicine in. I think she knows it's in there with the milk because she'll say "milk yucky" but she knows that she is getting a treat being able to lay on the couch with her blanket, pillow and a BOTTLE that she drinks it without arguing. Because when we put it in her juice she refuses to drink that at all if she tastes something different in it. Now as much as I want her better I know we are in for a battle about the bottle and the blanket and pillow on the couch. Well, the girls are whining for me so until next week.

Bye,

Megan and germy Jordan
