Laurie's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 29, 2002

I do believe that this age (toddler) has to be the best age - also probably the most trying at times but overall the best age! (My mom says that I will say this at every age!:)) Hannah is really doing well. She is officially off of the bottle! Yea! It was overall a pretty smooth transition. She still has to take a sippy cup to bed but I can live with that. In some ways I am happy to put the bottles away but in some ways it makes me sad. Hopefully we will be able to start the adoption process again soon. I am definitely ready!

Hannah is really into dancing and music. I tell her to shake her "booty" and she just dances away! It is so cute! We dance at least 15 minutes every night now or until we are too tired from spinning, whichever happens first!

We opened the pool and Hannah is ready to go swimming every day! I think we adopted a fish not a baby! She loves water. Almost so much that she has no fear of it. Last summer she was in the pool almost everyday with me or Tim. Yesterday it rained and she just stared out the window at the pool and pointed. When we go to take her out of the pool she just cries. In a month, we we will meet my parents and two brothers and their families in the Lake of the Ozarks and go boating and swiming for one week. I am really looking forward to this. I'm sure Hannah will have a ball with all the water!

Well, not much else to report!

Take care everyone,

Laurie and Hannah (01/16/01)
