Katrina's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

September 9, 2003

September 9, 2003

I realize it has been over a month since my last entry and I do apologize for that.

This will be my last entry on Toddlers Today as I now have a Diary on Moms Today. I would love for you to come on over and keep up with us at Moms Today!

What has Virginia been up to?
She is busy trying to figure out how to be a Big Sister. Her little brother, Benjamin, was born August 15, 2003. Virginia was really confused at first because I was not around right after he was born since he needed to stay in the NICU. Once we brought him home, Virginia caught a cold and needed to be a "little baby" herself. However, once she started to feel better she was ready to be a big sister. She tells Benjamin that he is "Soooo Cute" and she likes to hold him. She has also tried to change a diaper! There has been a little jealousy, which we expected. However, we have really tried to make an effort to keep special time with Virginia. One of the special times I have with Virginia is grocery shopping. I'm sure that doesn't sound like a lot of fun to most people, but Virginia loves it. Especially pushing around her own little cart (the store I go to has child size carts) and filling it with all the goodies she wants (mostly fruit and cereal bars).

Virginia started her first day of 3 year old preschool on August 21, 2003 (also reason for her cold). She attends our church preschool for 3 hours on Tuesday and Thursdays. She really likes going to school. But I suspect part of that is due to her new back pack. She thinks she is so cool with her new backpack, especially since it has her name sewn on it.

Virginia is also into Dora the Explorer now. She loves playing Dora games on the computer and watching the show on TV. Right now Dora is her favorite with Dragon Tales as a close second.

I have finally updated her website. The link is:

I hope to see you over at Moms Today!
Hugs,
Katrina
