Kimberly's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 3, 2000
I'm trying to increase Sam's social life a little so we started going to a library program for babies 0 to-24 months. Today was our first day. At first Sam was shy and clung to me, but he got more and more brave and ended up having a good time. At singing time, the first song they had us sing was "B-I-N-G-O," which is still Sam's favorite song. The program is really to promote early literacy skills but I've been doing that all along. I just think Sam will benefit from being around other kids.
Sam gets into everything! The house always looks like a hurricane has hit. Last night I was reading on the couch and looked up to see Sam at the coffee table with pink finger paint all over his hands! He was chattering and smiling and very pleased with himself. The paint had fallen off the shelf, Sam had found it and decided he would finger paint. Luckily he had also brought a piece of paper over so not much paint was on the coffee table.
Sam has started eating different kinds of fruit. He'll eat pears and apples now and tasted strawberries but didn't like them.
That's all for this week,
Kimberly
