Teething again!!!! It seems like each tooth is more painful than the one that came before. This one should be in by the end of the week. He ate a little today. I made some carrot muffins which were a hit.
I'm discovering that Sam is a very sensitive little fellow. Our cat was sick on Monday and Sam was very upset about it. I explained that Max had a hurt tummy and felt "ouch." Sam got teary and went looking for the kitty, wailing "Max, Max!" I also have to be careful about my tone of voice, even in play. I was reading a book to him and to emphasize that one of the characters yelled, I yelled. Now Sam gets upset when we get to that page in the book.
Speaking of books, Sam continues to be a bookworm. He'll sit to read books for what seems like hours! The book of the week is Dr. Seuss' One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
On Sunday we went to a lake with a beach. The water was shallow so Sam could sit in the water and play. He had so much fun splashing around. And Mike, Sam and I had a wonderful day together. We needed some family time.
I can't think of anything else new that's going on with Sam. He likes to say "Me an Daddy" (Mommy and Daddy). And he is changing his sleep patterns--who knows what they'll end up being!!!
Until next week, Kimberly
