Sam is getting more and more interested in crayons and pens. Scribbling is definitely one of his favorite activities. We went out to eat last night to a restaurant with paper on the tables. The waitress gave us some crayons and Sam enjoyed himself fully. He was very well behaved (until we were about to go when he started throwing french fries). He even ate some pasta. He has been trying (and liking) many new foods lately. Now that his tooth has broken through the gum his appetite has come back.

Books continue to be very important to Sam. He'll sit for 10-20 books sometimes.

Sam will now go through the tunnel on the climbing structure at the playground. At first I had to crawl through with him but now he has the confidence to go by himself (as long as I'm nearby). He doesn't climb well, but he doesn't have much interest in climbing. He is small for his age, so I wonder if that has something to do with it.
