Kimberly's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
May 16, 2000
May 16, 2000Well I finally moved Sam's crib to his bedroom. He's been sleeping in our room since he was born. Last night was the first night in his room. When he woke at 2:00 a.m. I took him to bed with us (as usual). So it was a fairly typical night for him--I don't think it matters to him where his crib is.
Sam's beginning to sing; he sings "EIEIO" to "Old Mac Donald." I don't sing that song with him, he just picked it up by listening to CDs and tapes.
Sam said "Daddy home"! It was a delayed imitation of me saying "Daddy's home" but it was his first 2 word utterance (except for "Puppy dog" and "good dog") He is a very verbal child. When he was younger I thought his talents would be visual/spatial because Mike is gifted in that area. But it seems as if Sam is more verbal than visual/spatial (like me). He still doesn't stack more than two blocks.
That's all for this week! Kimberly
