Kim's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 16, 2000

Hi Readers!

Tractors, tractors, tractors!

That is Max's new favorite thing in the whole world. He loves them more than Elmo, his bike or anything else! Every time we pass a tractor in a field or on the road he starts yelling and getting really excited. Keep in mind that he thinks riding lawnmowers are tractors and you can imagine how many of those we see in a day.

Last Sunday we went to my parent's house for dinner and Ross took Max for rides on their big mower. I've never seen a child so elated in my life! This is better than Santa...better than popscicles...better than BARNEY! I wish I would have had a camera to snap a photo of his face and the grin he was wearing. Ross said that once they got into the woods Max would raise his fist in the air and give a yell - woo hoo!

Now every morning on the way to daycare Max will mention "Da-da. Tacto". He's trying to tell me about Daddy taking him on the tractor. He gets really wound up just telling me about it!

It's wonderful how the simplest things make them so happy. Geez I love my kid!

Potentially the mother of a farmer, Kim
