Kim's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 8, 2000

Hi Readers!

Well, since last week's entry where I was stressing out about Max's whining, I've decided to take a different approach. Instead of having expectations of what his behavior should be, I'm just going to accept that some days are going to harder than others and some days he is just going to whine...plain and simple. I need to remember that he is only a year and a half old and he can't be expected to deal with his emotions like an adult. I'm just going to be and let him have his hard days, all the while telling him how much I love him. He may not be able to understand all that, but I'll feel better at just having told him.

There! Having said that, I now feel like I can relax about all the fussing and just let him be who he is. Whew!

In other news, Ross and I are now repainting our living room and have ordered new living room furniture. After this room is done, I will only have two more rooms do re-do in the new house before I'll be completely pleased with it. I think Ross is starting to tire out from all the painting and furniture moving he's done. What a guy!

I'll be posting pictures of Max's new room and some pictures of our recent family reunion next week.

Until next time... Kim
