This will be a short entry this week because there isn't much going on around here. Except that Ross and I have decided to start trying for a second child. Max is 18 months old so he'll be almost 2 1/2 by the time a new baby is born. I think that is a good age separation.

Hopefully it won't take too long before we're expecting again, but I've heard so much about secondary infertility that I'm starting to get freaked out! When we started trying for Max it took us exactly two days... I'm not kidding, two days! I have it in my head now that everything should be that easy, so I'll be really disappointed if it takes months and months.

Also, a few entries back I wrote about my grappling with the decision to be a SAHM or WAHM or work outside the home. Well, one comment that a reader wrote really struck me... "You can always restart your career, but you can't relive those years with your kids." Well said! I'm going to state my case to Ross and see how he reacts. Let's hope for the best!
