Hi everyone! I'm having mixed emotions right now. Ross and I are going up north this weekend to go snowmobiling with a group of friends. We're leaving Max with my sister and her family. As excited as I am to go snowmobiling and be out of town, I am getting sad about leaving Max.How will I be able to walk out the door and wave good-bye knowing I won't see him for two days? I know he will have a good time. I know he loves my sister and her family. I know he will fall asleep easy from pure exhaustion from playing with my nephews. Knowing all of this doesn't make leaving him any easier.
I've got to look at the plus side, right?! We just bought two new snowmobiles for Ross and me ... we're going to see friends that we haven't seen in awhile ... we'll get to be together for an entire weekend! Phew! I feel better.
Max went in yesterday for a recheck for his ear infection and (shocker!) it has not cleared up. We're going on three weeks with the same infection, so they finally gave him two shots to clear it up. Mid-March we're meeting with the ear nose and throat guy to look into tubes. Thank God!
By the time this hits the presses my weekend will be over, so hopefully all went well.
Until next time...
Kim
