We've had a horrible kidnapping here in Utah--a 14-year-old girl was taken from her bedroom by gunpoint at 1:00 a.m. The family is pleading for publicity--especially on-line help with posting her picture. Please ask websites that you might work for if you can post the girl's picture and a link to her story--I know all of their readers will want to help! You can get her picture and a link to the latest info at: www.ksl.com. If you haven't seen Elizabeth's picture please visit the site so you can see what she looks like.
Also, please talk to your kids about what they should do if anything like this ever happens to them. I had a very frank discussion with my 5-year-old and I know he will be screaming and kicking and biting before anyone can sneak him from the house. If he dies fighting (this is making me cry) I'd rather have him die with me holding him than have him killed while alone with some sicko! And I'd rather die trying to protect him than have him tortured and eventually killed somewhere without me.
