Brennen's favorite things:
The "B" loves the song BINGO he claps like a mad man and does this crazy wiggle dance (even in his car seat) when McKinley and I start to sing the B-I-N-G-O part and when we get to clapping well he just starts a yelling away and clapping it is soooo funny to watch him.
Laugh Tracks on the TV sitcoms:
It doesn't matter what show is on (a favorite is Everybody Loves Raymond) when there is a laughtrack or a live audience laughing "B" stops everything he is doing and laughs along with them. Its this loud phony laugh which is even funnier, John and I just laugh.. which makes him do it more and vice versa...who'd ever think TV could be so funny.
Zombie Mommy:
McKinley is crazy about zombies (thankyou Scooby Doo) and I pretend to be Zombie Mommy, (arms straight out, eyes bugged and a weird voice) she loves it and squeals and runs, well now Brennen does the same, following right behind her as I chase them, usually pushing McKinley in his path... they are a crazy pair when we play zombie mom.. as soon as McKinley says Zombie Mommy Brennen runs and squeals laughing.
Anything McKinley:
Anything McKinley does or wears, is a favorite of the "B", this morning she took off her nightie and I caught him (with some assistance from her) putting it on. He did a dance and clapped with her nightie on and actually wore it in the car to drive me to work. He was SO proud of himself to be wearing something she just had on. He also loves to colour right beside her, watching what she does and copying every move and expression. Its hilarious to watch. I often wonder how different McKinley would have been (personality wise) if she had an older sibling...
Any food especially drive thru: Brennen loves to snack he loves nothing better than blueberries, icecream, all meat, cucumbers, bagels from Tim Hortons and his new favorite chocolate milk from a straw. We now order him one at restaurants and I hold the glass and he sips the chocolate milk from the straw just like McKinley. When he is done he claps and beams like he has done an amazing feet. lol.
Mommy and her breasts:
Brennen is still avidly nursing, and now I am changing in a different room due to his insistance that I nurse him if he sees my breasts when I change. He is a true Mommy's boy, when he is hurt, happy, sad, tired or just wants to sit, its on me, he'll take daddy in a pinch but look out if I don't respond in the "mommy" manner he's looking for.. he'll push John away and pinch until I come for him.. yet during the day when I am at work he is fine with John... the little guy is smart I tell you.
Well, those are a few of the "B's" favorite things and I hope to add to this list pretty regularly so he can read them as he gets older and laugh along with us at his little personality.
