Well, my worst nightmare has come true, not only is "B" walking but he is literally running through our house, quicker than I could ever believe. McKinley took a slower route to walking with tentative steps and graceful falls. "B" is not so "dainty" he gets up and just starts to run with his hands above his head (is this normal?) and runs and runs and runs..you get the picture..
Speaking of the hands above his head, he always has them in this position while walking errrr running.. he holds toys, books and food this way also.. is this for balance I wonder? did he watch too much world cup and is mimicing the goals scored.. (his stance is similiar to the soccer dance the players perform on the field after scoring)
I love to hear McKinley and Brennen in our sunroom playing during the day they are so funny, with McKinley instructing "B" how to "play" a game and him seeming happy enough to follow along until.. he sees something that he wants or is tired of following instructions then its just pure mayhem..:) Usually refereed by John or I, with McKinley being quite sad that "B" won't follow the "rules" and "B" just running along the sun room playing the game "his way" not quite understanding the uproar he has caused.
Its so nice to have a son like Brennen to watch how he interacts in that special way of his.. When someone approaches us he is initially quite shy and hides his face in my neck but hesitantly he peeks at the person and in 10 minutes he is literally hanging off of their bodies trying to climb up onto their heads lol...Its amazing to see the differences between him and McKinley, she is quite outgoing and he is more shy but when it comes to wildness he is uncontrollable..So far he has pulled down two lights off our table, tried to eat a watch battery (where he got that I don't know) thrown various articles in the toilet, fell into the tub twice, fell out of our bed once, off the couch (he was jumping on it with McKinley) twice and has more bumps and bruises then I have ever seen.
Brennen's new trick is drinking bath water! yup thats right he has a nightly bath with McKinley (and I) and his new trick is to put his face in the water and drink it.. with lots of laughter (which makes him do it more) from McKinley its his newest trick which is very proud of..
Well I could go on and on regarding my silly son but gotta run, the crew is on their way to pick me up (I am writing from work) and just talking about them has made me anxious to spend some giggle time with them..
cheers,
