Bathtime is getting to be harder and harder for all of us. HELP!!!!!! The last time I gave Clara a bath she screamed the whole time. I put her in the tub on her back and pour water over her head (not in her eyes or on her face) to get her hair wet and wash out the shampoo. Last time I did this she had her hands over her ears screaming, "Not my ears! Not my ears!" I've thought before that maybe it scares her to have her ears underwater. I've tried to make a game of it... "Does Mommy sound funny?" Lately, it just seems to be getting worse and worse. Can the water actually hurt her ears? Someone I talked to about this suggested putting cotton balls in her ears at bathtime. Anyone have any ideas or experiences with this?
I'm keeping it short this time... not much new has been going on the past few weeks. We are STILL moving, and Clara is liking her new "school".
