Kathy's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 13, 2004

Well, two days after I made the last diary entry, they came to pick up Dreamer, the horse that was sold to a lady in Oklahoma. We went through the whole bit... "Where's Dreamer?" "She's in the trailer" "Why?" "She's going bye-bye" "Me too!" "No, you are staying here with us!" "Whaaaaaaaa!" That's was about it. She started screaming and wanted to go inside. Since then, she still says her name a few times when we go out to the horses, but hasn't asked about her and doesn't seem to miss her at all. I guess that's good. I was worried about it.

James got a new job which includes a house so we will be moving across town. The house is a little smaller than the one we are in now, but not much. We'll do a slow gradual move and plan to be completely out of this house by April 7th. We will also be looking for a new babysitter who is closer. James will have to start work at 7am so he'll have to get Clara up and take her to the babysitter before then. The job he got is working on a 4,000 acre ranch with 700 head of cattle. He'll get to be a real cowboy now! We are excited about it. That's one reason we wanted to move out to Montana. This new place is actually closer to town than we are now and it will cut about 5-10 minutes off my drive time to work.

Clara is getting her last bunch of teeth in. YIPEE! The same thing happened last time... she went a long time without any new ones then got about 8 in all at once. Now we are cutting the eye teeth and the second molars. So, once again, eight teeth at once! I can see the bottom 4 comming through, but I don't see the top ones yet. I'm sure they won't be far behind! She's had a bad diaper rash the last day or two. Somewhere I heard that it can be related to teething, but I also know that she is very sensitve to some foods. Especially anything with tomatos in it, but of course, ketchup is one of her favorites!

Guess that's all for now!
