December 3, 2002
Well, well where does the time go? I can't believe it's December already! I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a good one. We had a nice time with family and lots of yummy food and lots to be thankful for! On another note, I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. I have about half of my shopping done. I hope I can get it all done in time this year as my motivation for everything these days has flown out the window! It doesn't help that I have had some morning sickness these past two weeks either! I hope it goes away soon. I have been so lucky this time around though with Seth I was a lot worse.
*Come take a peek ~ At Seth's web site*
Yep! Finally, I was able to get Steve to update Seth's web site with a new page of pictures. He also gave me a little lesson on how to work it for myself. I will never remember all he taught me though! We are also thinking of overhauling the whole site in a different program. I hope it's easier to do then this last one!!! Here's the address:

If you just want to see the new pictures click on New Pics and it will bring you right there. :o)
*Speech Therapy*
Steve and I decided to keep Seth in therapy once a week. He seems to do better when we go to her office then when at home. I think it's easier since Seth doesn't have the run of the place like he does here. He actually has to ask her what he wants ~ at home his toys are all accessible to him. He is doing well and has even said a four word sentence twice now! I really hope he catches up fast. I myself have a learning disability and I know how hard it is to be behind and have hard times with something. Seth's therapy is at the same hospital he was in the NICU at. The last two time I have taken Seth to therapy I have also visited the NICU. It's so different since Seth was there. They have totally changed the whole thing! It's much better and updated and a lot more private for the families and babies. It looks really nice but, I still am hoping and praying we won't have to go there with this baby. I also got to see some of Seth's nurses. They all can't get over how big he's gotten. I have yet to see Seth's main nurse who has been off every time we have visited. I am really hoping she'll be there tomorrow.
*Our first big snowfall*
Yesterday, we got our first big snowfall here in WI. We had a few dustings last week but this one gave us approx. 3in.! Seth, Steve and I went out to play in it last night. Seth had a blast playing. He threw some snow at me after Daddy taught him how! He laughed each time he did it too! He was so darn cute all bundled up in his Wisconsin Badgers snow suit. When he fell he couldn't get up without our help. He also went for a little sled ride in his sled with Daddy pulling him. He was all smiles and even started giggling when the snow hit his face. He made his first snow angel after watching Steve make one too. He couldn't quite get the hang of the arm part but, he defiantly had his legs going. Then he went down his slide a bunch of times. A few times he landed at the bottom with his face planting right down in the snow. He didn't seem to mind too much but, he did say that's cold! He says that when we change his diaper about his wipes too. It's too funny - he just started that a week ago. After our time in the snow we went for a little drive to see some of the Christmas lights on houses. Seth kept saying WOW! And more lights as we drove.
Well that's about all the news I have for Seth this time around. Hope this entry finds everyone doing well. May all your dreams come true!
