Kathy's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
April 5, 2003
Whew!!! It’s been awhile since I have written. Believe it or not I have been trying to write an entry for quite some time now. It just seems as if I keep getting sidetracked or I am just not in the mood to sit in front of the computer these past few weeks. So hopefully I can get this entry up with no interruptions!!!
*First for Seth*
March was just a wonderful month weather wise here in Wisconsin. We had two weekends that the temp was 60* and higher. Now if you have ever lived in the Midwest you would know the winter likes to drag on through May so we took advantage of any warm days we got. It was so refreshing to have the wonderful weather here as we were able to spend a lot of time outdoors. ( Just to let you know or weather hasn’t been too great since April hit it’s been in the 40’s again and we even had a rain, sleet, ice and then snow storm just last night)! With out jackets or just having to wear light ones. Seth was able to enjoy the warm weather as well. He has been riding his tricycle around our neighborhood. I was amazed to see him able to peddle and steer so well as last fall he wasn’t even able to do either!!! When ever Seth would see anyone one out he had to stop and tell them “I’m riding my bike” he was so excited to tell anyone who would listen. I have to say he looked pretty cute riding it around as well.
Seth also flew his first kite that we picked up it was just a cheap 3 dollar one that had Spiderman on it. It did the job pretty well for being so inexpensive. Seth had a lot of fun flying it as he held onto the handle once Steve got it up in the air for him. He seemed to know he had to back up so the kite would stay a float. He would laugh with delight when it would crash to the ground. Then he would say “get it Daddy”. He wouldn’t let us near the handle as he kept telling us “I do it”!!!
One of Seth other firsts was getting a ride on Daddy’s bike. One of Steve’s co-workers had given him one of those seats you can attach to the back of a bike for toddlers to sit in. So Steve put it on while Seth and I went to the grocery store to get some bratwurst so we could have a cook out that night. When Seth and I got back Seth saw the seat and said “pretty cool”!!! We asked him if he wanted to go for a ride with Daddy and he said “yes” so we got him all strapped in and put his helmet on and off he went with daddy as I started supper. Steve and Seth were gone for about a half an hour and when they got back I could see Seth had fallen asleep. We had such a great day I can’t wait till the weather warms up for good around here!!! I am grateful for the two nice weekends we had.
*Daddy goes to Florida for a few days & Seth has yet another ear infection*
Yep! Daddy went to Florida for a business training seminar. Unfortunately, Seth and I had to stay home if you read my Babies Today diary you might recall we got to go with Steve last time. Since I am in my third trimester with this PG we decided it would be best if I stayed close to home this time around. Steve was only gone for four and half days but, it was hard both on Seth and I. We both missed him like crazy the whole time he was gone. Seth slept a lot while Steve was gone and I thought it was just his way of dealing with Daddy not being around. He had a runny nose and had a very low grade fever on and off during this time as well. I kept asking him if something hurt and he would point to his right ear. So after we picked up daddy from the airport we headed over to the after hours walk in clinic to confirm my suspicions of yet another ear infection. I mentioned to the Doctor this was his third one since December and she said “ohh you should really let Seth’s Doctor know it is his third one in less than six months as he may need to have ear tubes if this continues”. So I called and Seth has a ear recheck next Wednesday April 9th. I am curious to see what his Doctor tells us. It’s funny Seth had quite a few ear infections his first year of life and his Doctor said one more and we’’’ be talking tubes. Well he didn’t have any ear infections but, maybe one when he was one. Now since this past December he is on his third one. So we’ll see what happens at the Dr.’s this Wednesday.
*Closing Seth’s diary here on TT*
Thanks to everyone who posted to me after my last diary entry about this. After much thought I have finally decided to close this diary and continue writing about Seth over at PG Today if your interested. It’s just to hard to keep up with diaries and I feel it will be better just having to write in one place. I will be requesting a Mom’s Today dairy as well. I do want to finish out the rest of my PG over at PG Today I just feel it’s where I belong until this LSP is born. Thanks again for every ones input on this matter. I am looking forward to sharing our lives with you over at Mom’s Today when I become a mother of two little miracles!!!
*A note to Seth*
Dear Seth,
Some day you will be reading this and I want you to know how much I love you. You have brought and I am sure you will keep bring a lot of joy to my life. I have always wanted a little boy to love since I can remember. When I was a little girl I dreamt of having a little brother well, I am so lucky God has blessed me with such a neat little son.
You were so tiny when you were born I am still amazed by you every day. You’re growing up so fast and you will soon be a big brother. I have enjoyed writing all about your life in these past two diaries. I am looking very forward to writing about you and your new sister or brother together in the year to come. I just want to tell you I will love you always and forever. You are the sweetest little boy I know. You put so many smiles on my face and I hope all your hopes and dreams come true.
Love always,
Your Mommy :o)
Thanks to everyone who has followed Seth’s diary these past two years. I have enjoyed sharing his life with all of you and remember you can find us over at PG Today under Kathy K. until we get a diary on Mom’s Today. See you over there!!! :o)
(((HUGS))) to everyone!!!
Kathy, Seth & LSP :o)
