Kathy's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
March 4, 2003
Well it looks like last week got away from me. It all seems like a blur to me now as we have been keeping ourselves quite busy. Over the past few days Seth has been showing signs of the trying threes as we call them. He wants to be so independent but, yet needs our assistance with some things and it down right makes him frustrated. We are hoping this is just a phase he’s going through as both Steve and I are going crazy!!! As I am typing this Seth has already asked for milk, juice, to play on the computer (which he has already broke the cd rom someway somehow). and fruit snacks! This is what he is like the whole day. It not horrible but, after an hour of him doing this it starts to wear on our nerves. He also likes to explore how things work these days and let me tell you little boys love to take things apart! He loves to take out the batteries of our remote controls and the ones to or cordless computer mouse. Now don’t get me wrong I love every minute of this as it reminds me I am a parent. It’s just that being one is a lot harder than I could have ever imagined!!! I keep wondering what it’s going to be like with two little ones. Are we in for it or what?
*A day Trip to visit or friends in Madison*
Last week Wednesday Seth and I got up early and drove the hour and half drive to go see or friends Carl, Angie, Athena & Zander. Those of you that have or had read my babies diary will remember they used to live close by us and I used to watch Athena. It was so nice to see them and I can’t believe how big Zander has gotten from last September. For those of you who may not be familiar with them Zander was born last June and then a week later they moved to Madison do to a Job change. Athena turned two in October. It was so nice to see them again. We all had a nice time visiting and catching up and just talking about being Moms. Seth and Athena played well together too. Seth also had fun chasing the cats around the house I am sure they were both relieved when we left! Seth did very well on the car ride there and on the way back he fell asleep. I really miss them living close by but, it was wonderful to see them again. It’s also nice that they didn’t move super far away and that I am able to drive and spend a day with them if I want too. I am looking forward to this summer as they have a neat little amusement park near by that Seth would enjoy.
*Going to Chuckie Chesses*
Last week Thursday Seth and I were invited to my nephews (Seth’s cousin) “friends” b-day party at Chuckie Cheeses. When we first got there a person dressed up as Chuckie was out dancing and singing happy b-day to the kids. When Seth saw him he instantly started telling me “I scared Mommy” and then started to cling to me and cry. After a little while Chuckie was all done and left. Seth settled down and was able to eat some pizza. He had fun playing all the games too. They have one that he practically liked it was one of those that had a ball you could kick. It was a soccer ball and anything to do with balls is right up Seth’s alley. I am afraid he’s going to want to join every sport imaginable when he gets bigger! I can see it now I will be driving him around all over town from one place to the next! Well I know that won’t really happen because he’ll have to choose one thing at a time and he’ll have to keep good grades if he wants to participate in sports. We had a good time and Seth even got to get a huge sucker from all the tickets. He was in his glory that’s for sure!!!
*Writing two diaries is starting to be harder to keep up with*
I love writing about my little guy over here on TT but, I have been contemplating closing Seth’s diary and just updating on my PG diary about all of us. I haven’t made up my mind yet but, I am leaning more towards combining at this particular time. Now if anyone is reading what do you think I should do? I do plan on moving to Mom’s Today after this LSP is born so, I will be combining my diary to one anyway. I’m just finding it super hard to keep up with two diaries at this point and I give any of you who are writing two or more of them lots of credit!!! When I have two munchkins I just know there is no way I’d be able to keep up with two diaries. Up until this point I have thought it was nice to keep my PG diary separate from Seth’s diary. My emotions are a little mixed up on if I should combine or just wait until this LSP is born still as you may already have guessed. I would also love to hear from anyone who reads about us over here. It would be fun to see where you’re from, if you have any children if so, what are their ages and how many people are reading about us. I would love to hear any input on this matter. Thanks in advance.
