Hello mommies! I hope everyone is doing well.
Nicholas has turned into such a little character. His expressions and attitude are just adorable. He tells you things so matter of factly. Even when he is mad it is hard not to laugh at him. Then he gets his little tone in his voice and tells you that it is not funny. lol
We have starting moving Nicholas into a big boy bed. He has gone from his crib onto the bottom bunk. For now his older brother is sleeping with him on the bottom bunk, so it has been all right. Nap time has been a little harder because Anthony doesn't take naps. Some days I give up and put him into his crib to nap. It is easier at bed time because dh is home to help out. This is a big adjustment for Nicholas though, he loves his crib so much. If he gets sad at all during the day and I can't pick him up and snuggle him he will go stand by his crib and hold the sheet in one hand and suck his thumb. He is pretty attached to that crib. I am glad it is going as easily as it is though. I want to get him all settled into the bottom bunk and have him there for a few months before we move the baby into the crib so that he isn't mad at Christopher for taking his bed. We are getting him new flannel sheets for the bunk bed for Christmas. He should like that since flannel is his favorite thing to hold while sucking his thumb.
Nicholas is so excited for Christmas to be here. Dh took the boys to the school play the other night so that they could sit on Santa's lap and tell them what they want for Christmas afterwards. Nicholas was standing in line saying "Santa, Santa" the whole time they were waiting. We have also been watching Christmas movies and he gets so excited when he sees the reindeer and Santa. It is so cute. He has also gotten a hold of two presents under the tree and opened them. Luckily they are presents for other people that don't live at this house. He picked just the right ones to open. We have our tree in the computer room right off the living room. It is suppose to be a formal dining room, anyway we have gates up in the door way, so all our stuff won't be ruined before Christmas. The only time the kids are allowed in here is at night during cocoa and elf watching time.
Nicholas thinks it is so cool that the elves throw him money out of the tree. I think he wants one to go to bed with him and snuggle though. lol Cocoa time is right before bed time and he always asks the elves to go to bed. Or offers them some cocoa. lol
I better run, take care everyone. Jonnah and boys
