Hello Mommies. I hope all your toddlers are feeling well this week. We have been so busy lately. We have had to go somewhere every day this week and it never fails that it is either in the morning when Nicholas is still trying to sleep or during his nap time. He has been crabby because of lack of sleep. Hopefully he will be able to catch up on some. I know he took a really long nap yesterday and was already in better spirits. He is normally so happy I hate to see him tired and down.
Well, we went to the doctor appointment. Nicholas now has to be weighed and measured on a regular basis. He is only 31 inches tall and 22 pounds. If he stays the same or drops any then he has to be tested for different things. But if he starts to gain weight and grow then he should be fine. He eats like a horse, so I know that's not it. Hopefully everything will work out fine. He comes from a short family so I am sure he is just going to be short.
The other new and exciting thing that happened this week is that Nicholas turned 2. He was so crabby on his birthday. He didn't want anything to do with anybody. We had a small party for him here at the house and invited a friend and her DH and kids over. Nicholas couldn't wait for presents. He wanted them then and there. He threw a couple of fits, but when he got his little people barn he forgot about being crabby and played with it for hours. We are having another birthday party for him tonight with DH's family. Hopefully he will be in a better mood. We also have to go to his cousin's birthday party today though and it is right in the middle of nap time. Maybe he will sleep during the hour drive there and home.
Well, I will talk with you all next week.
Take care.
Jonnah and boys
