Jonnah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 4, 2000

Nicholas is growing up way too fast for me. Don't get me wrong, most 1 year olds tower over him, but he can say and do anything his big brother does, or Mom and Dad do for that matter. He is always so serious when he talks to you and is dead set in his ways. This evening he stood beside me pulling on my arm trying to get me to go into the kitchen to make him some homemade ice cream. He is so damn cute. He can do the naughtiest things and still be so darn cute.

Like the other night when the guys were moving the stuff out of the kitchen so that the carpet could be laid, they were talking away and one of the guys said "ain't that a bunch of bull shit." Now Nicholas' favorite thing to say is "ain't dat a bunch bull chit." It is so cute and he says it with the most serious face a toddler could have. You just can't help but to laugh at him. We are even tempted to make him repeat it. We are going to have to start really watching what we say around him. Our older son never really picked up the repeating habit, so we had it easy with him. It is just so funny when Nicholas does stuff like that because there he is this little guy talking and acting like a big guy.

We went and got our Christmas tree today. You all should have seen how cute Nicholas was with his too big boots on trying to walk through the snow with his short little legs. His brother made a huge snow ball. It was probably almost as big as Nicholas and Nicholas bent over and Anthony threw the snowball at him. It landed right on Nicholas' back and knocked him face first into the snow. You should have seen the look on that little guy's face. Then he kept trying to run off and find his daddy. He was yelling "daa let's do" "cut a tree daa let's do" it was so cute. Matt would yell back and we would hear the echos and he would look around. He kept trying to go the opposite way of where his dad was. I could go on all day about all the cute things Nicholas does and says. He is my little doll. I never want him to grow up. I don't want any of my boys to though.

Take care!
