Hello everyone. Nicholas is still sick. Poor little guy hasn't been feeling well at all. The saddest thing is when he walks up to me and asks to go night-night. It breaks my heart. I know he isn't feeling well, but to be sick enough not to enjoy things in life like cartoons and toys, now that is what I call sick.
We are going to my MIL's house for Thanksgiving. I love my DH's family, but they all smoke. I have to be trapped in the house with my three kids and at least four chain smokers all day long. It is going to suck. At least it is only one day out of our lives.
Matt's (DH) aunt Gail hasn't got to meet little ber-ber (Christopher) yet, so she is looking forward to that. We were going to go to my grandma's house which is an eight hour drive, but we decided against it. We can't afford it right now and I don't know if I could put up with DH in the car that long. The kids don't bother me. Nicholas is great in the car. He doesn't sleep, but he plays with his toys. Each of the boys has a car phone and pager. I also found some little Etcha-Sketches. They are great in the car.
Nicholas is learning more and more every day. When we used to tell him to close his eyes he would make them look all the way up and think that he was closing them. He finally closed them for the first time the other day. It was so cute because he shut them and then he looked at me with big eyes, started clapping and said "yay, I did it." What a little cutie. I kinda like that fact that he is so short. It makes me think that he isn't getting as big as he really is. It is hard to believe that he is going to be 2 years old in 17 days. Boy how the time flies.
Anthony, Nicholas' older brother is gone for a few days, so I hope to spend a little extra time with Nicholas. Maybe I will make DH watch ber-ber and Nicholas and I will go out to dinner or something. Just snuggling with him watching cartoons makes him happy. He is very easy to please.
Well, I better cut this short. You mommies take care. Give all your toddlers a hug and remember to make every day last as long as it can. Don't worry about tomorrow.
Jonnah and boys!!
