Nicholas stayed with my mom while I worked on Sunday. While my mom had him a friend came over and she has a 7-month-old who is about the same size as our little Nicholas. He knocked her over and held her down. My mom had to make him stand in the corner because he wouldn't be nice to her. She has a big sister who then sat beside her and Nicholas kept slapping at her hair beside her face and saying "no baby." He was really cute, but naughty. He doesn't really know any better yet.
Nicholas is napping better, but he is getting up every night and ending up in bed with us. It is a bit cramped. DH wants to put him into a big boy bed, but I am afraid with the way he rolls all over the place that he will fall out and they have a hard wood floor in their bedroom. My other concern is that he will get up in the middle of the night and not come straight back to our room. He is still little and there are a lot of things he can get hurt on or be naughty with. He also has to walk by a hot wood stove to get to our room and the house is pretty dark. We do leave one light on.
Nicholas was a Diablo man for Halloween. His dad made him a helmet, a shield and body armor out of cardboard and duct tape. On the shield he put a bock-bock (chicken) so that he could show it off when he trick-or-treated. He was adorable and won first place at the costume contest.
That is it for now. Take care!
