Jonnah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 11, 2001

Nicholas just got back from swimming lessons. He did great. They skipped him through Journey one and he goes straight to journey two next year. He will be in the same class as his older brother. They also want him to be in a swim program throughout the winter so that he can keep up on his swimming skills and maybe be in some sort of a compitition. I was so impressed when I heard all this about my little guy. You should see him out in the water he is so short he can't even touch without part of his face going under, but he wants to do it all on his own.

I think he got his swimming skills from me. I was jumping off the diving board at his age. I hope that he continues with this and doesn't get a fear of water and quit. All this really makes em want to move to a bigger town so that we can continue to work with Nicholas in the water.

Not too much is happening on the potty training. I need to take some time and really work with him on it. The biggest problem is that he poops like two or three times a day and it is not solid at all. I don't know if this is normal or not. I know that I have never seen this or been around this, so I am going to check with his doctor and find out. I still need to get him in for those tests.

I think I will start Nicholas on some preschool work this year when his brother is off to school. He will be three in a few months, so I figured I would see if he was interested at all. If not we will try again next year.

Take care, Jonnah and boys!!
