Happy Fourth of July!!
We are all very excited to go set off firewqorks tonight. Alot of people around town are meeting down at the tennis courts tonight and letting off fire works together. I think it will be lots of fun!
Nicholas went a little walk the other day. Something terrible could have happened to him and we could be Nicholas'-less right now. Here is the story!
I went to tan so I left Nicholas nad the other boys at my friends house. She was going to watch my kids while I tanned and I was going to watch hers while she tanned.
Anthony, Grady and Nicholas all went outside to play in the play house. I don't know how long it was since they had last been checked in on, but when I got back from tanning there was a state truck leaving the church. I thought that was funny that a state truck would be up at church! Anyway, I got to the house and walked in and then the phone rang. The number was an odd one so my friend asked if I knew who it was. I told her it was the church. SAhe asnswered the phone and it was my mom she said Nicholas is up here at church! I instantly freaked out and yelled at my friend to find the other boys! She has a long driveway it had to have taken him awhile to get down the drivway and get to the church! I drove there. That is how far it is! Anyway, my mom came out with Nicholas and told me that a state truck brought him up there and said that he was on the hi-way!
I fraked out some more and I was still pretty much in shock when I went and got the other boys and took them home. She lives on a hill. If you go one way you hit the hi-way if you go the other way you go right to the river. Nicholas could have easily drowned or got ran over by a car/truck! We are very lucky that Nicholas was picked up by a state truck and not someone else. Nicholas in so many different ways could not be with us right now!
I am so glad that we live in this little town and everyone watches out for everyone else and their kids. I don't know what we would have done if the outcome would have been any different.
I think Nicholas knows now that he can't leave the yard. She has ne fence there so we made another rule that they can't go outside without atleast the older kids out there to watch them!
Love your children everyday and make sure they are safe!
Jonnah and boys!
