Nicholas went to grandma Kate's for the week. I took them Tuesday morning and I didn't go to pick them up until Friday. They had a great time and were very good for their grandma.
I myself had a great time. I got a lot done around the house that I normally can't get done when the boys are under foot. I got all the carpets cleaned and the house moved around. It looks great.
We went to The Enchanted Forest yesterday when we picked up the kids. Nicholas hadn't been for a year. A year makes a big difference at this age. Last year when we went he spent the whole time in the stroller and didn't care to get out and explore anything.
This year he walked through the entire thing. He even got to enjoy one kiddie rid. It was bumper boats. he loved them. He was so excited that he was big enough to get into them and drive around in the water bumping into his cousin and brother.
Nicholas got to go on the slide. It comes out from the shoe. Out of the nursery ryme. "There was an old lady who lived in a shoe". It was a huge slide. he got to go down it twice. After that and the hike back up the hill he toppled over and fell face first into one of the brick side walks. Poor little guy scraped up his head pretty good but was ready tro jump right back down and explore some more stuff.
Well, that is about it. A pretty busy week in itself. I will be sure to post pictures on our web site when I get some developed.
