Jonnah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 19, 2001

Nicholas has been such a little monkey. I blew up the monitor for the computer and the old one is still sitting here on the floor. he will climb on Anthony's desk to get ontop of the monitor and then slid down it like a slid. He got so upset when he landed on the cord and it poked him in the butt.

We have not been trying to potty train Nicholas at all. We feel that we should wait until they are totally and completely ready so that we don't have to go through two stages of training. Night and day. Anyway, we recently bought a new potty for nicholas for when he is ready. We didn't make a big deal out of it at all. Just bought it and put it in the bathroom beside our potty. nicholas has taken a great interest in it. he asked to go potty and I let him. I am still not pushing the issue becasue i don't feel like he is really ready yet. However, it is great that he has taken an intrest and maybe he will be trained sooner then his older brother was, but I am not really counting on that.

Nicholas wants to be big so bad. he tries so hard to play with the older kids and do the things that they do. The poor little guy doesn't have size on his side either. he can hardly keep up walking let along running around the yard and jumping on the trampoline. Maybe he will go through a growing spurt soon and will be able to play with the older kids a little more. Until then, we will just have to settle for the thumb sucking, pillow toteing momma's buy!

Until next week.... Jonnah and boys!!
