Jonnah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 2, 2001

It is hard to believe all the things that Nicholas has accomplished in the last year. At this time a year ago he didn't have a very wide vocabulary at all. He didn't know how to walk. He was still a "baby." Now he is this "big" boy. It makes me sad to think about how fast they grow and learn things.

Now that I am writing the diary I will know exactly everything my kids have done for the entire year. It will all be on record.

Nicholas is jealous of his big brother's desk. He thinks that he is big enough to paint and color. I would like the desk to stay in good shape so that when Nicholas is big enough he can have it. He gets ahold of the markers and crayons and tries to color on everything. Anthony never did that as a child and we never had to worry about leaving a pen down. Nicholas is so much differnt. He is into everything. Wanting to know how everything works. He likes to just sit and take it all in. Nicholas is a very content child. He will sit and play with one toy for a long time. I think the reason for this is because he is figuring it out. He will probably be just like his dad and take all his toys apart when he gets old enough. My mom bought the boys a car and a plane that you can take apart and put back together. He loves it. He loves the little drill that can pull the wheels off. He will sit there and take them apart and put them back together and never get bored.

Anyway, Nicholas has grown and changed a lot in this last year. I can't wait to see what he will accomplish in the year 2001. Take care. Jonnah and boys
