Sorry it has been so long since my last entry. There has been so much going on that I really haven't had time to sit down and write(type) one. However, I am FINALLY here, but it might be a short one.
Autumn is doing wonderful! We went on vacation last moonth to Indiana to visit my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We all had a great time. I couldn't believe how Autumn adjusted to everyone. (she hadn't seen them since Christmas). As soon as we pulled up to my grandparents house and got out of the car, Autumn went right to my Grandma. Of course, she went to all the females. The males could do everything but hold her.
She found her a best friend in my 5 year old cousin, Samantha. The two of them played and played until they were pooped out. We went to the mall and few times and sure enough, Samantha came along. (although Joe and I didn't mind at all). Everyday, when Samantha had to go home, poor little Autumn cried and wanted to go with her.
It was sad to leave my grandparents and the rest of my family, but we are planning another trip soon. Which is something we are all looking forward too.
As for things here at home, they couldn't be better. Joe and I are having the best time being parents to a toddler. She sure is full of laughs!
She had her first Trick-Or_Treat night last night. I have to say she had a BLAST!She was the cutest little LadyBug! A friend of mine came over and we took her out for about 45 minutes. Then when Joe came home her took her out again for about a half hour.
She was so funny... when we would take her up to a house, she would have her little bucket in hand...she would sit it down so she could knock on the door. WHen the person answered she would pick her bucket up and say "Treat". After they handed her a piece of candy, she would help herself to another piece or two. (of course the people found it cute..I found it embarrassing). After she got what she wanted, she could say "thanks" and wave good-bye.
We then passsed out candy, and she enjoyed watching all the kids who came to the door. She even "helped" give the candy to them. By the end of the night when it came time for her bath, she screamed wanting to keep her costume on. Poor kid was so worn out she even went to bed an hour early and didn't get up this morning until 6:30am. (usually 6:00am). Of course, she slept with her soft, cuddley costume.
Well, that does it for us...we are taking her candy to the police station to be checked today.
Take care all..
Jessie and Autumn "The LadyBug"
