To begin with..I want to let you know that my DH (Joe) along with Julie's (From babiestoday diaries)DH (Carl) will be in the magazine Baby Years Oct/Nov issue. The had part in an article about "Date Night" (night's out alone w/ spouse after kids). The article was written by Kendyel(sp) who writes for Parenting today. So, pick up the issue if you can.
Now on to my growing toddler. It seems as if we have went from her throwing tantrums to being a climber/comedian who terrorizes our cat. Oh the things they do and say.
She did the FUNNIEST thing today. I laugh everytime I think aout it. It took all I had just to tell DH about it when he got home.
First of all I have to tell you our cat LOVES water. (strangest thing huh?) It doesn't bother him to get a bath at all. So, it didn't surprise me when he fell in the toilet and just sat there as if it was no big deal.
Anyway, Autumn deceided to take the time to perfect her new trick of FLUSHING the toilet. So, here the cat was...sitting in the toilet...the water is going down..the poor cat starts gooing down right along with it. He FINALLY jumps out meowing running, Autumn is chasing after him laughing saying "mere kitty..mere kitty". I am almost on the floor laughing "trying" to get Autumn away from the cat so I can dry him off. He runs under the bed, she goes under after him. I get her out, he runs and ends up BACK in the bathroom. She goes in after him, laughing as hard as she could. By this time I am in tears from laughing so hard.
i finally had to shut the door so I wouldn't have the whole darn thing happen all over again. I don't think I could have handled it if it did.
It seems as if we have our own free little comedians living in our own house. That is just one thing that she has done it get me laughing so hard. I could be here all day telling more.
I consider myself a lucky mom to have her in my life. She sure keeps me on my toes. (along with DH). Everyday she learns more and it makes me look forward to the following day to see what adventures and new things she will do.
