Jessica's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 27, 2003
Hi everyone. I am glad to be writing a new entry and ridding myself of the old one. I feel like it to was too negative for me. If people are reading this, I want them to go with a more positive impression from me.
Anyway, we are all doing well. I've had a good week. Emma is doing great! She can pull herself up to standing now and acknowledge that she knows some words and stuff. She is a funny girl though. She tunes us out sometimes. She absolutely knows how to do "so big" but she will only do it if she feels like it. She is such a laidback baby, really happy and easygoing. But, it's clear she has a temper and she gets very frustrated sometimes. Also, she will shake her head no when she doesn't want to eat something and even better, she laughs at me when I say no to her. Sometimes she's hell bent on doing something she knows she is not allowed to do. And gives the biggest smile as she is doing it. She's going to be trouble.
Maddie is doing well. She's happy and fun. SHe's very excited about Halloween. She is going to be a princess. She loves the dress and tiara. But, she doesn't know the whole Disney Princess stories and we're holding off on that because I think the movies would scare her. She loves the Corduroy's Halloween book we got her. She keeps asking if she'll find corduroy in the pumpkin patch. I wish I could buy her a corduroy doll but I haven't been able to find anything. I might be able to find green overalls and put them on a bear, but I'm sure that would be hard to find. So, anyway, I can't wait for Halloween. Emma is going to be a pumpkin. She was going to be a cat. SOmeone mentioned that the babygap costumes went onsale in their diary and I checked it out. I loved the pumpkin costume so that's what she'll be. She's so adorable in it. I will have to take pictures and post them on their website.
What else is new? I've sort of fell off the wagon with my whole excersize and eat right plan that I was doing so well with. I've been eating like whatever I wanted, some dairy too and not excersizing as much. I was weighed tonight (after dinner) and was not too pleased with how much I weighed. My pants are more tight too. So, I'm officially remotivated to stay healthy. I would be in perfect shape, in my opinion if I could lose 15lbs. I think, maybe when I stop nursing in one month that that will help. We'll see.
Also, this is really embarassing for me to say but since I don't really know anyone here I guess it's okay. I went to the Doctor's tonight, my ob/gyn. She delivered both of my girls and I really like her. I've had a little pain and she checked it out and said I have scar tissue where I tore with both deliveries and she is going to SURGICALLY remove it (the scar tissue). I've never had surgery. It seems so severe and scary. Not to mention in that general area. I'm not going to tell all of my friends/family if they don't ask. It will probably be soon. But, I'll need to ask my mom or mother in law to babysit. It's made me a little sad to have to go through something like this. But I'm sure it will be over soon.
WEll, have to go. Thanks for reading.
Jess
